Kimpton Sir Francis Drake Hotel

The central location puts us within walking distance of Chinatown, Little Italy, and the Ferry Building, or you can hop on a trolley or take a rideshare. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel's classic feel reminds us of New York City, which is a nice experience without the 2,500-mile trip. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and up to date - Great value in our opinion. The beds are comfy and gave us some of the best sleep we've had while traveling. The value for a stay is appropriate, given the proximity to so many landmarks and experiences. The staff is superb and welcoming. Everyone from the front office, the bar near the lobby, and the Starlight Lounge has gone above and beyond to provide the atmosphere we now call our home away from home whenever we're in the city. During San Francisco's rainy season, the amenities are a great way to enjoy indoor time. Good luck. Our overall experience is what keeps us coming back at least twice a year.

Our experience at the hotel was made exceptional thanks to Jojit. He was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive to all of our needs. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well accommodated. Outstanding hospitality!

The hotel has charm, but the food was very mediocre. It’s a nice place to stay once, but lacks a real reason to stay there again.

Hotel is grand and nicely maintained. Appreciated some of the soft updates. Charging ports and wall outlets do need to be updated as it was hard to maintain phone charge. Staff is very nice and Grettel was a superstar, Wali was helpful. Cleaning, engineering and front office and guest services were friendly and attentive. Location is excellent and the old world charm of the hotel and Starlite was nice to see. Thank you!
