The staff is super helpful and friendly. The oceanfront location is outstanding. The food is delicious and the outdoor section of the restaurant is right on ocean. The modern rooms are exquisitely decorated and have first rate amenities. It is a wonderful place to unwind and recharge.

This place is all about location, location, location. It's right on the beach and you can hear the waves breaking all day and all night. The Malibu Pier is next door, and there are tons of great restaurants all around. The bathrooms have bidets which open when you walk in - quite the surprise! And the shower has multiple shower heads. The wait staff were helpful.

Incredibly overrated unfriendly hotel Hotel Malibu Inn Coming from far away from Germany, th and so it went on. They then kept coming with the bill from the driver who supposedly picked us up. We felt so uncomfortable. It was like being at school and it was so uncomfortable there in the evenings. There was nowhere to sit comfortably. ey were supposed to be picked up at the airport, which didn't happen. Super tired, we ordered an Uber which costs $270 for a 35 minute ride Then we came to the reception at night and there was a corpulent man standing there who didn't greet us warmly but instead insulted us in an unfriendly voice as to why we hadn't waited for our driver? We explained to him that there was no one there and so in our distress we had to take this overpriced Uber. After a back and forth discussion, we were taken to the room, walking through a windy corridor full of traffic, as the hotel is located directly on the noisy four-lane freeway. We entered the room with a tax of over 900 dollars per night where the air conditioner was blowing out super hot air and we discovered that it was broken. After asking to repair it, the grumpy employee tore the air conditioning out of the wall. So no more hot air came out. After asking whether there was still room service here because we were hungry, we were told: no, there is nothing left to eat. So we went to bed hungry The next day the unfriendliness continued. We had to have breakfast on their terrace in the bright sun without an umbrella because the next unfriendly employee refused to put up a parasol, supposedly because of strong winds. There was no wind at all, which is what we told the employee. Yes, he said with a grin, but he has his rules. and so it went on. They then kept coming with the bill from the driver who supposedly picked us up. We felt so uncomfortable. It was like being at school with hundreds of rules and it was also so uncomfortable there in the evenings. There was nowhere to sit comfortably. My goodness, for that money this terrible experience!!!!!

Amazing location. Amazing views. Amazing Service This little boutique gem is quietly nestled in a perfect location right on the PCH and the ocean! Unobstructed views of only beach and ocean! Staying here was as much a celebration for us as an healing for us! We needed both. Quiet, clean, beautiful. Amazing!

We spent three nights in at the Malibu Beach Inn - it was difficult to get my husband to leave! Sunrise and sunsets were magnificent! At night we were lulled to sleep by the lapping waves of the Pacific.
