Improved Stay Under Hyatt, but Some Operational Issues
This was my second stay at this hotel, now under Hyatt management, and the overall experience was noticeably better. However, the restaurant reservation system still needs improvement. We stayed over New Year’s Eve, so it was understandably more crowded than usual. The buffet food was just average, and for the other restaurants, guests had to line up in the afternoon to secure reservations for the same evening. At the pool, towels were unavailable for nearly two hours. We ended up staying in the pool for an extended time just to keep warm.

Good tepenyaki, terrible customer service
Luis the chef was great but the manager is terrible such poor customer service Manuel / manny wouldn’t give us a reservation and was so so mean to me and my family. And then he made us wait in line just to tell us that I was not allowed to eat there because I was annoyed at the customer service. And then he told me that he had a secret reservation for me that he couldn’t announce in front of everyone. SO STRANGE!! Makes absolutely no sense.

Great Chef!
Outstanding. Personable. Humourous lots of little jokes woven in throughout. Definitely recommend to anyone at Dreams. Hit up Spice!

Luis is the best
Luis Tejero at the main lobby bar was fantastic. Very happy to serve us all week and made great drinks. Truly a fun guy to be around. I wish I could hire him as a bartender back home. This guy deserves a raise

Hibachi with Miguel
Miguel was the best time! An excellent chef and even better performer! We had a blast with him and plan to go again as soon as we can!
