Zoetry Marigot Bay St. Lucia

Disappointed and will not be returning. For guests hoping for a luxurious, calm stay as advertised, look elsewhere. The pool was loud and overcrowded with no chairs or clean towels by 10am. Day-passes made for rowdy crowds that cheapened the experience. We had hot water for 50% of our stay and dining was okay at-best. We left dinner after two hours with no food and ordered room service instead on a busier night, other slower days were closer to an hour wait. No fine dining option as advertised. Steakhouse costs extra and is very expensive even with the UVC discount. The island and surroundings of the resort are stunning and we are sad to share our poor experience after many wonderful stays with other Zoetry and Secrets resorts but overall we do not recommend Marigot Bay.

Absolutely loved the Zoetry resort perched above the Marigot Bay marina overlooking the harbor with stunning views! Our room was superb with everything you could wish for. King Size bed, luxurious living room with island, refrigerator and microwave. Front deck with table and chairs. On our lower deck was a plunge pool that overlooked the large 75-seat pool/bar and harbor below. We had day & evening butlers as well as 24-hour room service. That was a lovely touch! There are several restaurants at the resort, each featuring different types of foods, beverages and daily or nightly entertainment (wonderful, live performers!). The food was really good; particularly enjoyed the Creole night. The staff really make the place; they are hard-working and lovely people. Particular thanks to Jayah, Allison and Wendy at the pool bar. Dione at the Cove Restaurant and Rashida and Allison at the 1461 Restaurant & Bar! Best Rum Punch drinks with Coconut Rum and Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris!!! We felt really lucky to have stayed in such a beautiful place and plan to return. Butlers: Neil, Sean, Nigel Servers: Wendy, Dione, Allison, Rashida Bartender: Jayah (First week on the job as bartender!!!) All of the resort workers routinely made a point of saying hi to us every time we saw them around the site.

I requested a low level room KNOWING this place has a ton of steps... When I arrived on Thursday, they claimed to not see my request. I booked directly on their site. So they COULD NOT accommodate my disability. I had to walk up 70 STEPS to get to my room which was ridiculous! That was the best they could do... Arrival is horrible. You have to sit and wait for them to bring you to the room to "check-in". So you're waiting in the lobby for an hour (5:30pm-6:30pm) when the rooms should be ready because check in is 3pm.... The room: DATED like 1990, desperately in need of a renovation. My mirror was cracked and the paint peeled in the closet area. My view (room 2012) was a FENCE. Not a resort view. Just BAD. Especially after 70 steps to get there. I changed my flight a day earlier JUST TO LEAVE!!! Next, the food options. The food was ok. Basic. Nothing to write home about. Top shelf liquor was a bottle of Grey Goose. That's it! Tito's is not top shelf. The beach. Forget it. It's a small cove/marina and the water is not clear. I would NEVER return to this place. You couldn't even entice me with a free stay. It was THAT BAD. And I love St. Lucia, but NOT THIS RESORT.

I hated this place. Hard on the body!!!! No elevator. The place is DIRTY!!!! Limited food options. Not good for a person with knee or leg issues. Just a horrible place. They also had roaches in the bathtub. The spider webs are everywhere. This place needs a complete overhaul. NOT a good representation of HYATT!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!RUN AWAY!!!!

Location is secluded and 1.5 hours away from airport. It is a good place for couples who want to bask by the pool and enjoy the resort. The Spa services are on the high side so I didn't try them out. The service was exceptional and the staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are nice but did have issues with things not working like the fan and some outlets. However, the AC worked well. The restaurant(s) food was really good. I suggest everything at the pool , the seafood chowder at 14 61. There is a coffee/ice cream shop as well. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent.
