Dreams Jade Resort & Spa

I've been to this resort three years in a row for a business retreat. I don't like or recommend it. The food is generally mediocre at best and this past year most of my dinners at the specialty restaurants were served cold. The already small portions were even smaller this year than last. The staff is inconsistent when they uphold dress codes. I saw people get turned away for wearing shorts only to walk inside and see guests sitting at tables in shorts. There was a lot of construction this year which is fine but made getting to the bathroom from the pool a chore. The beach is rocky and full of seaweed. We walked to the next resort over to swim.

Mari, from the Preferred Club Bar was amazing. She was very accommodating and easy to speak with (outgoing). It was pleasant to see her each and every day. As soon as she saw us, she knew exactly what to make us, A+. The drinks were always made correctly and to our liking. Hopefully we get to see her on our next vacation here at Jade! THANK YOU MARI 😊

We visited the resort with friends and family. We were a group of 6 adults and one baby. As is the case every time we go, the staff was very attentive to our needs and ensured that our stay would be beyond our expectations. the staff is attentive, friendly and value service excellence. Every request was met with the utmost attention and responded to in a professional and timely manner. Who;lele on site, we noticed that the infrastructure was being refreshed making a great place even greater. We always feel welcomed as valued guests. Special thanks to Paulina, Roberto, Juan (Tamarindo), Edouardo (Mercure) and Melvin (preferred pool). A place we will definitely visit again.

The hibachi experience at Jade was fantastic. Food was great, experience was fun. A must do at Jade.

We stayed for a week - this place was NOT worth the price. I wouldn’t stay for HALF the price. The room was spacious but felt like a motel room but bathroom was nice. There was an on again off again smell of something toxic coming through the vents that gave an instant headache- and there was what sounded like a raging party happening on Friday night in the central are near the lobby… the walls were vibrating until 1am. We’re not big drinkers but there’s a lot of syrup based drinks and cheap alcohol - though apparently my sister had a nice white wine at Spice restaurant one night. The buffet looks impressive but you’re not drinking real fruit juice it’s that weird fake stuff. The best part is the staff - everyone is so friendly and helpful - that was really the best part. There’s an app that’s used to book services which is convenient when it works but there were issues. Also the beach is not one to be excited about- though they do try hard to clear the sargassum.
