A beautiful resort in a stunning location with fabulous staff who looked after us all the way. Shout outs have to go to the following people (in no particular order): Brenda was just amazing - she was everywhere (I'm sure she teleports or there are 3 of her) - she looked after me so well with my dietary requirements (gluten and dairy free) and was just an absolute pleasure to be around. Nothing was too much effort and she did everything with a huge smile on her face. Nathalia also looked after us so well in the Hurricane Hole - making sure everything was adapted to be safe for me and on the one day they had run out of what I fancied she made sure that I was catered for in 1461 instead - it's easy to feel like a burden when you have dietary needs but Nathalia took all the worries away and made it a wonderful experience. We booked to do the rum tasting experience for my birthday and so glad we did - again the chefs (with the help of our butlers - more on them later) made sure that the menu was adapted to suit me and Karla made the whole experience really memorable - if you get a chance to do this it's a must. We had booked a room with butler service and the set up was great, with whatsapp so you can reach them from 7am to 11pm. Nege and Rochelle helped us get settled in and then took care of making sure our trips and transfers were sorted, the kitchens knew about my dietary needs and lots of other bits and pieces that made the whole trip more relaxing and enjoyable - can't thank you enough and loved how Nege would pop up throughout the day to check everything was ok - hope you won your game! We also attended the cocktail class which Mario made super fun and the cocktails tasted fab! The cocoa tea making class was another fave moment which Nicole made wonderful and I've brought some home - it's not quite the same but it's not bad! The other class we attended was the cooking class but this was a little disappointing as although I had checked it turned out I couldn't eat the food as it has gluten in it and also the chef had made the batter before we arrived so we didn't really get to do anything. Finally a huge shout out has to go to chef Erwin at the pool / sushi bar - I explained my dietary needs on the first day and then he looked after me with first class service every day after, from ceviche and sushi to tacos and tortillas I had a delicious lunch every day. It's worth noting the tacos and fried foods would not be suitable foe coeliacs (I am intolerant but not coeliac) due to cross-contamination so that is something that could be improved. Another thing is that the only gluten and dairy free dessert options were fruit and sorbet so that could be better - BUT I was delighted that I could have the piña coladas, so they became my pudding! We loved going over to the beach too but it is quite different to the pool as there are lots of locals who come and chat to you so worth being aware that it's not a private beach in case you thought it was. Finally it was impossible to get a late check out or a room to shower in as we had a late flight - luckily some lovely guests let us use their room but the process could certainly be improved. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and birthday.

Disappointed and will not be returning. For guests hoping for a luxurious, calm stay as advertised, look elsewhere. The pool was loud and overcrowded with no chairs or clean towels by 10am. Day-passes made for rowdy crowds that cheapened the experience. We had hot water for 50% of our stay and dining was okay at-best. We left dinner after two hours with no food and ordered room service instead on a busier night, other slower days were closer to an hour wait. No fine dining option as advertised. Steakhouse costs extra and is very expensive even with the UVC discount. The island and surroundings of the resort are stunning and we are sad to share our poor experience after many wonderful stays with other Zoetry and Secrets resorts but overall we do not recommend Marigot Bay.

Absolutely loved the Zoetry resort perched above the Marigot Bay marina overlooking the harbor with stunning views! Our room was superb with everything you could wish for. King Size bed, luxurious living room with island, refrigerator and microwave. Front deck with table and chairs. On our lower deck was a plunge pool that overlooked the large 75-seat pool/bar and harbor below. We had day & evening butlers as well as 24-hour room service. That was a lovely touch! There are several restaurants at the resort, each featuring different types of foods, beverages and daily or nightly entertainment (wonderful, live performers!). The food was really good; particularly enjoyed the Creole night. The staff really make the place; they are hard-working and lovely people. Particular thanks to Jayah, Allison and Wendy at the pool bar. Dione at the Cove Restaurant and Rashida and Allison at the 1461 Restaurant & Bar! Best Rum Punch drinks with Coconut Rum and Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris!!! We felt really lucky to have stayed in such a beautiful place and plan to return. Butlers: Neil, Sean, Nigel Servers: Wendy, Dione, Allison, Rashida Bartender: Jayah (First week on the job as bartender!!!) All of the resort workers routinely made a point of saying hi to us every time we saw them around the site.
