Secluded and Away

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Location is secluded and 1.5 hours away from airport. It is a good place for couples who want to bask by the pool and enjoy the resort. The Spa services are on the high side so I didn't try them out. The service was exceptional and the staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are nice but did have issues with things not working like the fan and some outlets. However, the AC worked well. The restaurant(s) food was really good. I suggest everything at the pool , the seafood chowder at 14 61. There is a coffee/ice cream shop as well. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent.

Fantastic Experience! Just what the Doctor ordered.

My wife and I went here for our 30th Wedding Anniversary and it was awesome! The resort was great and the staff was incredibly accommodating. We did not want for anything.

Beautiful but Needs Improvements

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Overall, Zoetry is a beautiful resort tucked away on a beautiful marina. It has a lot of potential to be an amazing experience but needs improvement. Housekeeping was not great, we had to request washcloths twice including our first night and it took forever to bring them. The dining options are very limited and you had to pay for “nice” dining options. Our best food was off the resort. All restaurants are open air so be prepared to be hot and bitten by mosquitoes . The pool restaurant had the best options and service. Room service was unavailable one night and one morning which was annoying. The Hurricane Hole service was super slow so don’t go there if in a hurry. Mosquitos are everywhere so make sure to keep spray on you. Our check in process was mainly a woman trying to convince us to visit a sister resort for a presentation to sell us on. The music at the main pool was kind of slow and boring until we provided feedback. The rooms are cute, nothing special but cozy. It really is a beautiful property but needs more dining options and entertainment. Shout out to Sholar. Allison, Wendy, and Jayah!

A slice of paradise. Perfect way to unwind and recharge the batteries.

We originally booked to stay at the Royalton for our visit to St Lucia (because we’d stayed at Royalton resorts before), however, a number of things meant that we switched to the Zoetry some weeks before our trip - a decision we did not regret. Zoetry at Marigot Bay is the perfect place to unwind and recharge the batteries. We stayed in a master suite that was spacious and had all the amenities we could have required, plus more. The hotel also provides insect repellent which is a big plus if you’re a mozzie magnet like I am. We stayed for 10 nights - usually just the right amount (I find 14 nights too long), but at the Zoetry, I honestly didn’t want to leave. The history of the bay is fascinating, the geology beautiful. Food and service great. We enjoyed morning yoga sessions and the ridge hike with Markeem. Only downside is the beach. All beaches are public so it’s beyond the resorts control but there are better beaches across the carribean. That said, the hotel and the marina make up for it. While there we learnt that friends we had met at a Royalton in Antigua happened to be on St Lucia at the same time, at the Royalton. They said they had tried to change hotels because of their experience, solidifying that we had made the right choice. All the staff at the Zoetry are happy, bright and friendly. Big shout out to our butlers - Rochel, Shaun, Nage et al. Also to Mario, Ronnie and Alison. Markeem too! Zoetry Marigot Bay is a slice of paradise.

Sweet St.Lucia!

It took me a while to get to writing a review... Me and my wife enjoyed our week at Zoetry Marigot Bay. We stayed from 18th Sep 2025 to 25th Sep 2025. We were made to feel at home. We came during September and it was HOT. Caribbean heat is no joke. We loved Neil. He made our stay one of the best we have ever had. So many memories that will stay with us forever. We had a 6 course romantic dinner at the tree top hideaway and it made our first year anniversary. Jacque-quan (apologies for the spelling) I dont get the complaints regarding the food. We definitely recommend trying a St. Lucian breakfast when you come. Me and my wife fell in love with the bakes , plantain and saltfish with cocoa tea. We are familar with Ackee and Saltfish, but this version is just as good! The conch fritters served at dinner were so delicious. I definitely recommend them (if you aren't allergic to Seafood lol). All of the seafood we tried was delicious!! The resort itself doesnt imo look 5 star imo (id give it a 4+ star), but the customer service is 5 star. Everyone was amazing. Thats not to say the resort doesn't look nice. Its in a very beautiful part of the world, but little things are just there that take a star off (such as blinds that havent been cleaned well and finishing touches with regards to the interior such as getting rid of a build up of dark marks on the bathroom ceiling). I understand why some people may not like the resort. It isnt for everyone. If you arent feeling a rustic Caribbean vibe, the hotel night not be for you. Also if you want to be where the action is you might be better staying in the north of St. Lucia somewhere like Rodney Bay, because part of the appeal of this place is that its far away from all of the noise of the city. I definitely would come again!
