The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel

Randi was the absolute best! She made the stay at the ritz Carlton even better. She was very knowledgable about the food and drink menus. She gave great suggestions. She went above and beyond. I have come back on multiple occasions just to get her as my server / bartender.

Randi was the most amazing bartender that we encounter in a lot time!! She was way and beyond to make our time experience unbelievable, such a pleasure, and congratulations the RC to have such wonderful asset, thanks Randi 👏👏 for sure will comeback!!

We stayed here over a weekend and it was a fantastic stay! Staff was super friendly and helpful, and one of the guys at the valet stand gave us really great restaurant suggestions (which we did end up trying!). We had a fireside oceanfront room and the view was fantastic and we used the firepit every night. They even included a complimentary s'mores kit which I thought was a nice touch. The room itself was very comfortable and clean, and we slept great! We were celebrating our recent small wedding ceremony and the staff surprised us with celebratory chocolate covered strawberries. They really go above and beyond here in terms of service. We did not have a chance to check out the pool but we did walk down to the beach area which was also very picturesque and had a lot of people milling about walking their dogs or just enjoying the surf. We also went to the bar for drinks before dinner and even though it was busy and crowded the service was still top notch. The trolley stop is also right outside the hotel entrance and we did take it a few times to go back and forth to Laguna Beach and found it to be super convenient and reliable. Overall a really great stay!

The rooms weren’t the greatest very basic nothing special, poor and sloppy craftsmanship. lobby decor was horrendous surfboard everywhere covering up hotel staff valet staff and Bellmen very nice and polite lounge staff rude and found hair in the scramble eggs chafing tray twice

It was our 8th time visiting this property, and we continue to enjoy the experience. We had 2 rooms for our family in the Club Level. The service at the club continues to excel. Special call outs to Diane Tango, whose care, concern and attention to detail is unrivaled. She is a big reason we keep coming back. Also appreciate the service from Sylvia and Yolino. But really, everyone was awesome. And, the views and property remain unique and spectacular. Hard to find a more tranquil and special place. Consistent quality and attention to detail make this property stand out. Thanks for another great stay.
