Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit

We had an amazing time at the Grand Velas Rivera Nayarit with our sons and daughter-in-laws while celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary. The team at the hotel were all so kind and helpful for anything we might need. The hotel is gorgeous and the pools are amazing. Not a piece of sargassum grass on the beach. The food at each restaurant was delicious. We even had smash burgers delivered to our chaise lounges beside the pool one day. Great coffee shop and the homemade popovers that arrive at noon each day are so tasty. We definitely feel this all inclusive hotel is by far the nicest one we have been to, including all inclusive cruises. Perla, our concierge, was wonderful. She checked with us both personally and through messages each day to let us know the activities for the day, confirming our dinner reservations and pick up arrangements for departure. She had a lovely plate of chocolate covered strawberries and cold bottle of champagne in our suite to wish us Happy Anniversary. Perfect vacation!!

We have previously stayed at the Grand Velas in Cabo and this location met that same standard: incredible rooms, location, food, service and drinks. Everyone one goes out of their way to make your visit special. We loved the Spa staff, both our masseuse and the butlers. Special shout out to my beach volleyball outdoor crew of Carlos, Emilio and Esteban. Carlos especially was enthusiastic about always making the activities helping and he was constantly trying to teach less skilled players to help them play with more confidence. Also I want to mention our poolside attendees in Francisco and Saturnino. Lastly, our concierge Mario really went above and beyond to ensure that our anniversary celebration was special.

Great property. Room was clean and large. Plenty of space for the kids to run around. Staff is amazing. We really liked the Asian restaurant. Pools are kids friendly as well.

Over priced and limited optiins for lunch, speciality restaurants are good but not excellent for the price you pay

The Best All-Inclusive Family Resort We’ve Ever Experienced! Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is truly in a league of its own. We’ve stayed at all-inclusive resorts before, but this was hands-down the best all-inclusive experience we’ve ever had as a family. From the moment we arrived, everything felt luxurious, thoughtful, effortless, and incredibly personal, and the rooms were beautiful, overlooking the pool and beach! There were lots to do for kids, and the shows each night were so fun! One of the biggest standouts was the 1:1 concierge service. Everyone was SO nice! Maria, our personal concierge, was absolutely exceptional and went above and beyond in ways we will never forget. At turndown service, we received these amazing dulce de leche cookie treats that our family fell in love with. When Maria found out how much we loved them, she actually went to a local store and bought more for our family to take home. There are truly no words for that level of kindness and hospitality. The resort itself is gorgeous. The infinity pools overlooking the beach are incredible, and we loved how walkable and thoughtfully designed the entire property is. This might sound like a small thing until you’re traveling with kids, but if you forget something in your room, it is convenient and close while still feeling spacious and luxurious. And the FOOD! Absolutely outstanding, it was genuinely top-notch food, period. We ate incredibly well everywhere: at the buffet, room service, by the pool, and at the specialty restaurants. The quality and consistency across the entire resort were impressive. What really makes Grand Velas special, though, is the attention to detail. It feels like they have thought about every little thing that could make traveling with a family easier, more relaxing, and more special. The service is warm and genuine, the property is beautiful, the food is exceptional, and the experience feels truly luxurious without ever feeling stuffy. We left feeling incredibly grateful, and already wishing we could go back.
