By far, the most friendly staff we have EVER met. The location and the property were absolutely perfect! The rooms were AMAZING, and everyone from the front desk to the garden to the restaurant to the housekeeping truly made us feel like family. The fact that they bring a homecooked breakfast to your door every morning, let you roam the chicken coop, llama’s enclosure, and their garden tells you how “at home” you are going to feel. There is also a trail on the property that leads you to a breathtaking ocean view. We came to Mendocino on our honeymoon roadtrip for two nights, and we loved it so much that we booked a third night before we had to check out. We will absolutely be coming back to SCP Mendocino Inn and Farm without a doubt for our anniversary if we can even wait that long!

Super cool place and friendly staff. Love the vibe and location and cozy rooms. Terrific location adjacent to the State Park (with direct connect trail) and lots of space to roam the premises and relax. Perfect place to stay when visiting Mendocino!

We had a lovely stay at the Mendocino Inn and Farm. Our Ocean View Jr. Suite was in the East Farmington room (in the Stevenscroft building). This room has a lot of windows and great light. We looked right out onto the amazingly beautiful garden and had a distant view of the ocean. The staff delivered a delicious breakfast to our door every morning, the king-size bed was extremely comfortable, and the wood fireplace (which we used every night) was a treat. The bathroom, which is large, has a tiny stall (but the shower is nice). The wifi, as reported in some of the other comments, was sketchy and not always reliable. There is no refrigerator or microwave in this room, but both are located in a small kitchenette also in the building (handy but not very convenient). We wished for a larger table (the little round table in the room was quite small), and a shelf on which we might have placed belongings. The staff was extremely accommodating; the restaurant in the lodge building had some amazing pizza; and the grounds, complete with a trail to the beach, are gorgeous. Mendocino itself is quaint with a lot of good restaurants and shopping. We had a fabulous dinner at Trillium – and be sure to eat outside at Patterson’s.

What a cool vibe at this hotel. We loved everything about our stay. The bedding & mattress were amazing. I want to find out the brands!! The staff was attentive to our needs which we appreciated tremendously. The llamas were fun to watch from our mini deck. A quick drive to the quaint village of Mendocino to shop & dine and gorgeous beaches along the way. We did drive the PCH which was a little terrifying in spots but breathtaking. I wish we stayed longer.

We had a wonderful stay at this unique property. We were in the area for a wedding in Elk, CA and looked for nearby accommodation. This inn caught our eye because of the chance to stay at a property with animals. We loved feeding the chickens (the inn has feed and little bags at the check-in area) and watching the llamas roam in the pastures from our window -- we were in the Bayview room, and you could also see the ocean from the window and drink coffee on the little porch as well. (One note about the Bayview room is that it doesn't have a TV, so if you like to watch TV at night, bring your tablet or computer). All of the staff were very friendly and it was very obvious that a lot of care and hard work goes into maintaining the property -- it was clean and beautiful with wonderful gardens. The farm-fresh breakfast was such a nice touch (featuring an egg dish with the eggs made by the chicken on the property!) we really appreciate all the care that goes into making it and delivering it right to the doorstep.

This place was just what I needed! It was my first time to Mendocino and I so happy to have found Glendeven. How great it was not to hear cell phones and TV noise. We enjoyed our walks to the coast and seeing the birds, rabbits and deer. I hope to be back many times in my life. What a treat it is for body, mind and soul.
