Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa

Casino is like any other casino . I actually won . It was fine on that level . I waited literally 25 min for a players club card as I was brand new . Watched lady with long blond hair literally ignore me over and over . She waited on others and then it was my turn and she pretended to be folding a Hard Rock t shirt and completely ignored me . Go to a kiosk and get a card instead . Waited and waited for a waitress to come around for a Diet Coke . Took over an hour after one mentioned “ I’ll be back with your Diet Coke “ Service … Not impressed . Also .. valet is 30.00 and waited over 1/2 hr for car to arrive

Even with a free stay, I really don’t know if I will be back. I am writing this review at 3am after being woken up once more from barking dogs. This is the second night in a row. The rooms are not soundproof. These “service” dogs are not service dogs to be barking continually through the night. I even happened upon barking dogs while playing slots in the casino. I understand the hotel cannot ask if the dog is legitimately a service dog, but for people to use the hotel as a doggie daycare and for the hotel to allow if is unacceptable. Do better.

Being somewhat local I stay at the Hard Rock several times a year. I usually have a decent stay -- win some, lose some. Mostly lose. But this recent stay I was very unhappy with the room, the lack of comps and the service. Even though my account says I qualify for a comp room, and it shows that I had comp room for the night I wanted when I went to book it on line it was gone and I had to pay $$$ -- too much for the type of room and property. But I had plans to meet up others there so I sucked it up and paid the $$$ too much. Check in was easy. But I noticed my TV didnt work - it appeared to be rebootong. I went to gamble for the night and returned to my room to relax and the TV still didnt work. I just went to sleep as it was late. The next morning the TV still didnt work so I tried to call the front desk. My phone didnt work. I figured it was a phone and TV outage so I used my cell phone to call the general phone number and was told they were not aware of any outage. They said they would send someone up. No one ever came. I went to the front desk to check out, and asked if there was an outage and they said no. I told them nothing was working and I got a blank stare and an "oh well" and he just handed me my bill and that was it. I said again that my TV and phone didnt work and they maintenance never came. That was followed by another non answer. He did nothing to make it right. I ended up paying $$$ for a room where the electronics didnt work and no one came to fix it. That is unacceptable.

Service was slow, no jumbo tron or viewing area for Super Bowl, despite having Sports betting, expected more, like good use of entertainment venue but disappointed. A bad plan to come to Hard Rock today. They only care about their Chinese slot machines. Not the biggest American pass time. Missed business opportunities for them. Missed viewing opportunity for hotel guests.

Beware don't try to achieve Icon status at Hard Rock tampa.. I did it in just a few months thinking I would get comps and benefits like I did as a 7 star with Harrahs. Casino. Don't get fooled like I did. I won't go back to Seminole hard Rock as they took everything I earned without my knowledge. And N̈oʻ benefits
