Samoset Resort On The Ocean

My husband and I needed a quick getaway for a night. We stayed in a Superior King Oceanview room that was exactly that, superior! The linens were soft, super clean quiet room, soaking tub was lovely and the view outstanding. We had dinner at their restaurant the night we stayed. Our waitress, Kathryn was excellent. I highly recommend the Chicken Saltimbocca! After dinner we indulged in roasting a few marshmallows in the lobby fireplace and had a very competitive game of checkers. We forgot to pack our swimsuits so we didn’t get to use the pool this time. I’m impressed that the pool hours extend to 11pm! Next time!

Many thanks to Connie GM and Trey Front desk for helping to create a great birthday weekend for my wife. The room upgrade was amazing. The pizza at the lounge was excellent as always, and Carrie’s birthday dinner at the restaurant was soo good. We truly appreciate all you have done for us and love sharing our special moments with you.

My family and I just celebrated my son's 7th birthday at Samoset Resort - and it was perfect! The place is really clean and well maintained. The room was phenomenal - especially the hot tub overlooking the water. Pretty hard to beat that! For the kids, they had so much to keep them happy - swimming in the huge indoor pool, playing games in the game room, exploring the grounds. Lots of good options at the restaurant for both kids and adults. And the staff was incredible from check-in to check-out. Can't think of anything better on a cold weekend than to spend it at Samoset. Highly recommend!

The weather was surprisingly great for March.The local people were very friendly and helpful.The unit was fantastic the staff was very helpful.

Comfortable low key resort in beautiful setting. Adjacent to the Rockland Breakwater Light and its trail. Very good area for birding. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Dog-friendly, including a welcome bag. One of our dog's favorite places and one she hates to leave. Close to very good restaurants in Rockport and Rockland. Great oceanside golf course in season and don't miss Primo and 0 km when they are open from May to early January. Spa, gym, indoor and outdoor pools.
