Great location, great calendar of activities, yoga class was great, beautiful decor and design, most of the staff is very efficient and professional, especially Mel at the front desk, Franklin from Guest Services, Jomar from the lobby bar, Sabrina from housekeeping, Hannah from Saint Bibiana and Lindsey from the Spa! Every interaction with them was pleasant. Beds are comfortable, bathtub is big and perfect, food is great and full of flavor, pool had a perfect temperature even though the weather was extremely cold, fitness facilities are spacious and clean. the sense of luxury is there all over the place, from amenities in the room to the services like the house car you can book and use. Even though our stay was short, we fell in love with the hotel more than anything else in Savannah. Looking forward to coming back soon!

The stay was quite excellent. However, I made 6 attempts to reach the hotel to ask a question about my bill over the course of 2 weeks and could not get anyone to respond to me. 3 emails to 3 different parties, and 3 phone calls, the last being a request to speak with a manager who was supposed to call me back "as soon as he was out of a meeting". So, while I ordinarily would have rated the stay a 5 star experience and would have happily returned in the future as we travel to Savannah to visit friends about 4 times per year, I am not prepared at this point to do either of those things. Very unfortunate. Perhaps this review might prompt a hotel representative who can actually review my bill to contact me.

Just checked out after a 5-night stay and would have happily stayed another 5! Though this trip was all about exploring Savannah, our positive experience of the city was influenced by falling in love with this very special hotel. Will be back for sure.

Disappointed. My husband and I frequently travel, but rarely put too much stock in our hotel as we’re often exploring. This trip, however, was taken specifically to destress before the holidays and before having our second child so we decided to treat ourselves. had high hopes for Hotel Bardo after looking through photos. Unfortunately, the exterior and furnishings weren’t enough to make me feel like this price was worth the stay. To start with the positive: It is gorgeous, especially when decorated for the holidays. The employees we interacted with were all lovely and the location cannot be beat. We loved being so close to the park and enjoyed walking most everywhere. Outside of that, though, it didn’t feel like a “luxury” hotel, which is the standard they set for themselves. The room itself was fine, but the thermostat wouldn’t hold a temperature and when the heat kicked on, it was disruptive. The first night it woke me every time it turned on and I’m a deep sleeper. We had a breakfast tab each morning through my credit card, so we tried room service the first morning. In addition to it taking almost an hour to get to us, it was lackluster at best. My omelet was fine, but my husband’s $18 “Italian breakfast” was a single hardboiled egg, a slice of prosciutto, one fig, and a small hunk of cheese. We opted to use our credit the last day for their attached restaurant which was better but nowhere on par with the other offerings in Savannah. Add to that a $150 destination fee that was tacked onto our bill with no prior explanation to expect it. I hate writing a negative review, but we thought we were getting into a situation where we’d be a little spoiled and pampered and it feels like all their resources went into making them look good on Instagram rather than niceties their IRL guests would expect.

Always taking away amenities and cutting hours for amenities. I booked here and plan ed trips in Savannah with my partner and they always change their pool bar hours. Changed from 11 to 6pm to 12 to 6pm. It was.open earlier on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays at 11 and now after I checked in to plan a weekend they changed the hours of operation to 12 to 6 for weekends. It gets darker earlier and now there is no food to be served where I planned on my morning meeting before having to go to an event off the property. This is the 3rd time I stayed and have been unpleasantly surprised. For a new hotel in which everything is very expensive to stay here, they sure.find ways of "managing" (bc it is poor management) to disappoint or fail to uphold their advertising hours of operations. Bar Bibi, Spa , etc.. if you want to succeed, stop taking what you advertise away from guests. I most likely will not stay here again.

The Mansion delighted our senses and whetted our appetite to return again soon. The art, ambiance and atmosphere are simply stunning and thoroughly sensational. My wife and I are seasoned travelers with a preference for the very best – Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, St. Regis, etc. We now anticipate a long and memorable relationship with the Mansion on Forsyth Park.
