Tempe Mission Palms Hotel & Conference Center

My experience was great! The breakfast was wonderful and something different everyday. The staff were always helpful the rooms were always cleaned. 1 elevator was done but they still had 3 working so no biggie. Oh the snack shops were a life saver too.

Great location with super friendly staff. The grounds are well kept and beautiful, although the interior could use a refresh. Overall a nice place that’s in the heart of Tempe and a few minutes from the airport and Scottsdale. It’s also at the base of A Mountain so you can go on a hike right out the back door.

Tempe Mission Palms has a delightful blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. It was perfect for the 800 person conference in February - it could be formal, even elegant, but also comfortable. I spent a good amount time in my room preparing a presentation. It was a pleasant space in which to work.

I have stayed over 2000 nights at hotels in my lifetime and this is definitely top 3 worst stays ever. The hotel itself is looks nice, the valet staff and front desk staff is welcoming. The rooms are clean. However, it is now 1:30 am when I am writing this review and my room is literally shaking from the noise and bass levels from the music being played across the street at the bars. The walls here are paper thin and the windows do not block out any noise, I asked the hotel why is it so loud and they knew exactly what was happening and stated it doesn’t stop until 2 am when the bars close. They offered to move us to another room but facing the same direction in a double bed but this will obviously not only not resolve the noise jolting through our room but would be an inconvenience just to keep hearing the same noise. No where on the website or on the reservation confirmation does it disclose this noise nuisance which is clearly a standard regular occurrence according to the staff. The hotel has a regulatory and legal obligation to disclose and warn clients of this unacceptable noise level making it impossible to sleep. This has made it impossible to sleep. I even turned on a white noise app full blast but this does nothing to actually stop the constant bass and beats permeating the room. I think I finally experienced what hell feels like by staying at the Hyatt Mission Palms. Do not make the same mistake my wife and I made staying here. You will likely regret it if you do.

Great hotel. The restaurant inside the hotel has a great menu. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Everything is in walking distance. The courtyard is probably my favorite place to hang out and have a drink with friends and family. You won’t be disappointed.
