Fairmont Grand Del Mar

We stayed at this hotel after our wedding and had a beautiful suite! The grounds are perfect and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We love this property and went on a gorgeous walk with our coffees from the little cafe on site. Lovely!

Went to Brunch over Valentine's Day weekend at Amaya....what a fantastic time we had with the 3 course menu for $60.00 per person. This is an incredible deal! Service with Andrea was top notch and the food matched the beauty of this gorgeous 5* resort Fairmont Grand Del Mar in Del Mar/San Diego, CA. Can't say enough of the manager, Michael Malichem of Amaya....great guy and it shows how much he loves his job! Can't wait to come back here since it's like being in Italy but the resort is in my hometown!

Wonderful property. I wish I could have stayed longer. The place is away from the city and it feels tranquil. If you want to relax, play golf, or spend time at the spa, this is the best spot to unwind. I thought the room had a nice classic resort theme to it. Large bathroom. I had a balcony that looked out to a courtyard. Definitely a place I’d like to come back to again.

I travel often for work and stay at many luxury hotels. The service provided at the Fairmont Del Mar, blew me away. Every employee from valet, to concierge, bartender, spa manager, pool attendant, all were wonderful. I had a minor medical emergency pop up, and the front desk called a doctor for me (who was wonderful as well). Multiple managers called to check on how I was feeling. I felt very cared for, which is rare in most hotels. Thank you for a wonderful visit. I will absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone that I know. I hope to return with better weather and to be healthy the entire trip. In addition, the entire hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Every piece of antique furniture, the lamps, carpet, woodwork, wallpaper, it was a delight for the eyes! Beautiful.

Had a magical birthday stay. The resort is outstanding, staff friendly and super attentive . A few staff members that really stood out with their stories and customer service.: Ignacio and Nadya at Amaya were working during my stay. They were amazing. Garrett and Chris at the pool were Rockstars helping us. Jenelle made the perfect cocktails to enjoy by the fire pit in the beautiful room. Nattakitta made the highlight of the trip- the hiking trails easy to go on – from the check in, you were super helpful. Kara and the entire team at the Afternoon tea made me feel so special with the birthday card! Maria and the Housekeeping team, 5 stars! It was a pleasure to meet you and have ya’ll assist us. We will return and hope to see you again.
