We stayed at Ayana Resort on the west wing, ocean view room in front of the mini golf course and villas. It was first time here so we were just blown away with the scale of the resort and facilities. The spa is world class, restaurants brilliant and pools amazing. The staff were very hospitable and helpful. One thing to mention that I was most impressed with is - All the toilets in the resort are equipped with japanese-style washlets and are air-conditioned!

Having just stayed at the Ayana Komodo in Labuan Bajo, we found the Ayana Bali Resort a notch up again ! It was truly spectacular. Our ocean view room was out of this world with an extremely comfortable bed along with all the other great amenities. The grounds were amazing and beautifully kept with excellent running tracks and a very well equipped gym. My partner and I had several spa treatments during our stay and the spa complex was highly impressive. The restaurants were varied and of high quality and no fewer than 14 swimming pools to choose from ! One bit of feedback however was our dining experience at the world famous Rock Bar. The venue is without doubt astonishing but we found the service appalling, the food diabolical and the general attitude of the staff stand offish and arrogant. Strangely this was a completely different experience from the rest of the resort. It seemed that the staff had forgotten who their customers were. There was no direction and the prices bing charged were disgraceful. When visiting the Rock Bar, do not go there for dinner and certainly don't have any imported drinks - including their flat, warm Taittinger at USD 40 a glass. I had mentioned it was my partner's birthday when booking but not only were we given one of the worst tables but no acknowledgement of here birthday at all. Singularly unimpressive. Too many extremely very young, badly trained waiting staff (with attitude) who didn't seem to give a damn.

I would recommend this! Very nice experience with Wulan and Wanda. They guided us through an authentic Balinese dress-up session that was both educational and fun. From the moment we arrived, their warm hospitality set the tone for the experience. They explained the cultural significance of each element of traditional Balinese attire, making the session not just about dressing up but also about understanding the beauty of Balinese traditions.

PROs: Views and amenities. This resort is breathtaking from any angle! The tram is great as you get hop on and off the different pools ans restaurants and it ends pretty late. Breakfast: Toge was chaos for breakfast! Way too many people and no sense of order from the waiting staff. Segara breakfast made up for the experience and we continued having breakfast until we left. Great service, and variety of food We chilled at the Unique rooftop and bar as all as the Ocean pool - the food and cocktails at both places were incredible. Definitely on the pricier side but absolutely worth it. Booked a sunset picnic with amazing food and exceptional service- however, the positioning meant we weren’t going to see the sunset which defeats the purpose so we rushed to the beach club and the waiter set us up there quite well. The manager at After rock and overall service was also exceptional! They really made my husband’s birthday a night to remember. The spa pool was also something out of this world. What a memorable experience. Overall, Ayana was exceptional and my husband will definitely come back again to visit other restaurants and pools. CONs: Rock bar queues are just insane and the service and food quality really let down the experience. The superior was defensive when we said their burgers and chips were not fresh and he gave us a bottle of water as an apology - very disappointing after an amazing 4 days there. The hallways at RIMBA don’t even have fans let alone aircons in 35 degree weather and humidity. Definitely unacceptable for a 5 star place. The room aircon to walking down the hallway was so confusing for the body. I would consider golf carts within the resorts association there a lot of stairs which is quite uncomfortable in the heat ans humidity, carrying bags, etc

I had the loveliest night with my fiancee in Ayana. We booked a candle light dinner in Bale Kencana and the whole package experience was satisfactory. Kudos to Mr. Dika who served and assisted us throughout the night very nice. Since the start, the area was decorated beautifully, we had delightful meal from appetizer, to dessert were all left us adequate. Thank you, Ayana. It was a pleasant experience.
