First day experience in Malva Dinner at Paradisus Cancún is amazing. Ivonn and Alberto went beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. We will definitely be coming to be served from Ivonn and Alberto. They were always asking what we needed and getting the dirty dishes out of the way so we could enjoyed our dinner. All my nieces and nephews liked it so much.

Perfect for a few nights to unwind and rest. We have done many cruises but this beachfront resort is better than most cruises (at the exception of the shows at night. Also no casino but we do not gamble so perfect for us)! The all-inclusive plan is great (especially since we got on special...not sure that I would pay full price though...)! Plenty of good restaurants to pick from (most of them included, except for 2 which we did not even bother checking because they others were already pretty great), great drinks (although not all barman are well-versed in some more specific cocktails...so beware if it does not look or taste quite the same as your fav fancy bar) and great beach (although the waves were a bit rough at the season we went). Pools were great and so were the indoor facilities (we used the game room, family room, spa and gym). We had an all inclusive package that included a 1-day beach cabana privilege (usually an extra charge for this premium benefit). We have done many beaches around the world and usually get beach service. This one was great. The menu is limited but the food/drink they have is quite good (ex: fish taco, wings, guacomole, etc). Service is rapid as well. BUT the poolside menu is NOT the same and the food sometimes comes in cold. So the premium to be on the beach and have better food is worth it, especially if you are beach bums like us and can/plan stay all day on the beach. We booked via Expedia and the Expedia specialists on sites were helpful and came by often. Very attentive to our needs and great offers (which were not disclosed during booking, so nice surprise..especially since we found out about them on site! ;D)

Had a great trip with my family over Christmas of 2024. Staff was very friendly, especially the workers at the swim up pool bar. Dino and Artemio are very friendly and quite funny. Very sweet towards my whole family and grandparents. 10/10!!

There are not enough activities for kids. There is one pool table with poor conditioned cues, one video game station with very long wait constantly. There is a large pool but little fun activities. The nightly performances are at a crammed area with poor visibility. The escape room is fun but expensive. Overall kid experience design is lazy and limited. The food is generally not tasty though variety is decent. Quality of ingredients is quite low and all the restaurants taste generic. There are not enough beach chairs by the pool - too many people vie for a few of them. Too many spots are reserved for premier members or pay-for-upgrade. Staff in general appears to lack training and/or motivation. Management appears to focus on cost cutting and upselling. The beach and ocean are world class but not something the hotel can claim credit for except the cleanliness. In its current state there’s little value for money. It’s a beautiful place but an empty shell. We are definitely not coming back.

A 5-star hotel has turned into 2-star. Positives: Beaches, Restaurant Service Staff. Negatives: Family concierge is a scam. Overall staff attitude is gone down the drain. Frequent out-of-stocks on Food/Towels. No care for customer experience.
