About the Hotel

There's an unmistakable air of Magic City in the five-star design of Mandarin Oriental Miami. Palm-shaded cabanas are just as glamorous as they are in South Beach, but with the added allure of seclusion granted by a private beach club on tony Brickell Key. Three floors of the resort are dedicated to Mandarin Oriental’s signature spa treatments, and it’s also home to the only North American location of Chinese luxury brand Shanghai Tang.

The best hotel in Miami

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

The most exceptional hotel in Miami. From the start to finish, our experience was phenomenal. The service is top notch. The hotel restaurant prices are very reasonable. The outdoor spaces and the view is to die for. I wish I can stay again before it shuts down for th new project.

Mandarin Oriental - Miami - A Lovely Hotel

Excellent hotel in Miami. Location is very good in Brickell area of Miami . Water body in sides of hotel very beautiful. Very upscale lobby with a very good restaurant and bar. Front desk and concierge very polite and warm - always ready to help the guest. Rooms and bathrooms very luxurious and renovation level good. Very spacious also. Very nice view from the hotel. Breakfast buffet available in the hotel apart from alacarte. Loyalty members get a 50 dollar credit on breakfast . I got it in my current stay. Dont know if its a feature all year round. Food quality is good and breakfast spread also good. Good seating outside in the open also available apart from indoors to enjoy the breakfast . Nice pool with bay view. Housekeeping is to perfection. Service level is very good. Hotel has a spa and also house car which you can use for nearby area visits. Will stay here only in my next stay. Strongly recommend this hotel

Piledrivers in Paradise

I've been going to the Mandarin in Miami since it opened over 20 years ago. I loved the location, the staff, the exercise facility, and the little sandy beach off the pool area. Those days are gone. Swire, the owner, plans to demolish the hotel in May, 2025. But why wait? They've already begun by demolishing everything nearby. Our relaxing days by the pool were synchronized with the sound of huge pile drivers making way for the apartment tower (classy people apparently call them "residences") next door. You can get in early at $5 million and up! Sign up now! And you can sign up conveniently. Because the former exercise areas is gone. It's now a place for models of the new "residences." But fear not! You may not get a real hotel, but at least you can pay real hotel prices! Rather than cut it down to the $200 a night its now worth, with the awful noise, the explosions next door, no gym facilities, and the long gone little beach area, you can still pay $650 a night and up! This hotel is no more. Take a pass while you can.

MO staff is the best, always. We love it here and will be back soon! Wonderful cocktails, tremendous food and service. We celebrated our 29th anniversary and enjoyed every minute. Entertainment on Friday and Saturday night was excellent, filled with locals and a feel good vibe.
