Ohla Eixample

Excellent stay - the hotel is excellent in all the ways you want it to be - location is good and convenient , reception team are helpful , friendly and welcoming, breakfast has a good selection and is freshly prepared and the staff are great, rooms are comfortable we booked a junior suite which was really worth it as it was a lovely size and very comfortable. Pool is small but kept nicely and is very clean. We ate in the Japanese restaurant on arrival - food was interesting and enjoyable and there was a well curated wine and sake list.

Visited twice in December pre and post cruise (latter also family birthday).Front desk amazing. Gave us early check-in post cruise as well as upgrade to room.Not ouir first stay at Ohla Eixample, but we regard it as our first choice hotel in Barcelona for location, luxury and quality of front desk .

Small, friendly hotel in a good location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great to have pillow choice but the bed was really hard. Too hard for us for a good night sleep. Breakfast was lovely and staff super attentive. There is a good selection of continental and things cooked fresh like omelettes. We didn’t use the pool or gym facilities.

I do not often write reviews on hotels. Usually they have pluses but also minuses so there seems little point to point them out. Ohla Eixample is the exception that proves the rule. Before we arrived we received a message from the guest support team asking what our plans were. We were en route to India a belated 70th birthday celebration and planned a couple of days exploring Barcelona. We were then asked to completed a form stating what type of pillows, sheets and fragrances! A congenial arrival, having checked in on line. In our room was a complimentary bottle of cava and a personalized note welcoming us. Now the important part, we have never stayed in a room so quiet. The bed was mega comfy. The staff throughout the hotel from the chambermaids to the doormen to the reception desk were very friendly and helpful. Often enquiring as to how we were and what we were going to do. An outstanding hotel with the highest of standards.
