Gili Lankanfushi

This is probably our 10th ( if am not wrong ) visit to this Resort which never fails to impress us. We were welcomed on arrival by Florian / Resort GM and Alif / Mr. Friday and taken to our Lagoon Villa which is beautiful, spacious, functional and full of light! The deck is on top of the crystal clear waters which never cease to amaze us. The staff is very friendly and present without being obtrusive or annoying but nothing you ask for is not met on the spot. The food here is excellent and would give special mention to the theme nights at Kashivelli & the Water Bar ( Asian Street Food / Indian nights ) One has to go at least once to their restaurant called By the Sea which has a calm demeanor and excellent food. Once we had sashimi / tempura / beef tataki & lobster which were delicious while service is impeccable. The 2nd time we had Tappanyaki which was superb and the Chef from India a real showman! Breakfasts were always so pleasant with a beautiful view of the lagoon and a wide selection of fruits / cheeses from France / cold cuts from Italy as well as sashimi & sushi among others! Fresh juices made of exotic fruits are my weakness while my wife would always enjoy a glass of champagne to start her day. Went twice to the Meera Spa which is very professional with seasoned masseuses who make sure you leave relaxed and very well taken care of. Would like to give a special hint to the musicians who were entertaining on most evenings at both Kashivelli & Water Bar. They are so talented and can sign songs in at least 5 - 6 languages which is amazing! Very often found ourselves prolonging our dinners just to enjoy their music. The prices are in line with the excellent service / food and accommodations offered so you will always feel you get more than your money's worth. After so many years it is still my favorite Resort here and am already planning a trip for next year possible with all my family.

Our second stay at Gili Lankanfushi and once again the best holiday experience of our lives. We visited Gili for our honeymoon in May 2024 and returned this year for our anniversary. Everything was exceptional – the villas, food, service, atmosphere and hospitality. The anniversary arrangements touched us deeply. The beautiful decorations in our villa, thoughtful surprises, gifts and kind gestures throughout our stay made this celebration incredibly special for us and we are truly grateful. A very special thank you goes to Rayaa, our Friday during both of our stays. Having her again made our return even more meaningful and special. She was always there for us, always reachable, attentive, caring and exceptionally professional. Her warmth, kindness and dedication truly enhanced our Gili experience and she played a significant role in making our honeymoon and anniversary stays unforgettable. Rayaa is one of the reasons why Gili feels like home to us. We would also like to sincerely thank Haneef for taking exceptional care of our villa every day. Everything was always beautifully prepared, perfectly clean and organised with great attention and care. Our heartfelt thanks also go to Mailundeen, Meflal, Uno, Lolsi, Amee, Ali, Ramen, Irfan, Alam and Amani for their kindness, warmth and hospitality. Every breakfast, lunch and dinner felt special and our table always felt beautifully prepared. The food experience was outstanding. Every meal was fresh, delicious and prepared with great quality and care. The Japanese restaurant and the tuna tasting were unforgettable highlights. Although we mention specific team members, we would like to emphasise that everyone on the island was incredibly kind and welcoming. Gili feels like family and we already cannot wait to return again.

Me and my wife had a great time at Gili, Rooms, food was amazing. The service and care at Gili is on next level, Hari, Rodrigo, Lolzy, Hassan, Amaani, Stanley, Ramen, Florian and everyone so amazing. And of course our one and only Mr. Friday Miffy such a pleasure meeting you. The team at Gili will go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. We will visit again for sure. George & Sarah
