Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas

Absolutely wonderful time had during our stay especially excursions through the dive shop snorkelling on the home reef and two nearby islands. We saw six turtles and five sharks and a moray eel. So exciting and thrilling. Did the trip to Hanifuru Bay twice because it was so awesome and swam with 30-40 Manta Rays. The food and customer service at all five restaurants is outstanding especially the underwater restaurant. Walks on the beach are a must and the bikes to ride around the island are alot of fun. Really enjoyed the Orchid Garden and two trips to the Spa for a massage and facial. Wonderful greeting on arrival and send off on our last day made us feel very special. Staff are all super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home and as a treasured guest. Facilities such as the 24 hour gym, boxing ring, rock climbing wall. tennis court with professional tennis coach and dive centre with the most amazing and accommodating staff are a must to experience. A definite highlight was the jet skis to the sand bar and back plus our sunset cruise where we had a large pod of dolphins bow surf with us. So amazing and keen to go back and do it all again. The resort manager and head chef are also amazing and extremely friendly on a regular basis and make you feel special.

We had the most wonderful stay at Anantara Kihavah. Staff friendly - Arlene and Ebram were so helpful and went out of their way to make our experience memorable. Great diving and snorkeling at the house reef. We did the night dive experience and manta experience - both incredible and worth while. Food was delicious - especially enjoyed Fire Tempanyaki. We stayed in both beach and overwater villas - both were incredible but preferred overwater. The marine life we saw from our villa alone was incredible - sharks, sting rays and turtles all beneath us. Absolute paradise and would go back again and again.

After extensive research, we chose Anantara Kihavah for our honeymoon, and it truly exceeded our expectations. There was something uniquely special about the resort that stood out to us, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! The resort strikes the perfect balance between luxury and relaxation, which was exactly what we were looking for. A special shout-out to our villa host, Piyal, who made our stay unforgettable. He was the kindest and most attentive host we could have asked for. His thoughtful planning made our days seamless, while also ensuring we had plenty of activities to enjoy. Each morning, Piyal would craft a personalized itinerary for us, making sure we experienced everything the island had to offer. And when we needed anything—from reservations to even a doctor—he arranged it in mere minutes, which was incredibly comforting. We’re truly grateful for all he did and miss him already! He truly felt like part of our family during the week, making our stay feel even more special and personal. From the moment we landed at the airport to the time we checked in for our departure, Anantara Kihavah (and Piyal) took exceptional care of us. The level of service throughout our stay was nothing short of outstanding. Some highlights from our trip that we absolutely loved: The Villa: The size and comfort of our villa were perfect for a relaxing getaway. With plenty of space, we never felt confined and enjoyed plenty of time lounging and swimming at our private pool. The House Reef and Snorkeling: The snorkeling opportunities here are second to none. We joined the Manta Ray Escapade and the Turtle Snorkeling experience, both of which were unforgettable and made for some of the best memories of our trip. Dining: The resort offers an incredible variety of dining options. We had an amazing time at the underwater restaurant, where we dined surrounded by marine life. FIRE, the resort’s open-kitchen restaurant, was another highlight. The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was so unique. The Spa: Pure bliss. Each visit to the spa left me feeling completely rejuvenated. We also loved the complimentary wellness workshops, such as breathwork and sound baths, which added a special touch to our experience. Nur's (the spa receptionist) warm hospitality truly made us feel so welcome. The spa therapist who treated us to the foot ritual on our arrival at the villa was an absolute sweetheart. Her gentle touch, yet firm pressure and calming presence set the perfect tone for our stay, and we felt so pampered from the moment we arrived at the resort. Activities: There’s so much to do here! Whether it was snorkeling the house reef, working out at the sports center, playing tennis, or attending the local culture day with music and bonfires, we were never short of things to enjoy. The island itself is absolutely stunning, with pristine nature that feels almost otherworldly. If you’re looking for a slice of paradise, Anantara Kihavah is truly the place to be. In fact, it’s the first time I’ve ever cried when leaving a resort (and yes, that’s true!) Spent 10 days with my wife at Anantara Kihavah and we had an amazing experience. From arrival to departure, the Anantara team gave us personal, genial and professional attention like we’ve never experienced before. We loved that there is no traditional check-in or checkout. On arrival we were met by our own personal assistant who looked after us during our entire stay. He organised all our bookings from restaurants, spa treatments and even in-room dining. If we needed anything we just messaged him. The island is beautiful and you really get to experience being in UNESCO reserve, both in and out of the water. We had stingrays feeding next to our water villa, we saw a manta ray while snorkelling, and lost count on the amount of reef fishes and corals we saw. We also got to experience some of the best food we have had, including a 5 course caviar and champagne pairing dinner at their stunning underwater restaurant (highly recommended). Thank you to the entire Anantara team for making this such a memorable stay. We loved your personal attention and hope to see you again soon again!

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The location is amazing, our over water villa was stunning and all the staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The villa was spectacular. So beautiful…we never wanted to leave it. Our villa host, Jambe, was great. He helped arrange everything while we were there and was always available when we needed something. All the rest of the staff we encountered were always helpful and, in particular, we want to mention Saad, Reji, Jenif, Chelsea, Vishnu and Jalle at the restaurant Manzaru. We felt like we had made a new set of friends by the time we left and it made us even sadder when we had to go. Thanks guys. All in all it was a trip of a lifetime and we really hope we can make it back one day.
