There's an unmistakable air of Magic City in the five-star design of Mandarin Oriental Miami. Palm-shaded cabanas are just as glamorous as they are in South Beach, but with the added allure of seclusion granted by a private beach club on tony Brickell Key. Three floors of the resort are dedicated to Mandarin Oriental’s signature spa treatments, and it’s also home to the only North American location of Chinese luxury brand Shanghai Tang.

My new sunglasses and i-Phone battery pack were stolen from my room and later discovered to be in possession of the Lost & Found department. Surprisingly they were delivered to the L&F department even before I checked out of the hotel. I later found out that this is a common occurrence at this hotel since the L&F policy stipulates that articles not claimed within a "reasonable" period of time can be claimed by the employee that "found" the articles. Very convenient. I need to file a police report against the hotel.

the service was terrible… no worth it price - quality , i chose this hotel to be ready for my wedding day and i couldn’t even take the pictures i wanted properly because they couldn’t offer me a simple steamer and the laundry service on time either ..

Facilities and decor seem very outdated an tired, the pool area was especially disappointing and the jacuzzi only had two working jets. It was mid-week in November so empty but at peak times this would have been very unsatisfactory. I understand that the building is scheduled to be demolished in May 2025 so this is unsurprising but doesn't make paying $800 a night for an average room any better.

Beautiful & modern hotel. Very attentive & excellent staff. Lovely location with great walk-out balcony/terrace facing the water. Not the softest beds but comfortable nonetheless. Restaurant/bar prices a bit high. Would definitely recommend this when staying in the Miami area or when arriving for a cruise.

We only went to their wonderful Peruvian Restaurant at the Hotel. The Ceviche was the best! Location and the view was great. Wish we would have stayed, but we were flying out the next morning. First time in Miami and was not familiar with this beautiful Hotel.
