All the server are nice most specially Enrique. In our activities Alma, Alexis and Lupillo were great. We enjoy everything except the bite of mosquitoes.’ 😊 The air-con in our room is not cold enough most specifically at night time we’re sweating but the temperature is 18’ and lots of mosquitoes inside the room even though the door was close all the time.

We had a wonderful, amazing, unforgettable time at your resort! Thank you for everything, and hope to see you soon at the same Resort.

My brother and I booked a stay at this resort for our parents’ 40th anniversary. At no point were we informed that the resort was undergoing construction, nor that half of the restaurants would be closed. Unfortunately, I only discovered this after my parents had already checked out. They requested either a transfer to another resort within the same chain or a refund, but their request was denied. As a result, they did not reach out to me for further assistance. It is disappointing that the resort management appeared to prioritize occupancy and revenue over the guest experience.

The best food and service in the Yucatan! They have so much staff that you are never wanting for anything. The food is top shelf and we have tried many different resorts. In fact the last time we went, we had reservations at another resort. We stayed one night and ate three meals and the food was so bad that we moved back to trace Rio because we knew it was excellent. Don’t miss out on this ultimate luxury experience.

Staff is excellent however property needs a little bit of maintenance knowing that they will operate under IHG as a Kimpton property will definitely give it the boost the property needs. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay fully. From the arrival to the airport everything went as expected. We had our transportation ready to take us to the hotel. Bryan our concierge was very informative and explained everything we needed to know, including our options for outdoor activities. Jose at pool bar, crew at Il Forno was also very good. Special thanks to the Alebrije crew (Janet, Jorge, Concepcion, Ana, Astrid and Laura). We visited Hacienda Grill and the food was great (thank you Miguel for a great dinner on our last night). Special mention to our servers at Porto Bello , the restaurant is beautiful and food is awesome. Highly recommended!!! Overall it was a great stay and can’t wait to see it once Kimpton takes over. Thanks for an awesome vacation.

My wife and I took the four-night package in August and really got our money's worth! The service from the entire staff was phenomenal. The nature activities, including biking and kayaking through the terrain and rivers, are not to be missed. The beach was beautiful. The complimentary wind surfing boat ride was very special. The quality and quantity of food available was amazing and I am a NYC food snob! And the top shelf liquor was always available! I could go on... Visit this property!!
