Reviews for Boston Harbor Hotel

Service is the star of the show.

We stayed at the Boston Harbor Hotel for a mix of business and pleasure, and it was a fantastic stay. Well-appointed rooms, comfortable bed and linens, ample towels and Diptyque bath products — but the service was the real winner here. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful — we felt taken care of from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We will definitely be back!

Great location

Wow, this hotel is so amazing, first, it’s only 10 mins by Uber to the hotel and when you got to the hotel, there’s a bell man to take your luggage and everything is taken care of! The location is so centrally located that it wasn’t far from anything! We walked everywhere! Saw all the major sights and we did the freedom trail!

five-star service all around

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

I had booked this hotel on a whim on Hotwire for a great deal. We only stayed one day and were treated like royalty. In my experience, booking through a discounted third party can leave you with subpar treatment - however, this was NOT the case. My boyfriend and I had a 5-hour red-eye flight and didn't sleep well on the plane. We were fully prepared to drop off our luggage and fight the sleep until time for check-in. At about 8 AM, we asked if we could drop off our bags, and the front desk told us they had rooms available for us if we wanted to check in now. The lobby was so quiet during check-in that I felt a bit awkward (not used to that). I didn't realize how tired we were until we flopped onto the comfiest bed on the 10th floor - with a beautiful view of the skyline. After our nap, we utilized the complimentary (one-way) ride to get to Newbury St and the driver gave us some fantastic recommendations. The late-night room service was great, reasonably priced, and the room was spacious and clean. I don't frequent 5-star hotels often, and when I do I try to find the best deal. I guess I'm a bit of a 'bougie on a budget' type of girl. I go to Boston about once a year and I can't imagine myself staying anywhere else. I'm not the best people watcher, but in the middle of July - this place was booked and busy. Kids and families are more than welcome. I noticed that the target audience is a bit older demographic than myself (early 20s) and the very refined ambiance of the hotel definitely matched that. I feel as though the staff are younger, professional, and very considerate of all the details. This place is accommodating, kind, and giving in all the best ways. I would 100% pay full price to stay here again and expect to do so in the future.

Wonderful Hotel with Amazing Harbor Views

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

My family and I spent one night at the Boston Harbor Hotel on a recent trip and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and it is so convenient to many Boston attractions. The staff was extremely friendly - from the valets to the front desk staff. We had a room on the 11th floor with a beautiful view of the harbor. We were assigned an accessible room, which had positives (lots of room) and negatives (the bathroom door opened/closed automatically, the shower curtain was too short and the bathroom floor got quite wet). The room had two double beds. Since my sister and I shared a bed, and we are both pretty small, it wasn't a problem, but it may be challenging for larger/taller guests. The bed was VERY comfortable. There was a desk, a Nespresso machine with a variety of pods, and a well-stocked mini-bar, but no refrigerator where food or drinks could be stored. Complimentary cans of water were included. Being an accessible room, the bathroom was very spacious. There was plenty of counter space on the vanity. The shower included both a rainfall shower head and a hand-held shower. The toiletries included with the room seemed to be very high-quality. At bedtime, our beds were turned down, and slippers, face and hand cream were provided for two of us. It was a very nice surprise. In spite of the fact that there was a band playing downstairs, the room was very quiet. Early in the morning, I walked downstairs and watched a beautiful sunrise at Rowe's Wharf. We enjoyed walking to the many nearby attractions and restaurants. It was a wonderful stay and I wish we could have spent all three nights at the Boston Harbor Hotel.
