Reviews for The Prince Park Tower Tokyo

Average hotel, amazing views to the Tokyo Tower

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Not a great hotel, the views from your room, restaurant and bar are amazing! If you want a hotel with a nice view of the Tokyo tower, you should consider this property. Other than the view… not a lot of good things to say about the property, the property needs maintenance and improve the cleanliness of the rooms… service ok… some staff members are very kind and willing to help. If you are in a rush or have an appointment in the morning be careful with the breakfast, wait time can take up to 1 hour which is not convenient at all, japanese breakfast is an interesting option but staff doesn’t speak English which can be a bit complicated, having a breakfast for 2 people but only one can get a coffee?? Doesn’t make sense at all. Pillows are not the best, asked for a softer pillow (they provided one) but still bot a good pillow, rooms can be noisy (you hear the noice from the street, even at the 21 floor). Only reason I would recommend this hotel is the views

Security Breach and Theft

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I am writing to express my profound disappointment and concern regarding a security breach and theft that occurred during my recent stay at the Prince Park Tokyo Tower Hotel. Upon checkout, I inadvertently left my cash and passport in the hotel’s safety deposit box provided in my room. Realising my mistake immediately, I returned to the hotel just 9 minutes after checking out. To my dismay, despite providing my contact information at check-in, no attempt was made by the hotel to inform me of these valuable items' discovery. This oversight has raised serious doubts about the efficacy of your security protocols. I have discovered that ¥140,000 in cash has gone missing. This incident raises serious questions about the integrity of your hotel’s security system and staff accountability. This lapse in both security and communication is profoundly concerning and falls short of what one would expect from a 5-star luxury hotel. To compound matters further, despite filing a police report regarding the theft, there has been no resolution or satisfactory response from your management team.

Nice and comfortable but could use some updating!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Check-in was great! Front office staff were super friendly and helpful! The room was very spacious and comfortable. The rooms are a bit dated and could use some updating. The breakfast on the 33rd floor had a great view of the city and the tower. Typical breakfast buffet items.

very bad breakfast - don’t order it!!!

I wish to share with you my experience staying in the prince tokyo hotel. I have paid my stay here for 4 nights including breakfast at the junior suit. While coming today on my second morning to eat breakfast I was told I needed to wait for at least (!) 40 minutes, and that was after waiting in line for another 20 minutes. After going to the front desk I was told I can wait in a business lounge until my time will arrive. Unfortunately I have a travel guide waiting for me therefore I couldn’t wait that long. I have bought this reservation for my own trip, at a cost of extra 1,800 USD to include breakfast, and I never experienced anything like what I have experienced in the Prince Tokyo Hotel.

Amazing Tokyo Tower Views, Quiet but farther from center of town.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Location: In Shibakoen park next to Tokyo Tower. Has amazing views of Tokyo Tower. Slightly closer to airports. But a bit far from center of town. Common Area: Modern, spacious and updated. Staff was helpful. Rooms: Huge room size by Tokyo standards. But room decor is dated, from the 80s. But everything was clean. Pajamas and full amenities offered. We were here right before Christmas and rates here were less than US$300 a night, which was a steal. Also, right next to a Christmas market, which is nice. Had a great stay but I prefer locations closer to shopping and sights (Roppongi, Toramonon, Shibuya, Ginza). But if you are looking for a quieter area for your Tokyo stay; this is a nice option.
