Linda and I thoroughly enjoyed our first time staying at Dreams Jade and can hardly wait to return to this resort in the near future. The grounds are spectacularly manicured throughout the resort and the beach and pool areas were magnificent. The quality of the food and service in all of the restaurants as well as room service was excellent. From the time we were greeted by “Welcome Home” to our “Goodbye” as we drove away, we have nothing but praise for all of the numerous employees who did their utmost to ensure that our vacation was memorable and to our satisfaction. This praise goes to all of the staff who work in the Preferred Lounge, Restaurants, SPA, Bars, Pools, Hotel Room Service and Housekeeping. All of these people work so very hard to create an amazing experience for their guests each and every day. We would like to recognize the two staff members who we feel went above and beyond to ensure that we were enjoying ourselves each and every day. They both worked at the Adults Only Pool in the Preferred area. From our first time entering in to the pool area and every day following, Melvin Miguel the pool supervisor welcomed us with a smile and would greet us by name while he went to find us our lounge chairs and set us up with towels. Miguel’s professionalism and customer service skills were constantly demonstrated throughout the week as he assisted his guests to ensure their needs were fulfilled. The resort is very fortunate to have this individual working for them. Our #1 server of the week goes to Evas who works at the same pool. This gentleman would also greet us in the morning by name and knew our routine so he would have our beverages brought to our chairs without the need to ask for them. He would then ensure throughout the day that we well taken care of by just a look and a nod. We observed lots of value added customer service as he utilized his experience while looking after the guests. Linda wanted to let the SPA Team know that her two massages were some of the best that she has ever experienced. I stayed in Dreams Jade with my husband and 2 sons over the Christmas break, and we had a great time although there were a few things that I was not happy about. I emailed the hotel a couple month before we got there, and e-concierge Carolina responded me right away only because she wanted to sell me the Bali beds and made me pay before I even arrived. The Bali beds reservation system is not organized, and She didn't even inform pool concierge about my reservation which I already paid in full. Carolina told me that she passed my request regarding our 2 rooms being assigned close by, but when we got there, the front desk lady said there was no note or any comments about it and the 2 rooms were assigned in a different building. The front desk lady (sorry, couldn't catch her name) was very nice and she re-assigned our 2 bedrooms very close. We reserved Bali beds for 4 days out of our 1 week stay but Miguel, one of the pool concierges tried to charge me again and when I told him I already paid in full, he seemed really confused and was not happy. I had impression that pool concierges are pressured to sell Bali beds because after Miguel found out that I already paid and reserved before we arrived, we didn't receive any good service from him and didn't see him for the rest of the stay. However, another pool concierge, Jose was very nice and he provided us with great services. Jose was nice to all the guests, and he sure made our stay much happier. We tried all the A La Carte restaurants and our favorite was Italian and French. We tried Teppanyaki only because there were so many great reviews about it so I lined up for a long time to make reservation, but we were disappointed as it was not any special and the show was just normal Teppanyaki you can see in many 5 start hotels. I found out why there are so many great reviews about it though, and it was the Teppanyaki chefs giving out the QR codes and ask guests to write good reviews. Was little disappointing. All the servers were nice and worked hard. Also, I would like to give lots of credits to pool staff as they were working so hard to collect wet towels after rains and so many guests didn't have decency to put their used towel away even though there are so many used towels collecting bins everywhere. Barefoot grill is nice, but the head chef was very rude without reason and definitely ruined a good vacation experience. All in all, Dreams Jade is typical Dreams chain which I really like their services, but if there are other options with similar price, I would go to somewhere else.

This was my 13 or 14 trip to Jade. It was wonderful as always. They have added personnel at the pool and room concierge. Excellent! Great service
