Venice, a captivating city which strikes the eye and moves the heart. Enveloped in the same magic, the Metropole offers you emotions involving all the senses. Eccentric, warm, eclectic, a place where the décor becomes an emotional experience, where each detail tells a story. A 5 star hotel that seduces and charms, a restaurant that surprises for its creative cuisine and the fame of its awards. Behind both of them, love, care and persistence. The resulting mood is incomparable. After all, here nothing happens by chance.

The hotel is just beautiful but more importantly the staff are beyond exceptional. They are super knowledgable, courteous, helpful and beyond customer focused. The rooms are great and comfortable. Food (both at hotel and room service) were wonderful and filling. They staff made sure we have private shuttle to Moreno and Boreno, back to the train station and dinner for the one night we were in town. I had the feeling there nothing they would not do, if asked. The room pricing is not cheap, but in my option, was worth it. And their friendliness would bring me bsck again and again.

Amazing place, a MUST VISIT, Oriental Bar the place where Vivaldi wrote the 4 seasons. Luxury and fantastic service. You get access to the canal at the side and you can see where Vivaldi used to teach. Managers Andrea and Florin are the BEST, they will show you around and tell you urban legends. Have a Spritz with Select...the Venetian drink and tell them Verokonda sent you. I promaise, ou are in for a treat ;) FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!!!

Outstanding accommodations and a helpful and conscientious staff. Centrally located next to the grand canal and a short walk from San Marco square. Only stayed 2 nights, but it was our second time there. We woild definitely stay here again!

Wonderful hotel and location with excellent service. Originally an orphanage and home to Vivaldi where he taught music to the children there; now a delightful hotel in a prime waterfront location, 5 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square. Beautifully decorated and furnished with comfortable beds and pillows, adjustable aircon and pristne bathroom with powerful shower. Excellent breakfast buffet with wide choice of fresh fruit, cheeses, cold cuts, cereals, hot dishes and homemade breads and pastries etc. Staff were first class and could not have been more charming and helpful - highly recommended for your stay in Venice

Bad reception service. Was asking where is the toilet and the reception did not answer the question. Instead he asked where did you learn to ask that question and chased us out of the hotel. Absolutely rude. Not recommended. I would still understand if he answered nicely that there was no toilet or the toilet is only for the hotel guess. But no! He decided to be rude and judgemental.
