Dreams Jade Resort & Spa

We just stayed here from 7/2-7/8. Everything was amazing. Our room in building 5 was awesome brand new. The food was good and service was outstanding. Julian Ramirez from the preferred team is awesome went above and beyond with his service he is an excellent person and employee he made our vacation outstanding. Francisco at the outside lobby bar is great also made the best drinks with a smile. We’ll be back soon

We love Dreams Jade! We were married here 7 years ago and had a party of 32 for the wedding back in 2019. This was our 4th time visiting the resort, this time we had a party of 22. Yes, there is construction going on at the resort but it did not affect our stay at all. We love to stay in Building 1 but due to the construction on Building 1 we were put in Building 5 which is completely renovated...it was wonderful! Rooms were amazing and view was great! I love a view that overlooks the pool into the ocean. This had exactly that. The Entertainment Team is top notch!! Dylan, Saul, David and Antonio...make the trip so much fun! We met Dylan in 2018 and look for him each time we go...he is so much fun and remembers us! From the morning water aerobics, pool volleyball, beach volleyball, dance party in the pool, crazy games, water polo, casino night and so much more, the Entertainment Team is the BEST!! Chef Luis at Spice on the Teppanyaki Table was so entertaining and dinner was delicious! Leo at the pool bar was ready to go each morning and so friendly. All of our dinners were amazing and desserts were delicious. We always meet new people on our trips and have so much fun. We traveled with our 4 adult children & their significant others along with 2 other families. We got lots of sun, had fun hanging out with our kids and friends...it was a great week! Can't wait to see the resort once it is done with all the renovations.

This was my fourth trip to Dreams Jade, and once again, it was an outstanding vacation! This time, I was fortunate enough to share the experience with 21 of my closest friends, making it even more memorable. Below are my biggest pros and cons of the resort, with the positives far outweighing the negatives. Pros 1. The Entertainment Staff – Dylan, Saul, David, and Antonio are simply the best. From organizing volleyball, water polo, pickleball, and crazy pool games to Dylan leading our bike tour and even "chaperoning" our kids on a trip to Coco Bongo, they went above and beyond every single day. My wife and I truly consider the entertainment staff part of our extended family. I especially want to recognize Saul—his Gold Star recognition is long overdue. He consistently exceeds expectations, and if he doesn't receive one soon, it may influence our future vacation plans! 2. The Friendliness of the Staff – Everyone at the resort was incredibly welcoming and friendly. So many employees went above and beyond to make our stay special, and their exceptional service did not go unnoticed. 3. Updated Rooms – We had requested rooms in Building 1, so I was initially disappointed when we were assigned to Building 5. However, those rooms have recently been renovated, and they were beautiful. The updates made for a very comfortable stay. 4. Food – I honestly enjoyed every meal throughout the week. From the morning crepes to the fish tacos and pizza at Castaways for lunch, and every dinner entrée we tried, the food was consistently excellent. 5. Pools & Pool Bar – The pools were fantastic, and the pool bar staff kept the fun going all week. Special thanks to Leo, Eduardo, Javier, and Itan for their outstanding service. Cons (Most of these aren't really the resort's fault.) 1. Renovated Room Bathrooms – My biggest complaint is the frosted bathroom windows in the renovated rooms. I understand they're designed for privacy, but they also block the beautiful ocean/pool views, which feels like a major missed opportunity. 2. Beach – Between the seaweed and the rocky shoreline, this isn't the ideal resort if your main goal is spending all day on the beach. That said, we spent about 95% of our time at the pools and had an amazing time. 3. Ongoing Renovations – Renovations are necessary and understandable, but they did create some very minor inconveniences during our stay. 4. Restaurant Availability – It was sometimes difficult to get into the restaurants, especially with two restaurants being closed each night. Overall Despite a few minor drawbacks, this was another fantastic stay at Dreams Jade. The outstanding entertainment team, friendly staff, excellent food, beautiful renovated rooms, and fun pool atmosphere continue to make this one of our favorite vacation destinations.

This is our second experience at Jade, first was in 2024 during hurricane Beryl, and we knew we lost a lot of time and beach. This time we still couldn't use the beach due to the seaweed but the relaxed vibe was extremely welcoming. The staff was top tier as usual, the food could use a bit more variety in the buffet or at the resturants as the quality of that went down a bit. But overall, a very memorable fun experience that I highly recommend.
