Like the rainbow-hued houses in Curaçao's UNESCO World Heritage site capital, Baoase Luxury Resort embraces color in its five-star villas and rooms. Rich wood and jewel-toned accents make the transition from the king-sized bedroom to an airy patio surrounded by lush botanical gardens, creating a sense of peaceful continuity.

From the arrival to departure, someone was always ready to help us when we needed anything. The villa we stayed at was absolutely stunning. We loved the access to the pool. Jeroud who checked us in was really nice and very professional. All the staff were also very warm and welcoming. Thank you for welcoming us at the gate upon arrival and seeing us off at departure. It really warmed our hearts. Outstanding customer services and stunning resort! We’d definitely love to go back!

The total opposite of the noisy, crowded, 24/7 commotion of the cruise ships in the harbor or large commercial hotels. From the moment you step into Baoase the warm smiles and tropical surroundings create an atmosphere making it hard to leave. A private, quiet beach, surrounded by palms, Michelin level cuisine, Balinese style suites with private pool and great ocean views - this is a very special place for the experienced traveler or someone who knows how to relax and allows time to stand still. Don't tell anyone about it - I want to be able to get a room there again.

The moment we arrived we decided to it was not the place for us. The surrounding location is run down. Not within walking distance to town The room we had was crowded with stuff. King sized canopy bed, mirrored ceiling, in a small room. S & M toys in a black unmarked box for $175. (Classlessness personified) The beach front is obviously manufactured. The Indian food was awesome, terrific wait staff, but something was off and we cut our stay and went to Avila for the remainder of our time in Curacao. All I can say is that if this your idea of a dream you need to dream bigger.

A beautiful property on a lovely island. We drove down an unimpressive city street, parked, and entered through the large wooden door into a lush tropical property. It is beautifully maintained, the service was exceptional, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room (the Bayan) was large, very comfortable, and everything worked fine. Our personal outdoor shower and tub were awesome. The hotel sits on a rocky shoreline, but a large lagoon has been created for very pleasant swimming, and even some snorkeling. Everything is first-class. There were always plenty of lounges, towels, free snorkeling and diving equipment, drinks available, and I'm sure many other things that guests want. The bartenders were great fun, and made scrumptious tropical drinks. The only small disappointment was the restaurant, which we thought was good, but below the quality of the Hotel. The wine list was OK, but very expensive, even taking into account shipping and storage challenges. Our first night was seafood night, and our meals were rescued by fresh Caribbean lobsters, of which there were only a few available. It was perfectly prepared, and rather expensive, but worth it. Other dishes didn't impress. Our second night was Italian Night, and we thought the pasta dishes were mediocre. The next two nights we ate in fine restaurants in town. Don't hesitate to drive in Curacao. Parking at the hotel is free and very convenient, rental cars cheap, and driving as easy as in the U.S. There are virtually no motorbikes - a curse on some Islands. Curacao is an affluent place, and everyone has a car. Be sure to drive (or take a taxi) down to the old town near the large floating bridge. It is fascinating, and the old, colorful buildings are a feast for the eyes. We drove around the entire Island, and there were a variety of sightseeing stops, and fine beaches on the west end. All in all, a first rate place.

Highly recommend. I believe one of the best Hotels in Curacao. The hotel has an excellent selection of food and top notch. The attention to customer service is amazing. The resort is clean, not crowded, amazing pools, beach beds with butler service at your needs. Although, it’s a bit overpriced compared to other resorts I’ve been to. However, if staying in Curacao this would be my number one recommendation. Had an amazing time.
