An honest review

Booked 2 deluxe rooms. They were very clean and spacious but the bathrooms and furniture were dated and there was a problem with the air conditioning in one of the rooms. Rooms had lovely views at the front of the hotel with the sea in the distance. Breakfast could only be described as a disaster. Very small quantities and a limited selection of food sitting out and once empty there was a long wait to get refilled....wasn't even busy. It just appeared that staff didnt want to put out more food. Same went for the drinks..orange juice jugs would only get half refilled and so emptied very quickly and then it was a long wait to get more. We actually came away from breakfast still hungry. The older lady working at breakfast was nice and accommodating however the younger girl with long dark hair was extremely rude , very unwelcoming and never smiled ...she was actually quite intimidating and made us feel very uncomfortable if we asked for anything that had run out in the breakfast buffet. The swimming pool was beautiful and it was very easy to get a sun lounger to relax on. Definitely the best part of the hotel. On entering the reception to the left is a large room with a bar area but it was completely empty each evening with no music or entertainment. The outside bar area was also empty so we just went back to our rooms each evening. Given the very disappointing breakfast we didn't try the restaurant for dinner but instead travelled into Cannes.

Non loin du Suquet cet hôtel reste une bonne alternative pour des déplacements sur la baie de Cannes. Chambre relativement petite ,cousin de mauvaise qualité . Personnel pas très expressif, l'adition est a régler dès la prise de clé ,plutôt étonnant. Cadre de vie très sympathique dans une ambiance décalée du temps style baroque.

We stayed two nights at this hotel in August. Upon arrival, we noticed our room’s air conditioner was not functional. We spoke to reception and they came to check and confirmed it was on. We left for a couple of hours, leaving the air conditioner on full fan, hoping to cool the room. On our return, the room was even warmer so we asked to be moved to another room. The room we were moved to was a staff space and had no light, an unclean bathroom, a mouldy smell and holes in the plaster on the walls. But it did have a working air conditioner and by this time of afternoon, we were not able to find an affordable alternative hotel so we agreed to stay. We were told by the reception staff that we would discuss a refund in the morning with the manager. The next day when we asked to speak to the manager, we were told she had left for the day. We asked the receptionist to please call her to confirm our refund. Over the phone, she confirmed that we would be reimbursed for our stay the following day. As we went to check out the following morning, we were told that the manager doesn’t work on Mondays and as we had a plane to catch, we had to take the receptionists word that it would be sorted on Tuesday. It has now been three weeks and we have sent a dozen emails which go unanswered. The few times we have been able to have a phone call answered, we face the same excuse of the manager not being there. I am imploring the manager to please get in contact with me about this issue. In the meantime, if you’re considering staying here - I’d choose somewhere else.

Som jeg kan se flere har oplevet, så virkeret vores aircondition ikke på værelset da vi kom og det vidste medarbejderne godt. Vi fik dog hjælp og blev rykket til et andet og bedre værelse dagen efter. Vi blev trukket 48 euro for en morgenmad som vi ikke fik, man kunne tydligt se det ikke var min underskrift (de havde min underskrift fra tidligere morgenmad kvitteringer ). Så det var nogle andre som havde bestilt i vores værelses nummer. Jeg har skrevet flere gange til hotellet omkring at de skal sende mine penge tilbage og vi aftalte det også med medarbejderne ved tjek-out fra hotellet. Jeg får intet svar fra dem og nu er der gået 15 dage siden vi forlod hotellet. En skam den måde hotellet bliver drevet på.

Если вы ищите тишины - вам сюда! Чудесный небольшой отель на окраине Канн. Тишина. Покой. С небольшим собственным садом. Номера - стилизованные. Очень приятные сотрудники. Берите завтраки, они каждое утро на веранде. И ужины тоже посетите! Сет меню, веранда, шеф и вы. Мне понравилось всё. Стиль. Оформление. Тишина в номере. На территории есть бассейн. Если не хотите на море, можно просто полежать с книгой. Жила 9 дней. Как в загородном доме😍 Впервые выбрала такой формат. И очень довольна!
