Great hotel and the service is just amazing . If you connect with Johnny , the concierge “clés d’or”, you can not expect a better guide to plan your visit . And at the bar or at the Bob steak house, Yves and Bruno will make you drink or dinner experience unforgettable. Finding the best hotel can be a journey , but when you find such a nice hotel with such a great service and more importantly PEOPLE, you have to share your experience…

Stayed for one evening while on our drive back to Texas. My family and I stayed in a casita room and enjoyed the privacy. Room service was a bit pricey for the quality of food but that was expected. Everyone was very nice from the moment we walked in! We were pretty disappointed that we couldn’t stay longer to relax and enjoy the amenities.

We stayed 2 nites in Unit 410. The hotel is a very mixed bag of many little things and a few moderate items. I design 4 and 5 star hotels for major international brands, so when a hotel has even little issues, I notice. So first the good: 1. The Casitas are nicely redone and VERY roomy - almost too much wasted space. Decorated sparingly but nice design. The furnishings are contemporary and very comfortable, especially the bed and sofa. 2. It's obviously great for those into golf - the course is well maintained. 3. The area is not close to central Tucson and it's a 20-30 minute drive to almost anywhere, but it's a very nice area and the site feels comfortable and private. 4. The outdoor patio is nice and the lounge chairs comfortable. 5. The Spa facility was very nice. 6. the lobby lounge and bar is pleasant and comfortable and the staff friendly. Now the not so good. Admittedly some wouldn't even notice or care about these - but if you're touting a 4 star property and charging $260+ a night for the casitas (which is reasonable), these should be addressed. There are some clear issues and a number of head-scratchers: 1. When you arrive at the Hotel, there is not greeter or bellboy. You'll wait for a LONG time if you expect to be greeted and informed. I guess you're expected to carry your own bags to your room if you have the regular room but theres no sign that tells you that. For the casitas, theres no one there to tell you NOT to unload and that you'll be driving to the unit. Fine if you've been there before but not great if you unload expecting a bellboy, and then find out you have to RELOAD everything and drive to your room. 2. Signage directions to walk from the casitas to the main building Is non-existent, and the walkways is the same dimensions as a golf cart path. So is it a walk as well or only for golf? If you see other people walking on it, it becomes clear but it took us a day to get it. 3. Housekeeping is generally good, but there are a lot of little things. a. The shower head with the rubber nozzle nibs hadn't been touched in months, so half the nozzles were clogged and not working. many of the other nozzles were spraying out to the sides and were useless. I did a quick thumb rub of the nozzles and got them all working, but that should be checked every couple of weeks and maintained; b. there is a trash can in the bathroom/shower, but not in the sink/makeup counter area which makes for unneeded trips to the restroom; c. The toilet had a leak that caused the reservoir to refill every 3-4 minutes. A tremendous waste of water. 4. There is no facility folder or book that has all the amenities listed, restaurant descriptions and hours, and whether there is room service (we didnt see any indication there was, which seems odd for a 4 star property). You could call the front desk and ask, but it's just another step. 5, Theres a very nice tall dining table with stools, a kitchen sink, Keurig coffee maker, and a very nice commercial full-size commercial refrigerator. But with no cooktop, microwave, or room service, it seems pointless unless you bring your own cold serve food. If you want hot food in the room, it's not possible unless you do door dash or such. Our room also only had 3 plates, three cup saucers and 3 coffee cups. theres no utensils, bottle openers, or anything else. It has cabinet and drawer space for lots of stuff, but they're all empty. 6. I realize the hotel was stuck with the older casita layout, but theres lots of wasted space. A huge closet area (maybe for a 4 golf bags, several large travel bags and lots of other items which not many if any will need) but yet the toilet shower area is positively tiny - small sink , toilet, and roomy enough shower. But only towel hooks, not any towel rack. There was a very long wait for hot water - 3-5 gallons wasted for every shower in a desert. Tankless water heaters would be a better long term investment. 7. The Main pool is very dated and needs a major refresh. Definitely not 4 star. 8. The ancillary pool near the casitas is ok, but the flagstone paving, while nice, is missing grout, is uneven and is s trip hazard in several locations. 9. The tennis and pickleball courts are by reservation only, but since theres no resort book with that information, you can walk a long distance in the hot sun to the courts only to realize you have to go back to the room and call to reserve a court or hang around and hope something will open up . 10. The general landscape other than along the entry road needs a major refresh and update. Theres way too much water-sucking turf in areas that could be planted and would actually look better as desert landscape. between the casitas and the pond. 11. There is little signage in the hotel - for instance signs directing you to the restaurants which are on the lower level and accessible only after you go outside towards the pool area from the lobby. And the lower lobby seems barren and basically forgotten. 12. We barely saw any staff - it makes the hotel seem empty and a bit neglected.

The Omni has a fantastic spa and the staff is excellent. They enable you to feel spectacular and very special. No question went unanswered and they were very caring to ensure that each guest was very relaxed. Spend the day enjoying a sauna, steam room, facial, massage, manicure or pedicure- then you can swim in a beautiful pool or lounge alongside the water in the shade.

The Omni in Tucson is hands down the best ! I am here every 3 weeks , this is the only place to stay. All staff is very helpfull , and willing to go out of their way for you. The value is excellent for this spot. I would nt even think of staying at a different hotel
