Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of prosecco and offered to update our room for 50 Euros per night. We had stayed at this hotel twice before, albeit in a room facing the marina. This time we settled for a room with a side view of the marina. And since this is a 5 star hotel, we didn't see the need for an upgrade. To put it short: The room we stayed in (802) is dated for a 5 star hotel and in my view should not have been on offer, see photos to support my case. On top of the dated interior, just below the balcony there's a generator/compressor shed of some kind running 24/7 with the annoying sound to go with it. As a result, even using the balcony for relaxation was out of the question. Upon arrival in the UK, I duly filled in a customer survey sent to me by the hotel. I made sure to tick the box that requested to hotel manager to get in touch with me. Needless to say, 12 days later there's still no reply. I will only repeat the basics of my survey reply: Service at bar/restaurant was spot on, but the room itself and the housekeeping was not anywhere near a 5 star experience.

What a wonderful hotel! From the moment we checked in - whereby Cava and an upgrade was offered - to the moment we checked out (after being drenched by the rain and being a courtesy room to change for our flight, and housekeeping staff kindly tumble dried our very wet clothing!) we experienced 5* service in all areas. The food (we had breakfast each day and one evening meal) was superb - tasty, well presented and served with exceptional service. Each member of staff was simply wonderful, providing advice on the local wines, how to get about and generally treating us like valued guests. The location is spot on. Takes about 25 minutes to (leisurely) stroll to the catherdral/palace and old town/city. Yes, there are still some road works but this did not affect us at all, and we still enjoyed breakfast on the terrace each morning. Our room was just perfect. Ample room for storage of clothes, a large sink area for getting ready, excellent quality toiletries and a very comfortable bed. The hotel has a very sumptuous feel to it - and while not ultra modern, it is classically decorated and very well kept. We really can't wait to return!

Stayed for five nights in October. This hotel is in excellent position with fantastic views across the marina to the port and cathedral. We stayed in a suite with marina and cathedral views which was well worth the additional cost. The hotel is immaculate and the restaurant and terrace have fantastic views for dining or just relaxing. A pleasant stroll to the city centre and cathedral. The staff were truly exceptional always courteous and helpful nothing was too much trouble. We had the red level experience as part of the package with our suite which made it even more special, a separate lounge with food and drinks throughout the day and early evening. The quality of food at breakfast and dinner was good both served on the terrace if you wish which made the dining experience special to. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a great experience in Palma which is a beautiful city.

Great location. Lovely view from hotel front. Very clean. Sadly many of the staff were unwelcoming and some even hostile, which seemed representative of a number of places we visited in Palma. Sad for such a beautiful city. We paid to upgrade for a balcony but would recommend viewing the room first if offered the upgrade because it wasn’t worth it. Very small balcony set back in the shade and noisy building work right outside. Such potential but would not return.

Had an amazing stay here in October. The terrace overlooking the marina was a stand out part of our stay. Having breakfast there in the morning (food was lovely) and drinks on the evening was really special as the cathedral looks beautiful in the evening. The room service was great too and all of the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Only minor negative point is that there is a charge to use the fancy sun beds which given how much you are spending was annoying, especially when there was no one using them. I’d definitely stay here again. It’s close to everything you need and would fully recommend if you want great views of Palma.
