Beware of their customer support. We had a very disappointing trip with all sorts of problems, But what added insult to injury was that after a thoughtfully written feedback to their support - I got what was obviously written by an AI bot. Comments like, "we understand your concerns," and "we will work to improve things," etc. They had Construction going on right outside our "view" room, with workers swearing at each other and garbage being thown into bins all day long. Cable didn't work but they said "we'll have to talk to corporate because it can't be fixed here." Food service person simply left for the night when we asked for more wine. Car rental we ordered (they have an onsite Avis) actually was closed so we had to get an Uber to another location the next day. There was more - not the best trip for us by any means. But the AI bot response with aa bunch of fake sentiments tells me all I need to know - I'm taking Loews off my list of future hotels.

Our stay the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson is the epitome of peace and relaxation. There are many activities that one can engage in while at the resort, and they also have several restaurants to choose from. We really did not need to leave the resort while we were there. We enjoyed dining at the Flying V with its beautiful view of the resort. We also looked forward to breakfast at the Canyon Club, serving excellent breakfast choices every day. There are several short hikes around the area. The lobby always smells like a dream. The customer service is simply top-notch. We traveled to Loews for my birthday, and we received a beautiful tray of dessert once we got to our room. If I could travel annually for rest and relaxation, this would be it.

A very nice hotel. Would give 4.5 stars if I could. Upgraded to a luxury king room with a great city view. The room was big, modern and clean. Very comfy bed, but could have used a firmer pillow. It took a while to cool down the room, and the AC was a bit loud. I ate dinner at the bar, it was good but a bit slow and chaotic. Bar staff seemed to be scrambling quite a bit, and wrong items were delivered to me and my neighbor. Breakfast the next morning in canyon club was good. I would definitely stay again!

The front desk and valet staff were friendly and super helpful and overall it's a joy to stay at this property - especially with the great perks we get with FHR on Amex Platinum. The room was great and really quiet which is important. The front desk was helpful in getting my phone charger which I had delivered from Amazon. The fitness center is perfect - space to use weights, with 2 sets of dumbbells and a set of barbells, cable machines and plenty of cardio machines too. I only have a couple of minor things to share and one pretty big. Minor issues - there was a day where there was some weird purple looking stains which seemed to come up from the drain in the shower. We just cleaned it and it didn't come back. Also, would be good if they had a few car chargers. Just plugging in our charger into a plug didn't seem to charge our car. We didn't get the welcome amenity from FHR and had to ask for it twice before we got it. Would have been nice to just get it on arrival. The main issue we had was that the air conditioning did not work. We called twice for maintenance - the first time we weren't there and got a notice that it was fixed. It wasn't. So we called a second time and this time the maintenance guy came when we were there. He "fixed" it and told us it works as expected and it's old and we should just give it time. Well, I left the room for an hour and turned the air conditioning up to 90 degrees to try and get some heat in the room. It did nothing. If a 90 degree heater results in a cold room, and that's expected, then there's something wrong. I just didn't feel like dealing with yet another "expert" telling me I was wrong about the air conditioning not working so we managed by staying under the covers and wearing coats while in the room.

Fantastic service and amenities! The little hikes are wonderful for kids and the staff are all really kind and helpful. The koi pond is awesome for the kiddos! Totally recommend - and keep a look out for off-season specials on their website. Often cheaper than the booking sites. Just be aware the breakfast isn't included and can add quite a chunk of change to your stay. If you're lucky they sometimes offer discount packages that include meals, and their breakfast buffet is better than Vegas!
