Right on the “beach” but seems a bit worn
Located right on the water in Malibu. There is very little space between the PCH and the water, and the beach is very small (non-existent at high tide). The rooms are nice and comfortable, but the hotel as a whole seems to be a bit tired. The decorating is rather cold, although some will like the monochrome white. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

What an Incredible Stay!
We had such an amazing stay at Malibu Beach Inn! We can't recommend this hotel enough! The location is perfect and so unique. Rarely can you stay right on the sand and hear the sound of the waves from your room. Walking to the pier on the beach was also wonderful and everyone at the hotel was so kind and gracious. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Luxe Beachfront Stay
Perfect place to stay for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. Great location, great views from our balcony, easy access to the beach, the pier and nearby restaurants. The room was a decent size, with a fireplace and two large screen TVs. Comfortable bed, well equipped modern bathroom with a rain shower and wall mounted jets and a high tec feature filled TOTO toilet. Staff is friendly, efficient and accommodating. An enjoyable luxe beachfront stay.

Oceanfront bliss
The staff is super helpful and friendly. The oceanfront location is outstanding. The food is delicious and the outdoor section of the restaurant is right on ocean. The modern rooms are exquisitely decorated and have first rate amenities. It is a wonderful place to unwind and recharge.

We spent three nights in at the Malibu Beach Inn - it was difficult to get my husband to leave! Sunrise and sunsets were magnificent! At night we were lulled to sleep by the lapping waves of the Pacific.
