With its secluded location and bougainvillea-draped buildings, the intimate guest rooms are picture-perfect haciendas featuring a generous amount of square footage, hand painted tiles, mission-style fireplaces, exposed wooden beams, pitched ceilings and earthy stucco walls that are cool to the touch. The bathrooms, which are equally spacious and spa-like, are rich with tandem tubs and separate showers. French doors transition the indoors to a private outside garden where you are likely to find a sunken whirlpool or conversation pits for intimate entertaining.

Top Notch Luxury Stay!
My husband and I stayed in The Valencia Suite and it did not disappoint! We appreciated every thoughtful detail including the handwritten note and celebratory champagne and strawberries congratulating us on our wedding anniversary. The room had every comfort we could imagine and we really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor fireplaces and private spa. It was the romantic get-away we were hoping for and more! Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa has the most attentive staff and best amenities, including The Pony Room restaurant (I recommend eggs benedict w/ lobster for breakfast!). Highly recommend!!

Rancho Valencia is an elite Southern California resort and spa for a reason; the grounds are beautiful, the rooms luxurious, and the spa and tennis are 1st class, but it’s the genuine, lovely, and friendly people who work at RV that set it far above and beyond other “5-Star” resorts in California.

Rancho Valencia is an EXPERIENCE!
The entire staff is absolutely amazing! I hosted a two-day board meeting at Rancho Valencia and because of the staff the tone was set and the meeting was flawless. I want to shout out the following individuals who went above and beyond: Faustino Hernandez, Blanca Julian,Arnulfo Rodriguez, Mae Lau, Rubina Alizada, Ted Neubecker, and Jarred Laurence. The whole team is phenomenal, but these individuals provided exemplary service!

World Class Hotel with Excellent Guest Service
Rancho Valencia’s hospitality is the best I have ever experienced!The staff ate friendly, accommodating, attentive, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. In particular Kate and Effrain were incredible and went over the top to help ensure our experience of the property was unforgettable. The food and drinks at the Pony room were perfect and the bartender, Rob was very friendly and fun to chat with. It would be hard not to mention the spa experience which was absolutely world class. You literally fell transporter to Europe and forget where you are when you step into the spa. Outside of the property grounds which are gorgeously landscaped — what will keep us coming back is the attentiveness and authenticity of the hospitality team. They truly care about the food, cocktails and guest experience and are truly a notch above anything we have seen in Southern California. This place will spoil you and sets the bar high for service!

Great resort! The only negative thing I can say is that our time there was too short! We were first time Luxury Link users - the service, meals, accommodations all exceeded our expectations. We have nothing but good things to say about this resort, what a wonderful treat. We have recommended Rancho Valencia as well as Luxury Link as a result of this trip.
