Reviews for Metropole Hotel Venice

I Highly Recommend This Elegant and Amazing Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This is the second time I have stayed at the Metropole in Venezia and I highly recommend it. The hotel is exquisite in every way. The history, the comfort, the staff, the location, everything is taken to an exceptional caliber and worth a stay.

Christmas in Venice - Fantastic

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We had a really great stay here over Christmas 2024. Hotel and location are both very good. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Alda, who looked after the Breakfast service during our visit, was especially so - always charming and attentive. We had the Gala Dinner at the hotel on 24/12, which was very good, but there were also plenty of alternative restaurants open for business. Venice is great at Christmas, not least for the lack of crowds. For the most part everything is open, perhaps a bit less on Christmas Day itself, so what's not to like.

Luxurious and quirky hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

A truly wonderful hotel. It is in the heart of Venice, close to St. Marks Square. It is really quirky with antiques everywhere. We were celebrating a special Occasion and were upgraded to the Cherub suite which was breathtaking along with drinks in the bar. Thank you to the very welcoming manager. It is a really unique /non-chain hotel and it really made our trip to Venice special. Do arrive by water taxi from the airport such a special arrival.

Oriental Bar in the Hotel Metropol

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

My wife and I stopped into the Metropol Hotel Bar, The Oriental and had a wonderful time with the “Mixologist” Florian on a quiet Sunday afternoon, and watched him make some absolutely wonderful cocktails for us❤️ I had a Sazerac and my sweetie had the specialty of the house the “Metroporie” and they were both spectacular✅ Please do yourselves a big favor and stop in to see Florian and tell him Bill & Joanne from Alaska sent you! You’ll be happy you did🤗

Just perfectly wonderful

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

The hotel is just beautiful but more importantly the staff are beyond exceptional. They are super knowledgable, courteous, helpful and beyond customer focused. The rooms are great and comfortable. Food (both at hotel and room service) were wonderful and filling. They staff made sure we have private shuttle to Moreno and Boreno, back to the train station and dinner for the one night we were in town. I had the feeling there nothing they would not do, if asked. The room pricing is not cheap, but in my option, was worth it. And their friendliness would bring me bsck again and again.
