Jamaica trip January 2025
The beach was nice and private. We had our own beach on the property. It was a bit rocky and it was difficult with the small children. We had a van and a driver that took us to a private sandy beach. That was really nice! They served us drinks there. Our house was very nice and peaceful! The staff were wonderful and the food was great!

A Dream Vacation!
A spectacular vacation! The resort is absolutely beautiful, with stunning architectural features which highlight the unparalleled scenery. We traveled with our 10 month old and the staff was amazing at Cottonwood Cottage. Sydoney (butler), Kimona (chef), Kayanna (nanny), and Shanika (housekeeper) were all fantastic - it was hard saying goodbye at the end of our stay! Ray, the gardener, made sure the grounds were gorgeous, picked fresh flowers for our dining table every day, and he took us on a hike one morning. Ray was awesome!! If you are looking for a secluded, relaxing and upscale vacation with unmatched hospitality i would highly recommend bluefields villas!

Ste Michele at Bluefields was a dream vacation. The property was beautiful, and the staff was charming. We loved everyone we met and can't wait to see them again next year! We snorkeled from the shore, played croquet and volleyball, and kayaked - we never had to leave!

Amazing family vacation
10/10 family vacation!! From the moment you step off the plane you get top notch service. We stayed at Hermitage (family of 8) and the service, decor, staff and food were all incredible. The attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our very need was perfection. We also loved the dogs that hung around the house, made it feel more homey. We had been 20 years ago and were so impressed by what the Moncure's have done to maintain the integrity of the houses ....we will definitely return

Suite Stay-Hilton Points
We stayed 7 nights in one of the 4 new suites. We used Hilton points for the stay. Rooms are amazing. Beautifully furnished with an incredible balcony overlooking the ocean. All meals/drinks are included. The suites dine at the treehouse. 2-3 options for each meal are offered. The butler and chef are amazing at assuring amazing custom curated meals. The food is so fresh. We met and dined with the owners multiple times. Amazing stories of history of property. We even hiked with Debbie the owner. Best part was making new friends as we shared meals and beach time. 100% returning. Hilton points are a plus. Don’t hesitate. Every detail has been thought of and the staff are truly amazing.

Our trip to the Hermitage FAR exceeded our (already very high) expectations. It was my first time in Jamaica - what an unbelievable setting in which to experience it! Jamaica was stunning and Bluefields Bay is serene and untouched. The location allowed for excursions to nearby areas so we had the option of being secluded and relaxed at the villa or being active and seeing the sights. The pictures of the accommodations speak for themselves - the Hermitage was beautifully furnished and constantly outfitted with luxurious touches like fresh flowers, crystal stemware, and a variety of fine china at every meal. We had a blast doing whatever we wanted all day and having our every desire fulfilled by the kind and attentive staff. I can't wait to return!

There are so many adjectives that come to mind to describe our stay, I'll keep it simple with INCREDIBLE. I seldom find things actually live up to the "hype" but Bluefields does that, and more! The staff was so attentive and the accommodations so luxurious, we felt like royalty. We would definitely come again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to everyone we know.

We were drawn to Bluefields Bay Villa's San Michele property's very own private beach, pool and personal staff. The unobtrusive yet attentive personal staff consists of a chef, who prepares meals three times daily using fresh local ingredients, a butler, a driver, a housekeeper, who also tends to your laundry, a groundskeeper, a nightwatchman and a manager, who will plan day trips, spa services or other needs. The owners of the Bluefields Bay Villas have created a safe community by employing local residents, some for over 20 years. Two percent of the proceeds from renting the villas go to a community fund which supports local schools, necessary infrastructure, agricultural and educational needs, all while preserving the natural beauty of the land and sea. It is truly an all inclusive, restorative and peaceful getaway.
