It was everything—the high energy, the immaculate spaces, the conduite, the presence and attention to detail from everyone, the warmth, the scent—that shaped our memorable experience in SF. The Beacon became our home during our California trip, and we are truly grateful for that. And Monica—the orchestrator of such a seamless, thoughtful, and fully present experience. Her sharp, deep understanding of hospitality and the key elements of the guest experience, always going the extra mile and adding caring touches to every conversation and action, was invaluable. We are so fortunate to have met her, and I’m already looking forward to our next trip and stay at The Beacon. The culture she creates and the relationships she cultivates with her colleagues—everything is clear, simple, and full of depth. Monica, I look forward to meeting again and sharing new stories. Beacon Grand is a fantastic place for a special weekend! It's rare for me to book us a hotel room when we could easily stay with local friends, but a close friend reminded me that we used to go have cocktails here in the 80s when it was The Drake and we loved it, so I splurged for a room to celebrate our 9th anniversary. Alma at the front desk was very kind and found us a room on the 15th floor with a great view. The bed was comfortable and the room was really nicely appointed with all that we needed. The bellman was kind enough to give us a little history on the hotel, which I particularly enjoyed. But the cherry on top was the staff at the Starlight Lounge. We made a reservation for a table just to enjoy a glass of wine and from the moment we arrived, the uber-fabulous hostess made every effort to secure us a table next to the window overlooking Union Square where we could watch the ice skaters and enjoy the holiday lights. They brought us drinks and then surprised us with a special desert lit with candles. It was just so kind of them to make a big deal out of our anniversary since only 10 years ago it wasn't possible for us to marry. I was so impressed with every aspect of our stay at the Beacon Grand and I would definitely come back next time we're in San Francisco. Our deepest gratitude goes out to the whole staff at your wonderful hotel for reminding us of the genuine kindness that still exists in America despite the news. You really made our anniversary special.

Great location, great employees, the rooms are very nice and clean. We are return guests to the Beacon every time we come to the city and would not stay anywhere else!

Lovely renovation of the old Francis Drake hotel. Very comfortable and pleasant. Great breakfast (it's extra, just FYI) at the Salon Room; nice, small gym; very pleasant folks.
