Beautiful location on the water
Terranea is an out of the way resort in SoCal. Spent 3 nights here at a work event. One almost feels like it's a different country. The staff professional, well trained and very nice. The room was spacious, great bathroom and turn down service. The tub deep for relaxing baths. The grounds are impeccable. The food was ok. Overall, a pleasing experience.

Steve Kim is Best Most Amazing Hotel Manager along the West Coast
Having personally stayed at every 5 Star American resort along the Pacific Ocean, some for months at a time, I can vouch with authority that the Front Desk Manager of Terranea, Steve Kim, is Top Notch. As a first time guest of the Resort, I recognize and appreciate his skills and efforts in ensuring the very best of experiences to his guests. Terranea is lucky to have such an incredible manager who genuinely cares about his guests experience.

Wonderful Resort!
We had the pleasure of staying at the Terranea over Valentines weekend. Our experience was beyond our expectations! The food was fabulous, the spa was perfections and the customer service was fantastic. The location is beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. We will be back!

Incredible Stay!
This was such an incredible experience! I went with my best friend in Feb. 2025 for a birthday weekend. We were lucky enough to get upgraded, and the room was absolutely fantastic!!! The service was impeccable, the views were breathtaking, and the property was really well maintained. We enjoyed our dinner at Bashi—so much that we ordered it to go the next night as well. Overall, it was truly a memorable weekend thanks to everyone at Terranea.

An early Valentines romantic getaway
We just returned from an amazing stay at Terranea and wanted to share our wonderful experience from our early Valentines getaway. Our stay was incredibly relaxing and refreshing. We left feeling recharged and rejuvenated from the tranquility that the Terranea resort offers! We would start our mornings at Sea Beans (Terranea's on property coffee shop) getting our tasty Chai Latte with an almond croissant. We would then walk the grounds and marvel at the beauty of the breathtaking coastline and the sensational resort itself. We relaxed poolside in their newly renovated spa facility throughout the afternoon, swam in their heated pool while overlooking the coastline. We finished off our relaxing day getting dressed up and headed to mar'sel for a sensational meal- the butternut squash soup was delicious! A perfect day to share with my Valentine!! Throughout our stay, the staff was so nice and incredibly helpful. They would always insure we were well taken care of. As we were heading back to LAX, we commented on how close (approx. 15 miles) the resort was to the airport, but we felt like we were worlds away from the bustling big city. We can't wait to head back! Thank you, Ralph, and all the Terranea staff.

My husband and I returned from a two night stay and we fell in love with this special place. We will definitely go back again, and maybe even bring the kids next time. The service was terrific, the food amazing, and the spa fantastic!

My wife and I just returned from a 3-night stay at Terranea Resort. We bid and won the package on Luxury Link. The resort was spectacular and the service was second to none. From the moment we pulled our car up to the beautiful entrance we knew we were in for a treat. We arrived around noon and were a little concerned that we were too early to check in, but it was not a problem and we flew through the check-in. The view from our balcony was incredible. There was nothing between us and the blue Pacific Ocean. If we had to choose the best thing about the resort (which is hard to do), we would have to say the massages at the spa were the best we have ever had. This resort is all about service. The staff always had a smile on their faces and went out of their way to make sure you had everything you needed and you were having a good time. The resort is luxury without being pretentious. I don't have a single complaint or suggestion for improving my stay. Thanks for an incredible vacation.

My husband and I just returned from an absolutely fabulous weekend at Terranea. Our 2 night package from Luxury Link included a beautiful ocean view suite, fabulous massages and outstanding breakfasts. The grounds are amazing and we never even left the resort. On Friday and Saturday they have a jazz band that plays in the lobby that was world-class entertainment. Every one of their wonderful employees went out of their way to make our anniversary weekend special. I am so happy that I took the risk of bidding on my first Luxury Link package, as it exceeded all my expectations - and I got a fabulous deal! I will definitely use this site again!

We just returned from fantastic weekend birthday stay at Terranea in an ocean-view suite. Service was top-notch and the grounds are terrific. We watched the sun set into the ocean both nights. They even have a falconer that brings his birds out on a golf cart to deter sea gulls, including an enormous Northern European owl with orange eyes. There were great spa treatments and excellent restaurants, including the stand-out Mar'sel. We will be back.

When my husband and I booked our Terranea package, it seemed too good to be true. Connecting ocean view rooms, 2 massages, breakfast and parking included on a popular August weekend for $1,000? Turns out it was better than anything we could have imagined. The rooms are absolutely 5-star, and the property is breathtaking. The best part, however, was the staff - who really went out of their way to accommodate our every request. At the end of the weekend, the kids were well rested, we were well rested and we couldn't believe we never knew about this resort which is only 2 hours from San Diego. Fantastic. Perfect. Thank You.
