Gallery Hotel Art

The staff at Gallery Hotel Art were very friendly. They had a roof top bar, the drinks were amazing, and a great look over Florence. I would recommend this hotel. They gave us the name of restaurants to eat at. One in particular was La Bussola restaurant family owned, homemade gnocchi and pasta. There is a wine window right around the corner from this hotel. My husband and I went to Italy to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Peggy & Bob

Love the hotel. Everyone from the valets to the front desk to those in the rooftop bar were so pleasant, attentive and really cared about making us happy. The room was very comfortable and we appreciated being able to open the windows and have fresh air. We would definitely stay here again!

Our experience was amazing from start to finish. It was my birthday when we arrived and the hotel upgraded us to their penthouse suite with a private balcony overlooking the city. There was a bottle of champagne waiting for us on ice as well. Their rooftop bar was terrific. The staff was always courteous, helpful and very friendly. The prices were very good. The location was also amazing - right next to the Ufficio museums and a 5 min walk to Santo Spirito neighborhood. Everything was walkable. We loved the hotel and the people. We will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay and could not find fault with any aspect of the hotel which has if anything improved since our last holiday there. The staff throughout the hotel, at every level (reception, porters, chambermaids etc) ,are friendly, efficient and did everything that they could to make our time in Florence memorable. The relatively new addition of the rooftop bar adds considerably to the experience and should not be missed.We are looking forward already to returning in the autumn.

We’ve often walked past this Hotel on the way to a restaurant or boutique…so when we decided to come to Florence for a long weekend for a bit of a change of scenery, we decided it was perfect place to try. Although it is right in the heart of the city, it’s in a small quiet road behind the main shopping street, so it was absolutely ideal. Our room was spacious, modern and comfortable, with plenty of room in the bathroom for toiletries and hairbrushes etc. Lovely large white towels and cosy bathrobes. Coffee machine and kettle are provided too. Breakfast served in the Library was very good, although I would have liked a better selection of fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. That’s me being “picky”. We will definitely come back! We really enjoyed our stay.
