New Harmony Inn

This is a fine place to stay. The rooms are comfortable as is the bed. The bathroom and bedroom were spotless as was the common area. The hotel is not a 5 star place but they don't charge 5 star prices. It is a very reasonable place to stay. I was checked in very promptly and professionally. The hotel had nice hiking trails behind the building and a fantastic town to explore in front. I was traveling alone on this trip but will come back in the future with my wife.

New Harmony Inn fits the bill if you are looking for peaceful relaxation. The accommodations are simple and cozy. The inn offers simple decor with hardwood floors, muted tones, and Harmonist-style furnishings. The beds and linens are plush and warm. My accommodations were located in the Rosebank building, were equipped with an electric fireplace, and offered a view of the lake and walking trails. The interior hallways and stairwells could use a little sprucing up. A workout facility, sauna, and pool house with spa are on the grounds. I did not use the workout facility or sauna, so I cannot comment. The pool house was a welcome oasis of warmth during my January stay. I had the pool all to myself! An onsite restaurant, The Red Geranium, offers fine casual dining with a bar. Several shops, historic sites, and local restaurants are all within walking distance. New Harmony is a welcoming community, and I instantly feel at home when I visit. It is a place to seek peace and tranquility. New Harmony is not your place if you like the hustle and bustle. The inn and community are perfect for a solo retreat or quiet couples getaway.

disappointed i didn't see any ghost there was a fantom fly i kept feeling what felt like a fly on my leg but didn't see one on my leg or in the room. the place was nice staff was friendly. very nice town with a lot of history.

This was a lovely hotel. Quite comfortable, excellent air conditioning, very nice toiletries, reusable mugs and glasses in place of disposable, easy and friendly check in and check out. We loved the New Harmony area and out stay at New Harmony Inn. We highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time at this charming inn. The rooms were clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly. I was impressed with the fact that they supported the local economy by having locally made soap samples in the room. We had a loft room with a fireplace. We loved the balcony overlooking the lake. I would highly recommend the New Harmony Inn for couples and for families.
