Reviews for Le Palais Art Hotel Prague

Nice location, quiet hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The hotel itself is at a nice location, quiet still easy to reach. It is not a big hotel, felt comfortable that at breakfast or in public places only some people were around. However I had a feeling, that some things did not meet the five star standard. Eg. Shutter at window was not properly working, it got stuck several times. There was no conditioner and body lotion which was an unpleasant surprise. It was impossible to find a good 220 voltage connector next to our bed to charge the phone ( there was one in an unreachable place but it was occupied by lamps’ cord and when you switched off the light it did not charge any more). So bits and pieces, which I wouldn’t care if it was not a five star hotel. However breakfast was good, nice variety of egg dishes and warm and cold choices. Although no lactose free sweet bakery despite we asked when reserving the room. We enjoyed the possibility of having coffee or tea and water in our room which was included in the price. It was convenient that it had a garage although during weekend you can park on street too, not far away from the hotel for no extra charge.

Lovely hotel

This is a very nice hotel located in a quieter part of the city. The hotel staff are very friendly and service was excellent. Zuzana in reception speaks great Spanish and English and was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back for my next trip in Prague

Excellent Location & Staff.

Hotel is in a prime location and not too far a walk to the old town, everything is within reach by walking or always got plenty local transport near by as well. The staff make you feel welcome, the food good and wide range at breakfast. Definately woold book again when visiting country :)

Good quiet location

Good hotel in a quiet location - about 10 minute walk to Wenceslas Square and 20 minutes to Old Town. The 23 tram terminates right next to the hotel which is great if your legs are tired. There are some cafes and restaurants near the hotel which is useful as the hotel restaurant isn't open for dinner. There is a small bar and they serve snacks. The hotel has a list of local restaurants for you. Thanks to Kuba on reception who recommended a nearby Mexican place when we arrived late at night. Our room was a deluxe and was spacious and clean. It overlooked the terrace and railway line so could be a little noisy if your window was open. Breakfast was OK- a good range. My only criticism is that the hot food was not hot. My husband asked for poached eggs and was told this was not possible. I wouldn't have expected that in a 5 * hotel. The gym was fine. The spa disappointing and there was a very limited choice of treatments. Many thanks to Jakub who organised a romantic treat on our anniversary day. A lovely gesture. We really enjoyed our stay and loved Prague.

Very pleasant stay in a luxurious hotel in Prague

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

My sister and I stayed at the hotel for five days. The hotel is very spacious and luxurious. The welcome was very warm. The entire hotel team was very pleasant. We had every breakfast at the hotel, which was very good, plentiful and pleasant on the beautiful terrace. In addition, the team was always at our disposal when needed and very reliable. In particular, they helped us a lot during our departure. We had forgotten valuable items in the room, but did not have time to return to the hotel to get them before our flight. The hotel ordered a taxi for us which took the items directly to the airport. We got everything back and on time to get our flight.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Palais. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived and were upgraded to a fabulous suite. It is one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. The staff was very helpful and attentive. We also felt that Martin went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. He recommended wonderful restaurants and was quite helpful in many ways. He really ran the front desk like a seasoned professional.

The service from everyone we encountered at the hotel - guest relations manager, reception, doormen, concierge, bellmen, waiters, spa - was absolutely impeccable. After touring Prague and popping into other hotels, we were thrilled that we selected Le Palais.

I stayed at Le Palais in August and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was world class, the rooms were great and the common areas were a great place to relax. The view from the restaurant and library at the back of the hotel is wonderful - the hotel is tucked into the corner of a side street, so there is no road behind the hotel, just a great view of the city. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Prague.

We just got back from Le Palais and we had an amazing experience. The hotel and our room was beautiful and every member of the staff lived up to the world-class rating. They did everything they could to make our trip so memorable, from upgrading our room to an amazing suite, arranging dinners, helping with rental cars, tracking down lost airline baggage, food service, spa service and helping us find a replacement camera that was damaged. We've never had better service and they always had a smile on their face. Our room's view was wonderful, with the hotel on a ledge overlooking the other side of Prague there was little traffic. It was a quick ride to downtown from here although we walked the majority of the time. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Prague.
