Amazing Location and customer service. When we arrived, we booked 5 rooms and we were happy on the location and service they provide. Oscar the hotel manager and his team were phenomenal. We encountered a minor issue with one of the rooms and Oscar took action right away making sure our stay experience was amazing.. Their dining options were amazing too, good selection of menu at the international café and awesome selection at the coco Cafe too. The stay at Dreams Jade is great and will come back again soon.

We stayed at Dreams Jade expecting the standards of a five-star all-inclusive resort. Unfortunately, our experience was nowhere near what the price and rating suggested, and we would not return. To start with something positive, the staff was really nice and welcoming. Our room itself was generally clean and housekeeping kept it tidy steadily. However, almost all of the towels and several pieces of bed linen had visible stains. Even if they had technically been washed, repeatedly receiving stained linen at a supposed five-star resort felt unhygienic and unpleasant. Our main disappointment was the food. “Mediocre at best” is honestly the most accurate description. Portions were often absurdly small, and on several occasions side dishes listed on the menu were simply missing. The overall impression was that the resort was trying to save money wherever possible rather than provide a genuinely high-quality all-inclusive experience. The breakfast buffet was acceptable, although the quality varied considerably from one item to another. We were specifically recommended the Spice restaurant, but it was closed three days per week. On the remaining days, we had no realistic chance of getting a table after returning from excursions because guests apparently needed to arrive around 5 p.m. The other restaurants ranged from mediocre to genuinely poor, so being effectively unable to try the one restaurant staff recommended was particularly frustrating. The cocktails were also disappointing and mostly tasted like cheap syrup mixtures rather than properly prepared drinks. Our only experience asking the concierge for help was extremely unpleasant. My girlfriend developed a very painful calf cramp while swimming, and we wanted to obtain a magnesium product that she has used successfully for this issue before. We had already checked several pharmacies in Puerto Morelos without finding it, so we asked the concierge whether she could help arrange a delivery. She said this would be no problem and asked us to provide a picture of the product. The exact product cost the equivalent of approximately €5 on the website we had found. The concierge then offered to arrange it for US$42. We obviously declined. Whatever additional delivery or service fee may have been involved, charging more than eight times the listed price while a guest was in pain felt completely unreasonable and exploitative. The Preferred Club pool was another disappointment. It was frequently dominated by extremely loud guests and annoying music, making it difficult to relax. We also noticed people using the area who apparently did not have Preferred Club access. We specifically asked about this, yet access did not appear to be meaningfully controlled. Paying extra for Preferred Club therefore provided very little value. Prices elsewhere on the property were equally outrageous. The on-site ATM wanted approximately US$20 in fees for a US$100 withdrawal. The hotel shop charged around €30 for sunscreen and approximately €50 for a waterproof phone pouch. Because the resort is isolated and many guests do not have a rental car, it felt as though the hotel and its on-site services were taking advantage of guests who had few practical alternatives. Another major disappointment was the advertised €200 spa voucher included with our booking. This sounded like a meaningful benefit, but in reality it was divided into several smaller vouchers with different conditions and limited uses. For example, the massage voucher was worth only around €40. That might have been acceptable if the spa prices had been reasonable. They were not. Even after applying the voucher, the most basic massage still cost significantly more than comparable treatments elsewhere. The same applied to extras such as the romantic dinner, which were priced so absurdly high that the vouchers barely made any meaningful difference. Calling this a €200 voucher may be technically correct, but in practice it was almost meaningless. The prices were inflated to such an extent that even after using the vouchers, guests still had to pay far more than they would elsewhere. It felt deliberately designed to sound generous during the booking process while providing very little real value once you arrived. The resort also aggressively promoted dinner events that required substantial additional payment. At an all-inclusive resort, constantly advertising expensive extra dining experiences is irritating enough, but it becomes particularly frustrating when the included restaurants are so disappointing. During some events, outside vendors were also present inside the resort and approached guests quite aggressively to sell their products. Overall, the resort may look impressive in photographs, but the actual guest experience did not justify either the price or the five-star label. Between the stained linen, disappointing food, tiny portions, limited restaurant access, overpriced services, poor Preferred Club experience, misleading vouchers and constant upselling, the value for money was extremely poor. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend Dreams Jade to others. Rating: 2 out of 5 stars.

Dreams Jade Overall Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We just returned from an incredible two week holiday at Dreams Jade (July 15-29), where we celebrated our anniversary and hubby’s birthday, and I can honestly say we truly enjoyed our time there. From the time we arrived until the day we left, we were constantly surprised by the level of hospitality. At every meal, to drinks at the lounge, we were always greeted wth a great smile, they remembered our names, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making guests feel special. The service throughout the resort was fantastic. The food was great. We were honestly expecting "mediocre food for an all-inclusive," but our experienced was much better than that. Our favorite restaurants were: Mercure, Spice, Cin Cin, and Tamarindo, and the Specialty Dinners. We were spoiled at the every meal, but Tamarindo went above and beyond to create a dish that is our absolute favourite. At every restaurant the dishes were beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious. We never had a bad dining experience for the entire two weeks. The property is beautiful, clean and great layout. The beach was fair, I have to say, for all the years and different Resorts we have visited in the area, the cleaning of the beach was hands down the best we have ever seen, they clean daily, and one can actually walk the beach, a great thing to see. We love this property and it was our daughter and son in law that recommended it, it was an absolute pleasure for us. But for us the most memorable part of our memorable vacation was the staff. We want to acknowledge the following people that made our experience amazing. Management: Paulina, Robert, Oscar We were blown away by them. Never, ever have we ever seen this before. Imagine this, they actually care and check in on you, we were so pleasantly surprise, and a true fact, they ask but they also listen to you, and I can tell you from my experience here, they do take action immediately, so refreshing to see this, it makes one want to come back. Every single night I watched Paulina do her walks around the Resort, from checking in on guests at dinner to actually checking into every single Restaurant etc, the first for me, ever. It was an eye opener for us to see management with hands on. Bravo. Front desk: Luna and Carlos Thank guys, special thanks to Luna for always being available and with a smile on your face, a true treat. Pool: Melvin was a superstar in our eyes, always helping all guests, ensuring there were always towels and helping you set up, I will never forget his smile and kindness. Jesus was great when we got to see him to cover for Melvin. Bar staff(preferred pool): Ester, Elder, Alfredo, Angel, Antonio, Eduardo, Sergio, Francisco We are not drinkers, but they knew we loved our water and virgin drinks, occasionally a margarita and they were so excited if we said with liquor, great group of people. Restaurants: Cin Cin: Marco, Jose. Thank you for the experience and the recommendations, and the smiles. Spice: Tomas, Neftaly They were all extremely friendly and helpful Mercure: Karen, Cruz, Antonio, Juan You made our mornings special, the smiles and entertainment was also a highlight of my day. Coco: Samuel, Jair One word, AMAZING, they knew exactly my order, started as soon as I walked through the doors. Tamarindo: David and Fabiola(hosts) Chef Jonny Alberto, Eduardo, Juan An absolute amazing experience, thank you for making our special dish. Special Dinners: Really enjoyed them, we thought they were worth it. Great service and great food and wine. Carnival Buffet: Israel and Lourdes, always ready to receive us and knew our drinks, we went there just for the fresh fruit, and later some goat cheese, and calzones. Overall, the two weeks seemed to fly, without the staff it would not have been as memorable or a great experience. From the smiles, remembering our names and literally going out of their way to ensure all guests were taken care of, it felt like home to us. Can’t wait to see you all again. Un fuerte abrazo From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU ALL.
