Grand Velas Los Cabos

We had a wonderful experience at Grand Velas. The hotel is amazing on all fronts- service, amenities, kids club, food. We had the best concierge, Christian who was detail oriented and went above and beyond. The rooms were very nice and comfortable with amazing views and balconies. We cannot wait to return.

Extensive food options and activities for everyone in the family. All comes together for a memorable experience! Minor thing need more charging plugs in the room.

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for everything we've experienced during our stay. I truly have to be absolutely honest with you—my daughter, my family, and I have visited many all-inclusive resorts, and this one stands out as one of the very best. The service has been impeccable, the staff are not only kind but incredibly responsive, and the food has been nothing short of amazing. We've thoroughly enjoyed every experience so far. Having someone like you as our Concierge has truly elevated the entire experience. My work is very demanding, and I don’t get the chance to take vacations often, so being in a place as magical as this has been incredibly healing. Additionally, I enjoy staying active, and the fitness team—especially Cynthia and David—have played a pivotal role in making this vacation special. David has generously offered me private lessons every day, and I can't thank him enough for that. Cynthia's energy and passion for her work are truly contagious, and it’s been a joy to work with her. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Thank you again for everything—it’s been a truly unforgettable stay.

The pluses. Good location, attentive staff. Buffett is severely lacking, not even a good fresh fruit selection. Restaurants are meh. Property is showing its age. Pool side service and bars are good. Definitely better options for the price. Adult pool is nice, easy to get a lounge chair.

This is our second visit to Grand Velas in less than a year, and we are already looking forward to returning next year. We are a family of five with young kids (6, 4, and 2), and have stayed at various places in Cabo over the years (including One & Only Palmilla and Esperanza). Until our children reach their teenage years, this will be the only place we’ll return to for family vacations. The other resorts offer a more “exclusive” experience, sure, but nothing beats the overall value, convenience, and service that Grand Velas offers for families. To start, the rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with lovely terraces and ocean views. Dining options are plentiful and varied — the ambiance is nice at the every restaurant and food is definitely above average compared to most resorts. The pools are wonderful, the poolside service is friendly (if not always consistent), and staff are generally eager to please. But the showstopper here is the kids club - truly a one of a kind amenity. It’s basically a kid paradise from morning until night, with truly dedicated and competent staff who make sure the enterprise runs smoothly all day long. Like anywhere, there is always room for improvement, but for our family, Grand Velas has proven to be a near perfect experience each time.
