Dreams Jade Resort & Spa

Resort was beautiful. It had a small footprint. The staff was outstanding from our UVC rep Luna, to our butler Carlos, to Cruz our waiter for breakfast at Mercure and lunch at Castaways as well as many other staff who were always helpful and friendly. The food was very good. And we truly enjoyed the resort. The only hiccup was the high school spring breakers, who took over the resort the last couple days. We stayed at the preferred adults pool which saved us from the chaos of the High school kids. I feel sorry for families that were there that didn't have access to an area without chaos. Dinner was a little challenging once the spring breakers arrive. It was impossible to carry on a conversation at dinner because of the noise level. We will definitely return, but highly recommend avoiding this resort from mid to the end of March when it is taken over by high school kids and their parents who provide little to no supervision.

The staff that was there tried hard but the resortwas understaffed. They did not honor the room I reserved (back in December). The sargassum was so bad we could not get near the ocean.

This was our 2nd time at this resort and it is beautiful and very clean. Everyone for the most part goes out of their way to make sure you are happy. A special shout out to our concierge Loraynne, whom made sure each day was perfect! Also a great thank you to Fransisco and Melvin at the preferred pool who took care of us each day. The food is what you make of it and remember where you are. We especially enjoyed our server Juan at the Mexican restaurant, he was very entertaining. It was a great vacation!

Wonderful relaxing hot stone massage. Very professional! We enjoyed the hydrotherapy prior to our massages, it was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend Sol and Adriana for massage therapists and Rosalia for your hydrotherapy! Excellent

Buyer beware. We booked an ocean-view room, but could not see the ocean. I was told if I wanted a clear view of the ocean, I needed to book an oceanfront room. We paid for the preferred area, and there truly wasn't much difference between preferred and non-preferred. Anyone can get into the preferred pool area and get drinks, etc. The pool was not heated and was quite cold. Also, the deck chairs sell out by 8:00 am. Fortunately, there are beautiful chairs on the beach. They were not occupied because the staff was working on clearing the sargasum. The drinks, except at the preferred club bar, were not good. The food and service at Merure and Spice were great. Our room was spacious and clean. There were upcharges available left and right, from cabanas to decent red wine. I really do not recommend staying here unless you get a basement-bargain deal; otherwise, you will get what you paid for.
