Last week our friend had his birthday and we requested a nicely laid table for breakfast the day before at reception. On arriving for breakfast we found that nothing had been done as promised! Remember, we are talking about a 5 Star Resort ... We have been to quite a few similar resorts in Thailand over the past few years - this has never happened anywhere else before. Now today is my birthday and my friends have placed the same request for a specially nicely laid table - again this was completely ignored - unbelievable! They were very disappointed once again. The hotel ist fine, staff are very helpful and friendly and we are happy staying here. But things like that should just not happen

PROS: - Excellent hotel-beach access - Excellent resort beds and pools, with pool slides, mini river, 'cliff dive' - Child friendly with play and games area, and pool side activities - Has a quiet adults only infinity pool - Well equipped gym - Spa with massage services non site - Great access to services via the hotel app, including booking dinners, excursions, room amenities like irons (for no charge), and excursions - Decent dining options - Quiet beach - 20min walk to town - On site parking - Staff always willing to help with any concerns and have golf cart concierge - Can provide breakfast for early check outs - Great variety of rooms - Huge variety for breakfast - View of beach at sunset is one of the picturesque things you can get here. CONS - Rooms are fine, comfortable, spacious, and fit for purpose BUT definitely require a face-lift. - Hotel prefers a room tab. Can pay cash/card if needs be. Can be hard to keep track of all your purchases. - A little expensive to eat at (Price were ccomparative to UK) but can walk to the town - Food variety at lunch and dinner is somewhat limited and weighted towards western dishes and seafood. 100% would recommend this place and would come to again. Definitely a 4* hotel. Leaps and bounds better than any 3* I've been too, but requires some TLC in the rooms to make it 5*. Some scuffs on paneling, or damage to sinks and baths should not detract from the overall experience you get here. The highlight is easily the pools and the beach.

Great stay, good location on the beach. Rooms were very roomy and some had beach views. Breakfast was plentiful and amazing choices. Happily sat for breakfast for about 45 minutes - just relaxing and watching the world go by. Great pool area, but the beach was perfect. Clean sands, great to see the beach was not full of beds and chairs. Location from Karon was walkable in 15 minutes, quicker if you walked along the beach. The use of the app was great as you could book into restaurant, spa etc all via the app. The staff we interacted with were great - didn’t use the spa (only because we had utilised the outside places in other resorts). We spent our last 4 days travelling in Thailand here and I am so glad we did, as we switched off and just relaxed. Great hotel for downtime.

Jiew assisted us very well. We are very happy with our dinner. Especially the Seabass was excellent!. He also advised us how to eat Phad Thai Goong with lime. Everything was great. And we are very happy with the service in this fantastic resort

We stayed in the resort for 4 nights. Everything worked out great for us. Peaceful resort, lot of activities to do. Private beach, private pool. So calming and refreshing. Away from public. We enjoyed every minute of stay except food. Indian food was poor, very poor with almost no veg option in the breakfast. We tried sambhar and vada - terrible taste.
