After a disappointing stay in December 24, I left a negative Trip Advisor review outlining my experience and the reasons for my rating. I have previously stayed at The Heathman Hotel 4 or 5 times previously, usually for around a week, as I regularly travel to the area on business. My review was noted and addressed by Shannon, a manager at the property. We then followed up on the specific issues via email and I was offered the opportunity try them again, for my planned stay in January. I must say, I was a little sceptical, however I was very wrong! My most recent stay was exceptional, and a reminder of why I chose to stay in this hotel previously. The staff on reception were exceptional, the valet staff courteous, friendly and attentive. The staff in the restaurant exceptional and it really felt like a home from home, which is important when travelling for such extended periods. My thanks to Shannon for her attentive reply and the care she clearly has for her guests and her passion for the property and her role. Check in was a seamless affair. My room was ready on arrival, as I arrived just after 4.00pm. My room was beautiful, immaculately clean and tidy and everything I could need. The on request housekeeping service was delivered every day I asked for it. The bed was very comfortable and the room a nice relaxing environment for the duration of my stay. Breakfast was delightful, from an a la carte menu. Coffee was plentiful (sometimes too plentiful!), fresh juice and the seasonal fruit bowl was a delicious way to start the day. Dinner in the restaurant was great, with attentive staff and good service. As has been mentioned previously, the hotel is in a superb central location in Kirkland. Minutes away from the lake, close to coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The property is well maintained, relaxing and calming. The true testament to any property however, is the care and attention to detail of the staff and management. My bad experience was addressed, my return stay was exactly as they promised it would be and my faith here has been restored and I look forward to many more return visits in the future. My thanks go out to Shannon and the team for an exceptional experience and for addressing my previous concerns so honestly, openly and with a commitment to improving where genuine concerns are raised. When things go wrong, which they can do, it's how you put them right that counts - and they absolutely did. Thank you!

This is the 3rd year we've hosted our Annual Kickoff meeting at the Heathman. The entire Heathman team was extremely helpful in the planning. The event itself was a huge success thanks to the friendly staff.

Changes with New Management in the Building and also in the in Room Dining as well as Services made this stay frustrating and not relaxing -

Very much, enjoyed the hotel and the amenities. Friendly staff, beautifully appointed, loved the cozy fireplace and space in our suite and we were excited to have a couples retreat over a Saturday night with some much needed rest. Great brunch at the Hearth restaurant. Love that they have bicycles to use for local exploration. Great proximity to wonderful restaurants all around. We encountered a few of strange things during our stay…, first, our bedside phone started auto-dialing calls to an unknown number on full speaker volume several times throughout the evening/night/morning which repeatedly interrupted our sleep. We reported it more than once and eventually unplugged the phone from the wall in the middle of the night on the 5th time. Next, a persistent doorbell and morning room service delivery person woke us up Sunday morning with 3-4 “doorbell rings” at our room door. We had not ordered room service and we were trying to catch up on the lost sleep. All in all, however, beautiful hotel, and we enjoyed our stay. Hope they get the kinks worked out.

This is the most amazing hotel. I just stayed two nights on the 24th and 25th and it was wonderful. First the staff, every single team member was so kind and went out of their way to be helpful - extra shout out to front desk team members Willow and Sarah and valet team member "Bruce Wayne". Really made my visit special. Next the room I stayed in 211 was great, very clean, spacious, with a super comfortable bed and pillows (I actually checked to see what kind of pillow it was to purchase one when I get home). The lobby was beautiful and decorated so lovely for Christmas and also very clean. Really lovely time. The location is ideal for both being close to shopping, restaurants and only a few blocks to the waterfront. I will definitely be back.
