Check in went smooth although we had to wait a few hours for our room. We were fortunate to have an ocean front room w two queens and a pullout, which was perfect for our family. Rooms were spacious and housekeeping did a nice job each day. My only concern was the temperature of the room - it doesn’t allow you to cool it to a temperature for the tropics. Thankfully I brought a small travel fan. Food was very average. Nice variety at the buffet, but you had to wait awhile to get anything freshly made (omelets, steak, chicken etc). Service at the buffet was exceptional. My husband waited in line for an hour to make a reservation at the hibachi restaurant (you can go at 4:30 to make a same day reservation). The line was about 30 people long and they booked for the night w the first 8 people in line (one person can make a reservation for 10), which was disappointing. He waited in line a second day and was able to get us in. They did a great job and it was the best dinner we had all week. Bar service was great. Little disappointed in the entertainment. Honestly if you aren’t at dinner or drinking at the bar - there is one show around 8 pm and that’s about it for the night. The biggest disappointment was with the pool chairs. If you’re not there by 7 AM almost all of the chairs are taken. We were lucky enough to snag a cabana for three days which was worth every penny. They were $89 and not only came with the bed, but also three chairs, a bottle of champagne and a bucket of bottled water. 💦 I would’ve paid that just to reserve three chairs lol HIGHLY recommended. Overall I do not recommend this resort if you are a beach person… although you can get chairs on the beach… It’s not the best resort for swimming or walking the beach. Overall, I think the service was exceptional… but I think we would try somewhere new in the future

Went to Dreams Jade March 22 to March 29th. It was a family trip with my sister and brother. My sister is in a wheelchair and so I co tacted the resort before going there regarding accessibility needs regarding the room. I knew the resort itself was accessible and the beach was with a swmimchair before I booked. The staff at bookings was excellent in helping me with ensuring we had the right room for our needs. Could not have asked for more. The room had an accessible shower area and was very nice quality and not clinical like some resorts. The pools were excellent and the infinity pools were a bucket list for myself and my sister. For her so see the ocean from the pool was a big tick in her dreams list. She was overjoyed every single day. The beach was a bit iffy some days the staff worked so hard keeping it spotless, however mother nature did provide some roughness and seaweed. We were about to get my sister in the ocean one day with the assistance from the lifeguard. The staff I general are very helpful. My sister was very happy to be in the ocean again... something many ppl take for granted as an easy do.. so for her another dream fulfilled. The other parts of the resort such as the beautiful ocean view from the buffet area, the food and drinks were all icing on the cake. We would all return to this resort. One thing to add for improvement... more shade if it's possible.. it was hard to find a spot that gave total shade. Otherwise we could not have been happier.

Food and staff were great - especially Melvin and Antonio at the Preferred pool, and Eduardo at the French restaurant. I would not recommend upgrading to Preferred status, there is little to no value in it. Overall it is a lovely resort.
