This resort is amazing. The staff, facilities and location are just perfect for a relaxing tropical holiday!! We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade to a villa residence which was just superb. From the greeting in the private pool, to being expertly looked after by all resort staff, we couldn’t recommend this resort enough. The food was delicious and plentiful with many options each day. Happy hour was great to try different cocktails, especially from the swim up pool bar. Also really enjoyed starting my day by snorkelling the house reef. We hope to return with the whole family soon.

Incredible resort! The people working here are beyond nice and seem truly happy to be working there. The resort has a world of activities that range from adventures to culinary classes to immersion into traditional Fijian culture. I would 110% recommend! It's a beautiful spot. And one last thing, when you arrive you are greeted with a 'Warrior Welcome'. You simply won't forget it.

This experience was beyond a resort experience, from the moment we entered we were treated like family. After our early arrival, We were given a room to sleep while we waited for our room to be ready. Every detail from fiji plug adapters, bug spray, extra pool towels were thought of. Excursions can be organized via the resort. This isn't a loud party resort, but a beautiful quiet, cozy retreat, and is family friendly . The meals are chef prepared and wonderful. All attention to detail was thought of, from the bikes to get around to the cart pick ups if desired. I was not well for a few days and the team would prepare me hot, lemon, ginger tea and bring to our room without hesitation. I highly recommend nanuku, u will not be disappointed

We recently stayed at Nanuku Resort, and while there were definitely some incredible aspects to our experience, there were also some glaring disappointments—especially considering the high-end pricing and five-star reputation. Pros: Beautiful Accommodations – Our room was fantastic, featuring a private pool and a direct private path to the ocean, offering an intimate and serene experience. The sunset views were breathtaking. Warm Hospitality – The majority of the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, always greeting us with a cheerful “Bula!” which added to the resort’s charm. Favorable Exchange Rate – The strong U.S. dollar made services like spa treatments approximately $100 USD cheaper than what you’d expect at comparable high-end resorts in the U.S. Cons: Disappointing Dining Experience – The food was not up to the standard of a five-star resort. Breakfast was passable but uninspiring, and dinner was a complete letdown in both quality and price. One of the most ridiculous experiences was ordering a tostada appetizer, which turned out to be two tiny saltine-type crackers with a dollop of something on top, priced at FJD 43 (about $21 USD)! We were stunned and laughed in disbelief at the ridiculousness of it. Service was slow and disorganized—our order was messed up, my husband's plate arrived early, then they took it back when we inquired about mine. Bread service? One cold piece with a tiny portion of butter, making us wonder if there was a bread shortage they weren’t disclosing. When we asked for more bread, the waiter came back one small piece. After this overpriced, subpar dinner, we switched to room service every night for dinner for the remainder of our trip, which was cheaper and better despite the limited menu. Lack of Nearby Amenities – The surrounding area is impoverished, which isn’t an issue itself, but it means there’s no supermarket or alternative dining options within walking distance. You’re completely dependent on the resort for food and services. Medical Concerns – The nearby town near the resort has only one doctor available for guests. If you experience a health issue, you’re out of luck unless it’s something minor and you had better hope that the one doctor is available to help. This could be a serious concern for travelers with serious medical conditions. Mediocre Spa Experience – While very affordable, the spa experience was underwhelming. My massage felt like the masseuse had no professional training and put in minimal effort, even after I specifically requested a deep tissue massage. Final Verdict: Nanuku Resort offers stunning ocean view location and I liked my room but the poor dining experience, lack of quality spa services, and inadequate medical access make it not worth the premium price. If they improve the food and service, it could live up to its five-star reputation, but as it stands, we wouldn’t return unless major changes are made.

What an amazing resort. The number one thing that makes Nanuku special (beyond the beautiful setting/scenery) are the people who work here. From the moment you arrive, to the moment you depart, you are treated like family. I couldn’t feel more at home and welcome than when I am at Nanuku. Every single person you encounter at the resort goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. We stay in the two bedroom villa and love all the amenities and quality of everything. The beds are comfortable and accommodations are spacious. We always get the meal plan and love breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is fresh, carefully prepared and tastes delicious. The Bula Buddy system is a remarkable feature, where each child is partnered with a staff person who interacts and plays with them throughout the day (8am-8pm). This allows kids to have supervision while you get to enjoy some peace, tranquility and time with your spouse. There are tons of activities at the resort. Two cannot miss excursions are trips to the private island and sand bar. Each allows you to enjoy some time off the resort, so you can explore all the beauty Fiji has to offer. If you travel here with school aged kids, I’d suggest a trip to tour a local school. It’s a chance to have your kids see what children in other countries experience for their eduction. I’d bring a few items like hard candies, art supplies and a soccer ball with you as a gift. the look in their eyes when you hand it to them is priceless. Nanuku is a special place. I look forward to my third visit there later this year.
