Fabulous food at Capers
Enjoyed the Capera restaurant multiple nights. We tried all the different offerings, and they were all fabulous! The lasagne was wonderful and the beef carpaccio was amazing! We ate there four nights and had fabulous service each night from Nora and Estephany to the waiters Erik and Julio. They provided excellent service, treated us as if we were family!

Disappointed
Hotel could use a make over. We traveled with our kids and when we got there they made us pay $700 usd more because our rooms connected. The air conditioning is awful. They came 4 times to “fix” it. They adjusted it so we could bump it down to 18 however it would never get cooler than 25 (77 degrees). I felt like they were trying to pull a fast one by telling us we could put it down to 18. That wasn’t fixing it. Buffet was open for dinner only 2 nights out of the 8 nights we were there. This is definitely not a place I would go back to.

Overall, great trip!
Overall the experience was great! Service: 10/10, the staff were excellent, accommodating and extremely kind! Food: The buffet is like any other buffet but Nora at the egg station was phenomenal! The restaurants were actually amazing. We did the hibachi place (you can make reservations for the hibachi table on the app) and Cin Cin. Cin Cin was above and beyond our expectations! Juan served us a few nights and always went above and beyond to get us what we needed. Rooms: the rooms were spacious and had a lot of storage and a safe. We had checked into a room that had broken shelves (see pictures) and we let the front desk know just so we wouldn’t get charged and they insisted on moving us which was really nice. We ended up getting a room with a better room and they left champagne! Beach: the beach had a ton of seating. It was the time of year where the seaweed is heavy so we didn’t go swimming much Pools: Excellent! We were able to get chairs every day, they had towel services and there was a swim up bar. Entertainment: each night there was some sort of show or event that was going on. The space wasn’t super big but the shows were good. Coffee shop: this actually made the whole trip better. The coffee shop is 24/7 and they made excellent lattes/drinks. Overall, the trip was very quiet and safe!

Great atmosphere, attentive staff. We did get talked into a free city tour that wasnt worth it AT ALL! Other than that the experience was great.
