Very good resort if you need to go with children. Great customer service, rooms are very clean, food is good as well as multiple pools. Ocean beach has stones under the water which prevent from swimming

The chef did a wonderful show with good entertainment details. However, the fried rice can be a little less salty and the beef and chicken can be a little less well done so it is not too dry and hard. It is a fun habbachi show.

This review is specifically for the kids club aka the explorers club. I’ve stayed at many all inclusive resorts with kids clubs for my kids and this was by far the worst one. Extremely misleading - all signage indicates that it opens at 9am, including in the app and outside the club, but supposedly that is just for the “parents tour” and the kids club doesn’t actually open until 10am. The staffing ratio is quite poor - oftentimes there was only 1 staffer for 15+ kids which was not safe. She also told me not to leave my kids through the afternoon when they were going to the pool, even though they can swim, because she knew the ratio was dangerous and she wouldn’t be able to watch all the kids at once. And then halfway through our stay, that staffer actually quit! It also meant we couldn’t pick our kids up when we wanted to, and had to come by at set times. What if one kid needed help with the bathroom, that leaves all the other kids alone. Finally, for a kids club there was no stroller access at all - very odd. There was also a wire holder that was impossible to get over with a stroller and I saw multiple people trip over it (photo attached). Very disappointing. Activities were minimally planned and my kids often said they spent the morning watching TV. Serious disappointment.

Our experience with Dreams Jade was wonderful. We came for the first time for Christmas. There were many great things about this place. There were a few not as good... But let me start with the good...The staff Erik, getting us drinks on the beach, Vensenia keeping the bathrooms at the pool spotless. Raul, Jesus, Emanuel, Renaldo, and so many others serving us in different restaurants who's service was exceptional , super friendly and very accommodating. The location of this resort was perfect. Not too far from the airport. The beach was super clean, thanks to the staff, cleaning the beach from seaweed washed up on shore. The whole grounds were emaculate, even the bathrooms despite all of the people passing through all day long.. our room was spacious, clean plenty of hot water, sweet welcome bottle of wine the first night with a sweet tray, and the last night. The atmosphere was festive and inviting. Beautifully decorated. The staff did an amazing job keeping the international buffet stocked and beautiful all day, every day. The french restaurant was our favorite, next to the buffet. We tried the spice restaurant as well.. it was good. One thing that they might want to review is their mattresses. Getting new ones, this is SO important to people completely enjoying their stay.. Ours was so uncomfortable. It had a giant lump in the middle of the bed, not great for cuddling, and no springs in the mattress to relieve pressure from your body. So 5 days on it was really tough. Also, when coming for holidays we were made to believe, that Christmas eve, we needed to make a reservation, they didn't tell us we would also have the option of just going to carnival for the buffet at no extra cost. We paid $150 for the " special dinner " and tho the staff did their best to make it special, the music completely stopped a half hr after we sat down. It would have been nice to listen to music, even if it wasn't live music for the whole evening. The dinner was not hot, as they did their best to bring the courses out. But, the idea was very sweet. But, we could see people enjoying the buffet and thinking we might have chosen that. Something we like to do is a message when we visit a resort. This hotel offers messages, but the prices were way too high. We ended up getting a great 25min message from the people giving messages on the beach for a more reasonable price. Other than those few things, we really enjoyed this resort. We especially loved the layout of the whole resort-ease of getting to everything from your room, the size of the room, all the restaurants were in the same area, the common area was really nice to listen to music, the entire resort was spotless, the friendly staff, wonderful buffet made us happy we chose this resort. We especially loved the food and staff in the french & international restaurant. Definitely we will come back to this resort again.
