Another great experience again.

This was my second year in a row at Dreams Jade, and once again, I had a fantastic experience. The pool is always clean, the playlist is great, and the staff is absolutely amazing.A huge shoutout to the poolside entertainment team—Andrea, Antonio, Saul, David, Dylan, and Camila—you are all so much fun! Shoutout to Jesus on the pool bar. I also want to give a special highlight to Gabriella. When I went to complain about construction noise right above our unit, she promptly upgraded our room to one with an even better view and spoiled us with a bottle of sparkling wine and strawberries. How can you not love her?My only piece of advice is for people who love swimming in the ocean: the sea floor is very rocky with a lot of coral, so you can easily get hurt. However, if you love top-tier service, good food, and great entertainment, this is the place to be. I already can't wait to go back next year and win the poolside music quiz again!

Wonderful experience!

We just finished our stay at the Dreams Jade Resort and it was a great time! The food was excellent, it was a short ride from the airport the whole resort felt very luxurious. The rooms were excellent, we stayed in the ocean view king and it was great! They kept everything very clean. We very much enjoyed the entertainment throughout the day, whether it was playing volleyball or waterpolo and the games. A huge shoutout to Saul and David they were excellent. Saul was the best entertainment staff member we have ever met at an all inclusive resort he made everything fun and was a great guy. The pool service was incredible too, Esther would come and check on us all the time to make sure we always had a drink she was wonderful! We also had an amazing Teppanyaki experience, Oscar was incredible! Our one downside is that there was construction going on which means somethings were closed, not the biggest deal but the noise in our room was loud during the day and it was unfortunate the buffet got closed and you couldn't eat inside of it. Overall great stay besides the construction!

Good vacation

We stayed Sept 4-11. We stayed in preferred and had a great room, building 8, with a view of the pool and ocean. Room was clean and comfortable. The pillows are hard, but you can request a different type of pillow. We only visited the preferred pool. There were ample seats available. First half of the week most people were not up at the ass crack of dawn to save chairs. End of the week that changed. We never saved chairs and always found something to our liking. No shortage of umbrellas. However, during the busy season in Jan - March, I would expect there would not be enough chairs for everyone. We walked to the main pool. Tons of empty chairs but umbrellas are limited on that side. Barefoot grill at the pool was average. Never lined up, which was nice. Served hamburgers, hot dogs and fish tacos. Also a very small selection of sides - fries, nachos, rice, etc. The set up could be improved in how guests order and get their sides. We ate at the buffet only once for lunch. Almost no selection, it was very disappointing. Italian, Mexican and Asian restaurants were very good. The tiramisu at Italian is not good - it was soggy. The best restaurant for us was the French. We ate breakfast there each morning as preferred guests. Only small bit is that while they are quick to poor the coffee, the milk or cream can take quite a while to come. We find food at any all-inclusive to be mid-range. It’s similar here. You won’t go hungry but selection and quality wasn’t there, possibly due to it being the low season. The service at all restaurants is hit or miss. But each server and staff member was friendly and outgoing. Service In the preferred lounge was also hot or miss. One morning few of us left to get our morning coffee from coco cafe as the staff in the lounge were busy with food signs instead of assistant guests. Other days, service in the lounge was outstanding. We didn’t like that at the preferred adult only pool they did not check your name or room number to ensure you were a preferred guest. Also, they did allow a very young child in one day in the late afternoon. We didn’t not appreciate that. Tip the pool servers - you will get nice big glasses. No tips means the small plastic cups. There is construction, but we could not hear anything from it in the preferred section. The all around vibe/service of the resort was good, but not at the level of other Dreams resorts we have stayed at. We enjoyed our stay, but would not return.

50th Birthday Celebration

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Dreams Jade. The staff is very friendly and eager to please. Would definitely recommend paying a little extra for the Preferred perks. Misael at the Preferred Pool was by far our favorite bartender. He hustled in the heat and humidity… and did it all with a smile on his face. The only real let down was the Teppanyaki table experience. Based upon all the positive reviews, I decided to make a reservation for the evening of my birthday. We found it to be underwhelming & were not entertained. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but that wasn’t it. It was also very warm in the restaurant. We asked if the air conditioning could be adjusted but we were told they were unable to do so. We were so uncomfortable, we couldn’t wait to leave and move someone cooler. I would definitely return to Dreams Jade and would recommend to friends and family!
