Stayed on the adult, preferred side, laid back vibe. Angel our server at the pool was wonderful, he continually checked on us and asked if needed anything. Guillermo Alvarez, bellman, welcomed us on our arrival making us feel welcome. Also picked up our luggage on the day we left, and made sure our ride was there. All the staff was attentive and welcoming. The server at the Italian ( Jamie? ) and the server at the Asian restaurants were extremely good, making us feel relaxed and welcome. ( Sorry forgot his name. ) Liked the way the resort was laid out, lots of restaurants centrally located.

I hate to post a negative review but I was overall disappointed with the resort. The room wasn’t ready at check in and didn’t become ready until almost 2 hrs after. When we finally made it to the room it was flooding from a leaking toilet. The entire first day ended up consisting of us waiting for the resort to get things ready for us. By the time, we got settled into the room, it was dinner time- mind you we left the maintenance person because he was still working on fixing the toilet. This was an entire day of the trip wasted. Also, I’m guessing because of the issue with the room at checkin the person didn’t follow the normal steps of checking guest in. It wasn’t until the end of the trip that someone told us about the app! And an employee mentioned I should have mapped at check in, after I kept having to ask them where things were on the resort. What was so disappointing was the lack of addressing the check in issue while I was there. Generally the people were very nice and welcoming, just not able to or comfortable with dealing with any guest issues. Outside of check in, the food was good. There were a lot of options and we ate a meal we thoroughly enjoyed everyday. I love that dreams offer so many activities and entertainment on site. The pool was relaxing but there was also a party pool if you were interested. The ocean was a huge disappointment. The water was murky green because of the seaweed. When I researched it, everything I found said January had the least amount of seaweed- so that was disappointing. But made the best by staying in the pools.

our 6th time at this resort.. Amazing trip. We always go Preferred level so we can relax at the Adults only heated pool The food by that pool is tasty. A lot of chair saving going on. The pool concierge was trying their best to keep it fair. One guest went a little overboard at Melvin. Crazy not really worth it. She was demanding and rude so that was a little annoying to watch. The weather was awesome. Some seaweed but it is the Gulf of Mexico after all. It is to be expected. The rooms are great. We had booked a oceanfront suite and ended up in the Governors suite. Great views and so much space to just sleep. The Italian is our favorite al la carte. We are early eaters, so never had issues getting a table. The coffee place is my favorite. Coconut ice cream if your lucky to find it there. We love hanging out in the lounge. They make the best drinks. The staff are very friendly and try their best. We saw very few tipping sadly. We always tip. We will be back!!!! Your on vacation so go and enjoy everything they offer.
