Beach problems

If you like the beach, caution.........
Beautiful resort with a great, friendly staff. Was surprised that the buffet food quality was much better than the food quality in the restaurants. Would also recommend checking the sargassum (google it) status before your booking. It was very bad during our stay and basically rendered the beach useless during our stay.

Nice resort but beach a major let down
We recently stayed at Dreams Jade. Pros: Resort has a nice layout and feel - clean and modern Kids club was great - our kids loved it Nice pools Food in the buffet was generally great - very fresh, lots of choice. Breakfast was excellent. Specialty restaurants were just ok Staff were super friendly and attentive Wait times for restaurants were all fine (other than the tepenyaki!) Cons: Biggest con for us was the beach - non existent, rocky and smelly. We’ve stayed in many hotels in the Riviera Maya and by far the biggest beach let down. A lot to like otherwise though if you aren’t beach people!
