The resort is beautiful, but not very kid friendly. There is only a small kids pool, the beach was full of seaweed so you couldn't enjoy the water. Whatever you DO NOT get sick, my son had a severe ear ache and we had to go to the resort doctor. He charged us $180 just to walk in, $50 to look inside my sons ear, $170 for medicine (that I later found in the resort shop for $25), the doctor then told me the charge would be $390 and proceeded to charged my card $437 twice, then he gave the wrong medicine and I ended up having to take my son to the doctor again once we got home. We tried to talk to the UVC and hotel staff to get help and was told basically that sucks there is nothing we can do about it.

My 1st visit. Dreams Jade is a wonderful resort. The food is top notch, the service is even better. Roberto and Francisco from concierge will take excellent care of you if you happen to be in their services. I have seen many people comment that they return year after year to this resort and I can definitely see why. Pools are great, entertainment team is great, grounds are kept in excellent shape, drinks were good, and restaurants were excellent (except maybe the Mediterranean one, but that’s just personal preference). Highly recommend Dreams Jade.

My family and I had a great time at Dreams Jade. We had a group of 8 people, and everyone had a blast. The rooms were a little tired, but it looks like the hotel is undergoing a renovation that will improve that. The staff, food, and resort property we better than I expected them to be.

Lovely grounds / pools . Food was great quality , however often restaurants were closed for evening service limiting your choice. Preferred guest rooms are looking tired ( but due upgrades ) with some damage evident to fixtures Servicing of rooms was good although topping up of fridge / coffee machine was hit and miss. Staff were attentive. Beach / sea unusable but no fault of Hotel ( seasonal sargassum). Main problem is distance to any activities - min of 45 minutes away , some upto several hours away ! Airport 1hr+ away depending on other hotel stops with transport. Nothing near to hotel vicinity. Onsite shops very very expensive !
