Dreams Jade Resort & Spa

Wow! Where do I start? Our trip to Mexico was definitely a trip to remember and it is thanks to the team at Dreams Jade. First of all, the hotel itself is beautiful. Lush and well-kept gardens as seen in the photos. The pool in the preferred club area is clean, relaxing and has a pool side bar and grill that offers a great selection of food and drinks. The rooms are spacious, cleaned well and have plenty of storage. The rooms also have great facilities, with 2 big TV’s, a large comfy bed and great storage. There is a great choice of restaurants, both buffet and À la carte. They all offer exceptional food and the staff in all of them go above and beyond. I would like to give a special mention to Edwin. We were met with his kindness, attentiveness and sense of humour everyday at breakfast and lunch. He made our day everyday and made us feel like royalty but also family. Other mentions include Daniel, the restaurant manager who looked after us when we made special requests. David, who we saw most at the Mexican restaurant, went out of his way to organise a traditional Mexican dish that is not usually served on the menu. Leopoldo and Melvin, who did a great job of making the drinks at the preferred club pool. Victoria and Michelle in the preferred club bar. Eduardo, who served in us multiple restaurants. Finally Oscar, who made sure our stay was as enjoyable as it was. Overall, all of the staff are a huge credit to this hotel. I would definitely recommend this resort if you are looking for a special holiday in Riviera Maya and I hope to be here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this all-inclusive hotel. All the restaurants were excellent, the service was superb, and the staff were friendly. A special mention goes to Evas for his kindness at the Preferred Club pool. We highly recommend the hotel for its quality and amenities.

5th time at dream Jade staff is always amazing!

RUINED our honeymoon. Construction was going on the entire time we were at the resort. The first day we replaced on the fifth floor and the elevator was broken when it was over 90° outside with close to 100% humidity and we were told the elevator would be fixed the first day however it wasn’t fixed even as we left a week later. The restaurants had very limited hours making it very difficult to even get into them. Different staff members held two different regulations on dress code. Air-conditioning was broken in the initial room and then caused a major liability exposure, which turned into a problem. No fans in any of the restrooms. Pool bars closed two hours before the pools closed. Food was not good. Promised turndown service wasn’t done as promised. Room service orders just never showed up. Overwhelming smell of air diffusers were nauseating. Layout of resort not conducive to activities. Pool bartenders lacked customer service skills or personality. Hair stylist was rude speaking about me in Spanish to her boss and didn’t think I understood, but I absolutely knew what she said and it was unprofessional. Staff sent us to restaurants for breakfast that had already closed. Medical staff was NOT sterile, no gloves or sterile conditions when dealing with a medical emergency. Could not have gone worse. This was our honeymoon and we will NEVER get that back. The tractors on the beach all day trying to clean the sargassum was awful between smell and sound.

The staff was amazing. The entertainment team, specifically David, Saul, and Dylan were super fun and made everything engaging. Also I would like to mention Edwin who worked at the Buffett he was super friendly and always was with us for breakfast.
