Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego

Attendedfor week from 13-20 of Nov had 2 room for liver Conference with AASLD. The hotel is Beautiful and truly the Employees truly care about the experience of their consumers experience. I loved the view we had on the bay side. It was a beautiful experience. We even seen a firework display from our room that was from the midway. I can only suggest that possibly microwaves be placed in rooms so re warming food could be an option. I also would suggest that housekeeping clean the bath grab bars on the backside of tubs mine was a little yucky when I touched it upon Getting out of tub. It was the backside of the bar facing the shower wall that is not seen that had a gritty and unclean feel. I cleaned it myself

My only complaints are minor & petty mostly. Sheets smelt too bleachy and I wish they left more creamer for my coffee lol. Also there were some rips in the carpets in the Conference room area.For the money of the rooms I wouldn't expect to see that. And I would have liked cheaper snacks to eat. Food was a little pricey, but luckily there are plenty of a places to eat around the area. Otherwise the hotel was beautiful, luxurious & pretty clean. I would definitely recommend the Hyatt any day!

We have been coming to the Manchester Grand Hyatt 3 years in a row for my Birthday. If you want to be treated in a special, welcoming manner, stay at this hotel. We had the corner room facing the Bay. It is so dreamy. Keep in mind you are facing the sunset, so as the sun sets, you might want to lower the shades until the actual sunset because the room could get warm. Lots of comfortable pillows, bed is nice and firm, nice size room and very clean bathroom. The rooms are insulated well because I could not hear the room next door or the ice machine right outside our door. The hotel is classy and elegant where the staff makes you feel special. This is a MUST STAY location because of not only the room, decor, comfort and great food...but it is also close to lots of restaurants and shops at Seaport Village and the USS Midway. Lots to see and do. Again, I must applaud the staff at this hotel. They are great.

Got upgrade option for penthouse, was really awesome and cozy with an amazing panoramic view of the bay. Will definitely be booking here again for conference next year and look forward to the stay. Easy access to everything is so convenient.

Despite the hotel making an error with our booking, the staff handled it brilliantly and were very helpful. Mistakes can happen but how they are dealt with can make all the difference and we were very impressed. We didn’t get the room we originally booked but the room we were allocated was really nice with a great view, we received a discount and staff checked a couple of times that we were happy (which we were). The hotel is lovely; clean, well maintained, even when busy it didn’t feel busy, staff were attentive and it is well placed for getting around San Diego. We were visiting as tourists and it was a great spot for navigating the city from.
