If you don't mind being away from the town of Victoria Falls then this is a good place to stay. A friend and I each had a 'duplex' room with views of the watering hole - we saw elephants, wart hogs, buffalo, vultures, storks, and the 'resident' crocodile (bring some binoculars for an even better experience). The room was well-equipped although I had an issue with a dripping A/C unit (plus one or two other niggles e.g. bed-side lamp not working, fridge not re-stocked regularly). The bathroom was well-equipped too - and large! A good and varied selection for breakfast. Watch out for monkeys trying to steal something! Dinner service wasn't as good, portion-size varied (for the same order), starters and mains arrived at the same time, cocktails were not particularly well made. The grounds at the front are quite expansive and worth a stroll through. I wouldn't recommend walking out towards the waterhole though! The one exception is when the hotel staff give a daily feed to the vultures and storks. You can go down the stairs at the back to get a better view of the feeding frenzy. You'll need a car, taxi, or the hotel shuttle if you want to leave the grounds. we found the shuttle to be adequate.

Beautiful location, luxury accommodations and wonderful service. Situated adjacent to the national park with its own watering hole made this experience magical. Imagine sitting either on your balcony or bar/dining areas watching many various animals stroll by. The suite was beautifully appointed with all the amenities. The staff were warm and friendly. This was the highlight of our trip.

A lovely hotel ideally placed for visiting the falls. Accommodation was lovely, with a nice balcony facing the waterhole. There are plenty of public places to sit, and the bar is nicely configured. The staff are really helpful. The included breakfast was generous and extensive. There is a courtesy bus that runs into town, and the falls, but you do need to be aware of the timetable; in the morning it goes once an hour, but in the afternoon it is only every 2 hours. We went to the falls and walked back to the Three Monkeys bar, where we waited for the next bus. The evening meal in the hotel restaurant was very pleasant.

Fabulous location overlooking the water hole in the nature reserve. All the staff were very friendly and helpful . Couldn’t have done enough for us. Definitely would come back, wished we had stayed a little longer. Great location too for Victoria falls and other trips.
