Cosy and unique in fantastic quiet location
Lovely little home away from home in Amsterdam. Conscientious and helpful staff. Always a pleasure to see Peter at the door so helpful with whatever we need. Very nice made to order breakfast. Handsome spaces. We have stayed in many rooms and they are all a bit different. Love the first floor rooms with big windows. Luxurious Marie Stella Maris bath products. Fantastic location. Easy to pick up a tram just out the door. Close to Museumplein. Close to Vondelpark.

Short stay in Amsterdam
The hotel is really cozy and comfortable the staff is fantastic. Peter the porter was extremely helpful and made sure our luggage was in the room. Since we got there too early to get our room. He remembered us by name and greeted us every day. Yulee and Fabizio were also very friendly and helpful, made the check out easy and help us getting a ride to the airport. Will definitely recommend this hotel and will come back next time in Amsterdam.

Good experience and beyond expectations
Very friendly stuff especially Peter very helpful to explain and friendly. The room is clean. Breakfast nice choices and I like the pancake a lot. Just watch out the portion is big as well. Location convenient and you can have a walk to center.

Great escape spot in Amsterdam
We were visiting Amsterdam for the first time and looking for a nice place to stay that was outside the main tourist attractions, but still close enough to a lot of walkable places—the College Hotel worked out perfectly. I’d addition to the nice location, this boutique-like, college dorm inspired hotel was a fun change of pace to stay in. Also, staff was very nice and accommodating. Both Christine at the breakfast bar as well as the doorman were two particular employees that stood out, although all staff generally were great. We had the included breakfast with our stay as elite/ambassador Marriott Bonvoy members and it was well worth it, just make sure to give yourself ample time in advance if you plan to order food, as one day it came too late for us to enjoy it (they made up for it each day after though, so not a big deal since the buffet is great too). Would highly recommend this place for those visiting.

Great stay!
We had a great experience during our stay, our room (the Junior Suite) was exceptional and the service we received during the course of our stay was amazing. A special mention to Peter who was extremely helpful and a very friendly person! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great hotel in Amsterdam, with a historic touch.
