Kupu Kupu Barong

Great service, treated like a king and queen. Rooms are very spacious and luxurious. Aircon in all areas of villa. Fresh towels and water everyday aswell as pool cleaned. Gorgeous views from villa overlooking the valley and river below. Food was delicious. Lovely stay. Karsana was a great host.

We were taken back by the hidden location from the road and the beauty the hotel is set upon. The hospitality from the staff was exceptional. Dewa and Karsana the restaurant managers, kitchen, front desk and housekeeping staffs were extremely helpful, always greeted all guests with a smile and were super attentive. After nearly a week here we extended an extra day. This hotel makes the stay bit special and easier due to the little add ons that goes a long way (my husband has a nut allergy) and they took care of it. Buffet breakie to afternoon tea when you crave a sugar hit. Then they refill waters in the early evening at your room all makes the experience that bit more special…… defo worth checking out….. :)

Wow sums up our experience of this wonderful hotel & spa located very conveniently for exploring Ubud & the surrounding area. The view from the resort & our duplex pool villa can only be described as a be amazing over looking the lush jungle & tour able to see right down to the river. Food and service was fantastic and we would also throughly recommend a visit to the spa. Our special thanks and recommendation had got to go out to Karsana & the restaurant team who took such good care of us & especially Edhy who collected us from the airport & who also assisted us with being a fabulous guide

We had the best time in kupu kupu barong. This place is magical and the view is extraordinary ! Many thanks to all the hotel team they were very nice and a specific thanks to our wonderful waiter Karsana whom is a sunshine to the la view restaurant, very caring and smiling and our tour guide who is very passionate . We had a blast, thank you !!

The hospitality was good and the room was nicely designed with good surroundings. Also the swimming pool was well maintained and was clean. The forest around the room make it a splendid visit for us . My kid like the bath tub and swimming pool. Had a great visit.
