This place is really off the beaten path but there is great signage from the main road. Once you make it to the hotel, you are transported into the most beautiful hidden treasure! We were only able to stay for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. The property is absolutely STUNNING. There are beautiful trees and plants everywhere on the property. The individual cabanas are quaint and very special feeling. The pool was very large and spacious and felt very refreshing. The food and service at the restaurant were top notch and well! We will definitely be going back to stay at this beautiful hidden gem. The only minor thing we encountered was there was no one at the front desk until 8:00 am and we had to get going to catch the ferry to Roatan and had to wait. I wish they would have told us when we checked in when someone would be on duty the next morning. Very minor thing and everything else exceeded our expectations. If you are on the fence about this place, don't be! Its one of my favorite places I have stayed EVER!

As a self aware "difficult to please" person I have to say...Pico Bonito Lodge and Spa is a 10 out of 10. Wow! What a seamless experience - from booking to checkout and beyond. The girls arranged our transfer from the ferry in La Ceiba, and upon arriving to the lodge my luggage was swiftly taken to the room while myself and my toddler were pampered with a welcome drink. This exceptional service continued throughout our time there - truly making us feel like the only people in the world and forcing me to extend our stay an additional night. The entire team...from reception to housekeeping to the kitchen...truly go above and beyond. Every detail of the hotel has been both thought of and provided - including coffee tea and water in the room, essential toiletries (yay - a bar of soap for my face!!!), fresh flowers, a robe...my god, the robe... So lush. So wonderful. They even provided us with an umbrella as it was raining when we arrived. Speaking of lush - the grounds are IMMACULATE. I watched the landscaping team take great pride in maintaining the gardens every morning. The abundance of wildlife reflects this dedication. During our short time there, we saw snakes, monkeys, squirrels, toucans, butterflies, agoutis, and tapirs. Plus all the other things we saw that I don't know the names of. Travelling with a toddler, the pool was obviously a necessity. But there were plenty of other activities an easy hiking trails to enjoy with her while we were there - including the butterfly garden. They even lit the fire pit for us one night after dinner. :') Now that you mention dinner...the food is out of this world. You will not leave hungry. In fact I had to buy bigger pants to get home. Portion sizes are massive and very reasonably priced (soy barrato). I recommend you try everything, but if I was being forced to choose I'd get the black bean soup or flank steak. To every member of the Pico Bonito Lodge and Spa Team - thank you for the best vacation I have had in years! To those of you still considering this hotel...I'll see you there!

Beautiful Lodge, what can I say, very friendly staff we stayed a night transiting to La ceiba to take the ferry to Roatan. The food was great, the staff were amazing. Shout out to Orlando :) We stayed in #4 Cabin. It was clean and very cozy. The garden and surrounding area was breath taking. Very beautiful location. It took about 3:40mins from San Pedro Sula driving to get to this location. The roads were good and safe.

Wow, what a stay! The grounds and mountain views are beautiful. The resort attracts some of the most beautiful birds, and butterflies I've ever seen. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. Although, you will not want to spend much time in the rooms when you can be roaming the property or just sitting, listening, and enjoying the outside scenery. There is only one restaurant, with a bar on the property. The prices are very reasonable, and the food quality, taste, and quantity, were outstanding. You will never leave hungry! Every staff member we met was so friendly and willing to be sure your stay was enjoyable. My only dismay was the pool was beautifully clear and inviting when we arrived, but then became very cloudy and remained so for the additional three days we were there. We never had the opportunity to enjoy the pool. Also, the front desk had limited ability to change cash and did not have an available ATM. Which at the end of your stay made it difficult for adequate tipping of the staff, who all deserved tips for their exceptional service.

My family and I visit Pico Bonito to take picture for a family event, we did not reserve a room, but had lunch and use the pool for $20 each. The staff was very helpful, place very clean and comfortable we took 200 pictures, and the staff was amazing. they were over and beyond to make sure we had a great family experience. I highly recommenced this hotel for anyone who we love to take family pictures.

We would like to thank Luxury Link for helping us discover the extraordinary Lodge at Pico Bonito in Honduras. The setting was spectacular, the outings each morning with the naturalist were fascinating, the food quite good, and the staff a delight. Our very private cabin was the epitome of quietly elegant, rustic luxury. But most memorable was sitting on our cabin deck with our early morning coffee watching toucans and parrots, butterflies and the occasional agouti! As you can tell, I can't say enough good things about The Lodge at Pico Bonito. I think many people do not think of Honduras as a luxury destination, and this lodge proves otherwise.

My fiance and I recently stayed at The Lodge at Pico Bonito...it is a truly beautiful place. The food there is awesome, the service great. The menu is superb and everyone is so wonderful and friendly. We had a very pleasant experience and we intend to go back this year if our schedule permits. It's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of one's everyday life.
