Rude clerk at the desk. Unable to explain charges. Not dog friendly! Charge $80 per day. That’s not dog friendly! No mention of that fee when I booked. It was added later…then additional taxes n fees were added for the dog fees. What is a convention fee?? I didn’t attend a convention! The dog had to pay a convention fee!!! The original price was $243. Ended up w total over $400.

Wedding (bride and groom), staying in the presidential suite. For a 4-star hotel, we were surprised with how worn and aged the rooms and furniture all were. Fireplace would not light without service so we had two days without its use. In-room air conditioning worked but made loud squealing sounds throughout the night that made it harder to sleep unless you turned it off. Rooms have very little natural light. Two curtains in the room seem from photos like they would be covering windows, but they are only walls. Amenities were minimal, and prices quite high. Example of prices: if you want any coffee other than keurig coffee with chlorinated sink water, you need to order room service from the restaurant. Two cups (filled only 3/4 of the way) and two small glasses of orange juice was $25.

I enjoyed the time at the Beechwood. Easy to check in nice room and good location proximate to UMass. Staff was friendly and hospitable - Gigi was very helpful one morning as I was looking for breakfast. The front desk and other teams were nice.

The Beechwood Hotel was great, the overnight front desk guy was beyond great. The restaurant was pretty good too. The server Ann was fabulous. Thank you.

As a hotel general manager, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of personality upon arrival in both the decor and staff. The accommodations were superior and offered every amenity including Frette linens. Certainly the owner spared no expense in furnishings and refinements. By far the best rooms in the 'City of Seven Hills'! The Beechwood Hotel was an outstanding experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend this hotel.
