Dreams Jade Resort & Spa

We stayed in dreams jade for 4 nights during August 2026. Staffs are very friendly. Our go to place is carnival international buffet . 6 restaurants are there but we tried only 2 since the other restaurants are not open during lunch or dinner which is not a good thing. Swimming pool is good. Explorer clubs staffs are very friendly and they took care of our kid properly. Housekeeping team is very good. Hyatt App is easy to access. They are maintaining the property very well. Coupons are useless. Drinks options are good.

This was our 15th year staying at Dreams Jade. It is a nice resort. The preferred rooms are very nice and having access to the preferred pool is great. We do spend time at the family pool with the two grandsons. It is a nice pool also. The preferred club is nice but the top tier liquor is limited. They ran out of Jack Daniels after a day or two and it wasn't available for the rest of my two week stay. Who know why? The room I stayed in was nice and the room this year had a Nespresso machine. I did like that upgrade. Unfortunately, the person refilling the Nespresso pods and water didn't always leave the four pods they were supposed to leave. Otherwise the room was good and cleaned everyday. The staff at Dreams Jade is amazing. We come back to this resort because of the staff. I know I won't remember everyone and my spelling may be incorrect but here are the staff that provided excellent service. Lunch buffet: Thanks go to Artemus, Jesus, Jonathan, Rosa and Leoncio. I want to say thanks to Jaime and Oscar at the lobby bar. Thanks to Edgar at the preferred club pool. Edgar has waited on me at the pool for several years. I want to thank Noemi who helped my family throughout our stay at Dreams Jade this year. I want to thank Argeo at Spice who is always so helpful;. I want to say thanks to two sushi chefs at Spice. Luis is one of the chefs and unfortunately I don't have the name of the other sushi chef which is embarrassing. She is a wonderful person. I want to say thanks to Eduardo at Mercure Juan at Tamarindo, and Fernando at Cin Cin. I also want to give a special thanks to William at Capers. Roberto at the preferred club was great too. I don't have their names but the wait staff at the preferred club and Coco's provided excellent service also. My family keeps coming back to Dreams Jade because of the staff I've mentioned above.

Dreams Jade its an amazing place! But the entertainment staff are top notch! David, Dylan, Saul, Antonio, Saul, Andrea and Amara are the best in the business! They made my trip unforgettable! Gracias amigos.

Everything overall good, I didn't like the fact that 2 or 3 restaurants are close every night. So you have limited options to dine in. Besides that Everything was great. Jonathan and the buffet made sure that we had a good experience every morning. Also Alejandra, esther and esvas, made sure that we had a wonderful time while relaxing around the preferred pool they made our stay fun. And finally Oscar the manager the preferred club lounge, made sure that we had everything we need it for a pleasant stay.

overall a positive holiday experience that i recommend. Multiple restaurant options- wait time was often 45-90 mins. Buffet always available and good quality Gym- good- beware there is a 60 mins limit on treadmills- just reset and go again if required Spa- only one visit but had a great experience. Pools were great and big enough for a proper swim early in the morning Beach- the seaweed is a problem in June/July but you can enjoy the beach- swims can be a bit tricky but ok if you need to train. Room service is almost 24 hours and was great for early breakfast on excursion days. we also grabbed sandwiched from the cafe The app has most hotel details but is a bit clunky. Rooms- ours were lovely, clean and large. There were significant building works underway when we arrived- it is worth asking this before you go so that you are aware. Maintenance will always be required but this was a total refurbishment of a large portion of the hotel. Take cash with you- we were charger 30 dollars to withdraw 200! That’s a strong cost! we used a local ATM the next time but it wasn’t easy to find. Changing large notes to use for tips is tricky so best to bring either dollars or local currency with you- usually i don’t do this as it’s easy to get cash locally. Excursions - plenty- recommend whale shark, scuba and cenote.
