Kimpton Sir Francis Drake Hotel

I met up with two of my daughters to have a fun weekend in San Francisco. We stayed at the Beacon Grand in Union Square which was a great location. The hotel is beautifully housed in an old building. From the time we arrived every staff member we interacted with was professional, efficient, and friendly. Walking into the hotel was a lovely oasis from the bustle of outside. The amenities were nice too and I highly recommend the Starlite bar on the 21st floor. The views are spectacular and the drinks were great. It's a perfect spot for before or after dinner drinks and discussions. Our room, while a bit on the small side, was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed. In addition it was clean and quiet which are two of the most important things for me when staying at a hotel! I would absolutely stay here again and I definitely recommend it for those looking for a hotel around the Union Square area.

My husband and I stayed at the beacon grand at the end of April for a very much needed getaway. To say our experience was EXCELLENT is underrated . We have the privilege of making a friend in the rooms operations manager wali salhi who ALWAYS ensures our stay is first class the entire time. Walk goes above and beyond to not only make your stay enjoyable but he makes you feel like family. His staff is the best and they also treat you like family. This past trip we were introduced to Leif Abram guest relations manager who was just extremely accommodating and helped us to navigate our choices in restaurants if you need recommendations just ask Leif! Of course I can't forget Andre who greets you as you arrive he definitely takes care of you. I HIGHLY recommend booking your next stay at the beacon grand it's in the heart of union square walking distance to everything. You will not be disappointed.

The staff particularly the Management was very rude. What could have been having courteous interactions, often turned dismissive became very quickly escalatory and often unnecessary conjecture needing to be added to every interaction.

It was a very pleasant experience, in a magnificient Hotel full of history and real character. I highly recommend it. We loved it!!

Pleasant stay, hotel personnel available, comfortable bed and clean room. Everything worked perfectly, I will come back
