Fantastic service and amenities! The little hikes are wonderful for kids and the staff are all really kind and helpful. The koi pond is awesome for the kiddos! Totally recommend - and keep a look out for off-season specials on their website. Often cheaper than the booking sites. Just be aware the breakfast isn't included and can add quite a chunk of change to your stay. If you're lucky they sometimes offer discount packages that include meals, and their breakfast buffet is better than Vegas!

Was awakened twice within 6 days by fire alarm (very prominent in hall and room) and had to evacuate the building, at 4 am and 9 am. Answer to the disruption from "head of leadership team" was someone smoking in elevator at 4, which took 15+ minutes to identify, and a fire alarm test at 9--apparently management feels 9 am is an appropriate time to test alarms. The management explained that the 9 alarm was only supposed to be for the hall and not the room. It was in our room and hall. However, the hall alarm is loud enough to wake everyone, and gave the same instruction: evacuate the building. Not sure about the staff's happiness as several appeared sharp tongued and disheveled. Expected more from Lowes.

The hotel is ruining itself with the remodel. New fluorescent bright lights in both the hallways and rooms make it feel like a new Hampton or Holiday Inn. As a 20+ year customer, it’s sad to know I will never return to a place I loved so much. Hopefully they will reconsider.

Nice property with beautiful surroundings and especially welcoming pool when it was 105* outside. The staff is all very friendly, always offering us water when we’d come inside, and happily changing our room when our first room was miles from the lobby and involved 2 elevator to bypass the current construction. The negatives were that it took forever to check us in and we were billed incorrectly. We were with a tour group so everything should have been prearranged and seamless. Instead, it took way too long to assign our room. They took our credit card for incidentals, but then charged our total bill to my credit card, even though the tour company had arranged payment. And when I called to straighten things out I had trouble getting anyone who could fix things. Eventually I turned it over to my tour company. Stay here for the setting, it keep a close eye on the charges. Special mention to Said and Hailie who were especially friendly and helpful!

The hotel was under construction, which is good and bad. Good because it is in desperate need of upkeep. Bad because it was very distracting. I was put in a room that had an entrance from the outside and a patio that overlooked the parking lot. This was very disappointing to say the least. And, it didn’t feel all that safe for a solo woman traveler - felt like a motel. But the room was large and the bed was comfortable and it ended up being nice to not face the pool area since there was a loud DJ in the afternoons when I was staying there. It was odd that the valet workers discouraged using the valet. But, the self-parking was free. The food at the grill and in the lobby bar was not good but it was nice that they had servers at the pool and they poured nice wine in the lobby. I could message the hotel by text when I was there, which was convenient.
