Our stay at Zoëtry was definitely a rustic, relaxing getaway. The resort itself is a bit dated and may not wow you immediately, but it definitely grew on us as the stay went on. The property and surrounding area are beautiful, peaceful, and perfect if your goal is to truly slow down and relax. This is not a resort where you should expect constant entertainment or activities around every corner—it’s much more about enjoying the scenery and quiet atmosphere. The location was one of our favorite parts. We booked a day trip by boat, and they were able to pick us up right from the dock outside the resort, which was incredibly convenient. The private beach was clean, easy to access, and had water activities available, which we really enjoyed. There were a few things that could definitely be improved. One of our biggest frustrations was food availability. There wasn’t always somewhere to grab food throughout the day, and the restaurant hours listed in the Hyatt app did not always match the actual operating hours. At a resort, especially one centered around relaxing and staying on property, we expected food to be more readily available. We also had an issue with the shower in our room not draining properly. We could only shower for about two minutes before the water would begin flooding the bathroom. Unfortunately, it got to the point where I ended up using the outdoor pool shower to wash my hair, which was obviously not ideal for a hotel stay. Overall, Zoëtry has a lot of charm and the beautiful location really does grow on you. If you’re looking for a quiet, laid-back escape and don’t mind a more dated/rustic property, you may really enjoy it. With some updates to the rooms, better maintenance, and more reliable food availability, the experience could be significantly improved.

This year's birthday trip was AMAZING!! And I owe it in large part to the staff at Zoetry!! Everyone was just the best. Very thoughtful and helpful throughout my stay. I could not have asked for better. They even decorated my room on my birthday. I had a really great time.

I had never seen a place that was as beautiful as the pictures until we came here! The entire place was absolutely stunning! The view of the bay from the rooms was incredible! The food was TO DIE FOR! Everything was prepared extremely fresh and tasted delicious. The chicken tacos from the pool side bar were amazing. The drinks were perfectly made and just strong enough! What really made the trip though, was the staff. Tamy put together a BEAUTIFUL wedding and made all of my dreams come true! Sean, Rohan, Ferguson, Athelia, Quan, Alison, Dumplyn (my personal favorite), were all so welcoming and fun. They waited on us hand and foot and made it so that we had the best trips of our lives. If you are looking for a wedding destination or just a vacation, Zoetry Marigot Bay will leave you with full hearts and full stomachs

The location is beautiful but not very convenient, especially if you want to explore outside of the resort. The property itself needs updating and did not feel like the luxury resort we expected. The atmosphere was peaceful, but at times it was so quiet that it almost felt as though no one was actually there. Housekeeping was disappointing, and staff frequently entered our room at odd times, leaving us with very little sense of privacy. We also did not receive several advertised touches, including the welcome bag, daily fresh fruit, or complimentary wine. Amenities were very limited and were never properly explained to us. There were no excursions available on-site, food options were limited, and additional expenses were very costly, making the overall value disappointing. The restaurant staff were very kind and welcoming and were one of the highlights of our stay. The café was by far the best part of the resort—10/10.
