Paradisus Varadero Resort & Spa

The tennis classes with Miguel at Paradisus Varadero are great, I recommend them. This is my first time in Cuba and it was perfect to visit Varadero, I love the beach and the service at the hotel. The dance classes with the entertainers on the beach are very fun.

3 star maxx. Stuff was amazing but every thing else was terrible. Water was not draining in shower or sink, water all over the floors , no ac , toilet not flushing, water running down the walls, mold , bugs, 0 check before you enter the room, take a shower and flood the main area. Changing rooms was super hard, food in the cafeteria was 2star ,surviving on butter bread and chicken legs. Same food every day. Bars don’t have stock. No wine in the evening, no mint herb for mojitos, snack bar has only ham and cheese sandwiches that are not properly cooked, ice has bacteria, don’t use please. Kids were sick for many days because of ice drinks. Please use water from bottles at all times. I will not go to same resort ever. Can’t bank, shop, or rent anything at the “resort “. Not 5 stars even close. Beach is full of bugs and sea weeds, mosquitoes are terrible after 5 pm, don’t open the balcony doors or you will never sleep as bugs crawl in. Valley ball area is full of spikes from the plants. No walkway lights at night, need to use a flush light. Entertainment is non existent. Super disappointed in this stay. Lower the price and bump it down to 3 stars, maybe it will work. Reviews aren’t posted as they should be, 5 stars reviews are posted only. Very disappointing. Don’t expect 5 stars treatment. Only people are amazing, conditions are sh..y. Cuba isn’t doing anything to improve, just getting worse. Sorry for the honesty.

Eniel and Oslaydi were such nice animators they were super awesome with us. I would definitely go to this hotel again, the staff and the people are super sweet and generous. Eniel is the best animator in this hotel he gave us the best dancing lessons.

I came to this place because of the good reviews and I'm leaving with a bad experience. Wrong room No hot water No ac inside the room during 2 days No ac inside the buffet during 3 days and not enough employees Lots of food and drink but not variety No communication Bad wifi, turns off every 10 mnts To finalize, the engine bay of my car is cleaner than the room or the dishes

Paradises Veradero is a beautiful resort! We had a wonderful time during our 2 week stay. Our room was very nice and had a swim up pool. The entertainment was great every night and the staff very friendly. We would especially like to mention Egle. She was so helpful during our stay! Always available to answers our questions and asking all the time if we needed anything. If we did she did everything to make it happen. She was always smiling and just a joy to talk to everyday! We will definitely come back to this resort because of wonderful workers like her.
