Kimpton Sir Francis Drake Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location is perfect — right in the heart of San Francisco, close to everything. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was very clean and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a day exploring the city. One of the highlights was the Starlite rooftop bar — amazing city views, delicious food, and great drinks. It was the perfect spot to unwind in the evening. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Francisco!

Very good hospitality from all Steff members. The concierge was very helpful believe his name was leigh or something. Front door/bellman super nice person helped me and wali. I will definitely will be visiting soon. Me and my girlfriend loved our stay here! Thank you

I had some trouble figuring out where to stay until I walked up the stairs at The Beacon to find Monica at the front desk, She talked with me about the other hotels I was considering almost like we were old friend, she was so welcoming willing to take time to speak with me which is rare these days. After we spoke for a bit I decided this was the place for me and was so glad I did. My stay here was everything I was looking for and more. The hotel is gorgeous, clean , comfy and every staff member I came in contact with were friendly just like her. I will be back!!!!

We were treated with warmth and professionalism that truly sets this hotel apart. Alex, the bellman, was a standout! Not only did he help save me from being hit by a speeding car, but he was incredibly knowledgeable about things to do in the city and gave us fantastic dinner recommendations. I also have to give a special shoutout to the manager, Monica who was outstanding. Her attention to detail and genuine care for guests were apparent in every interaction. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be a returning guest and if you get the chance to meet either Alex or Monica, you will see firsthand how instantly you feel their care.

The Beacon Grand is a comfortable hotel in a great location in San Francisco: near Union Square, the cable cars, and Moscone Center. A unique feature: the water bottles in the room are metal, with refill stations on each floor, which is a thoughtful alternative to plastic water bottles.
