My wife and I spent a few unforgettable days in this paradise that has always held a special place in our hearts — the Maldives. We chose this hotel for its values and unique culture, and it exceeded all our expectations. Above all, we must highlight the incredible team. The care and kindness we received went far beyond what words can describe. Special thanks to Rodrigo, the General Manager, and to Rayaa, Rohan, Santos, and Asme — each of them made us feel truly at home, part of a family rather than just guests. Our villa was simply spectacular — spacious, beautifully designed, and perfectly arranged to enjoy the breathtaking surroundings. The sea life right outside our villa was extraordinary: we were lucky enough to swim alongside reef sharks, rays, and a stunning variety of colorful fish. The spa deserves special mention — a true sanctuary of well-being. The team not only pampers you but also advises you on improving your health and balance, with professionalism and genuine care. The food was outstanding, with every meal being a pleasant surprise. The Japanese restaurant was exceptional, and each day offered new flavors from around the world. And what can we say about the Maldives itself… It’s one of the most beautiful and peaceful places on earth, pure magic in every sense. What makes this hotel truly unique is its family-like culture — you arrive as a guest and leave feeling like part of their family. We’re leaving with unforgettable memories and new friendships that we’ll treasure forever.

Fabulous island so close to Male , a quick 20min Gili boat trip from the airport. Can't recommend enough for those looking for that bare foot luxury vibe and convenience of not having to take a sea plane. Spacious villas are outstanding, really does feel like something special out of Robinson Crusoe, bedding and pillows are super luxe, never slept better! Food is fabulous...staff so warm and welcoming, wonderful service and smiles all round. Can't recommend this place highly enough, can't wait to return!

After a six-year break, this was our fourth visit to Gili Lankanfushi, and it felt like coming home. Many of the staff still work there, so it was a warm and heartwarming reunion! Every single employee gives their all to ensure guests have an unforgettable vacation. They anticipate your every need, and the service is incredibly high-quality. The villas are in pristine condition. The cuisine is truly exceptional; the quality and taste are outstanding. The extensive wine list and the excellent sommeliers' advice leave nothing to be desired. The dive center offers two boat dives daily. The dive sites are just a 10-minute boat ride away. The service here is also excellent. The beautiful overwater spa offers a variety of treatments, and the highly trained staff pampers you from head to toe. I had several treatments by the Visiting Practitioner, Braj Raj Singh, which I can absolutely recommend. The sound healing sessions he offered were also an incredible experience for us. We're already planning our next trip to our "Gili," but this time for longer than 10 days. Anyone looking for a luxurious barefoot vacation on an absolutely dreamy island will find it here.

We’re here to express our heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Gili Resort. It was our first time traveling to the Maldives with a small child, and they created such a wonderful atmosphere that made everything so much easier. My family and I booked two overwater villas to celebrate two birthdays during this vacation, and they made everything truly amazing—especially my own birthday, which was simply unforgettable. Our Mr. Friday, Shaany, was absolutely delightful and incredibly attentive, making sure our trip was memorable in every way. We’ve been to the Maldives many times, but we’ve never experienced anything like this resort. They work hard to build guest loyalty, and I have to say—they do it perfectly. From now on, we’ll only be coming back here. A special thank you to Hassan, who assisted us during all our dinners and beyond—so attentive and kind. Thanks also to Raman for the wine tasting experience—he was truly excellent. The overwater villas are spectacular, the most beautiful we’ve ever seen, and incredibly spacious. The outdoor shower is just perfect—completely in tune with the Maldivian vibe. We absolutely loved the “no shoes” mood. Right under our villas we saw so many fish, and being able to snorkel directly below was such a treat. The excursions were fantastic, especially the one with the sharks—it was the best experience ever, unlike anything we’ve done at any other resort.
