Metropole Hotel Venice

This was my second time staying at Hotel Metropole in Venice. I couldn’t be happier with the room, amenities and the price. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, proactive and comes through with activities recommendations and arrangements. They do treat you as a family and a dear friend. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values their experience and expects every moment to be memorable, comfortable and authentic… What a backdrop for all your cosplay 🤩❤️‍🔥🌹 Irene Van Celestine

3 nights from 13th Feb 2025-16th Feb 2025! All Staff super friendly & caring - Wanting to make sure everything was just right Housekeeping come in twice a dayturn bed down in the evening and replace with fresh towels Breakfast really enjoyable - double espresso or cappuccino included in the b&b price Food & drinks in the restaurant top quality & great service Quiet & dark bedrooms with comfy bed Our neighbours in room number 307 were very noisy for our first 2 nights (not the fault of the hotel ) so on our 3rd and last night we had the best nights sleep as they must have checked out We had the pleasure of meeting Gloria the owner who made sure we had brand new umbrellas for a rainy day ! Would definately return & hope to one day , thanks so much .

Fantastic 5 * location, great attentive staff but not really a 5 star hotel. Whole place is rather tired, very traditional decor (ok if that’s your thing) Bed very hard, walls paper thin (could hear everything our neighbours said), bedding quality could be better, was ok but duvet a bit ‘cheap’, all in all though fabulous location and nice hotel, breakfast good, staff make it a super enjoyable stay.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Metropole in Venezia and I highly recommend it. The hotel is exquisite in every way. The history, the comfort, the staff, the location, everything is taken to an exceptional caliber and worth a stay.

We had a really great stay here over Christmas 2024. Hotel and location are both very good. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Alda, who looked after the Breakfast service during our visit, was especially so - always charming and attentive. We had the Gala Dinner at the hotel on 24/12, which was very good, but there were also plenty of alternative restaurants open for business. Venice is great at Christmas, not least for the lack of crowds. For the most part everything is open, perhaps a bit less on Christmas Day itself, so what's not to like.
