Hilton La Romana All-Inclusive Adult Resort & Spa Punta Cana

We were here for many celebrations. Retirement anniversary, birthday, victor treated us like complete VIP. He sent us notifications of daily activities, found us wherever we were to bring us a cooler of drinks, plates of fruit etc. he made our reservations for excursions. Such as boat cruise and spa treatments, and checked with us after to make sure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend asking for Victor Val if this is the treatment you would like.

Just returned from another amazing week at the Hilton La Romana. We have been visiting this wonderful place sine 2021 and every trip has been exceptional. The grounds, gardens, public areas are all well-kept and maintained BUT it's the people who work at the resort that make all the difference. Danilo our "Butler" who has become more like a friend has always provided us exceptional, personal service and makes our stay even more enjoyable. Even though the butler service has changed over the years to include less perks we still find Danilo still make us feel at home and like family. Adrian and Belkis at the Adults Pool provided top notch service all week. Always super attentive and ready to get you the drink you want. Belkis makes her rounds back and forth across the pool deck so your cup is never empty. I wonder just how many steps she gets in a day.... Adrian is a awesome young man who remembers our names and made great recommendations. Freddy, Pablo and the Fun Team know how to bring the fun for KIDS of all ages. Fun activates and games for the kids and fitness and night life for the BIG kids! Never a lack of things to do. Thank you all for all that you do!! Santo and the entire silent disco crew were excellent! Rocked it all night long!!! If you have nave done a silent disco, you should! So much fun! Emanuel and Angelo provided an amazing experience at Sakura tonight! My daughter even said it was one of her Top 10 meals which is saying a lot as she is a little picky… Great food, amazing show and a fantastic atmosphere! To all of the rest of the countless staff that make the Hilton La Romana what it is, we cannot thank you enough for always making out stay so amazing!!!!

Very happy with our stay. Byron Mercedes was our butler and went above and beyond every day to make our stay feel like home. He was attentive and great at communicating everything that was happening/available. The staff was very friendly and always accommodating. The pool cabanas are worth the extra money, but the beach was great as well.

The property is beautiful, well maintained and well planned. The "family side" is about a ten minute walk along the beach where there are some restaurants and the outdoor theatre. We were in a garden view Enclave suite. The suite was comfortable, very clean, and well appointed. Argentina, our housekeeper kept it spotless. The entertainment in the lobby was very good. The restaurants were all above average to excellent. We had almost no problems with service, although Mare let us down twice. Still the food was very good. The tepanyaki at the asian restaurant was fun and the food great. You MUST make reservations for this. The Italian and French restaurants did not disappoint and the Meditteranean was just as wonderul. I don't like buffets, but this one was a cut above. Fresh food, proteins (chicken breats, steak, pork) cooked from fresh right in front of you. The staff is friendly. It seemed that tips were not expected but received with sincere gratitude when made. If you book Enclave or upgrade to it, you won't be disappointed. The pool is lovely. There is a bar with swim up at that pool and also on the deck side. The bartenders seemed more engaged with the swim up customers and not so much on the deck, but still nice enough. The Enclave lounge? Better than any we've experienced and we have experienced many. So many food options throughout the day, it's own bar and comfortable, spacious seating. This is an unpopular subject, but to the cigarette smokers out there...No smoking on the balconies or patios. Hefty fine if caught. Some folks broke the rules and didn't get fined, others did. There are designated smoking spots on the adult side - in direct sunlight and no seating. The idea being smoke your cigarette and move on. On the Family Side behind the theater and, ironically, adjacent to the children's play area, is what a little boy I heard call the "smoking tree." A large shade tree, with benches and cement ashtrays. No such thing on the adult side. I understand that it would be logistically and economically unfeasable for the resort to designate rooms that would allow smoking outside on a balcony or patio. An area like the "smoking tree" on the adult side would be nice. I met so many folks from the UK, Germany, France and Holland at the smoking poles. Some said as much as they loved the resort they wouldn't come back because of the smoking policy. One couple said it's inconvenient, but they come back repeatedly. My husband would make this an annual trip for us. I am more of a mind that I can stay at another resort that may be a little "less than" this resort if I could have a cigarette with my morning coffee or evening wine. To use a sort of "Star Wars" reference, the "force is strong" with the smokers. This resort is worth the price. There is a lot to compliment.
