Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit

10/10!! Service was amazing and the food was over the top good. Like OVER THE TOP. First time at the Grand Velas and it blew us away. We travel a lot and are fortunate enough stay at great resorts. Grand Velas definitely fits that bill! *Special mention of the care and attentiveness that the staff took with my daughter who has Celiac (gluten allergy)... it's always a point of stress when we travel, worrying about the food she'll be able to eat. They went above and beyond to ensure her food safety and create dishes for her that she would love! We'll be back soon! Thank you to everyone at the resort who made our stay amazing!

This was our fifth or sixth stay in as many years, visiting in both winter and summer, with stays ranging from ten to nineteen days. Based on that consistency alone, we can say with confidence that Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit stands apart as the finest resort in Nuevo Vallarta and the broader Riviera Nayarit region. The level of service, attention to detail, immaculate cleanliness, beautifully renovated rooms, and prime beachfront location are consistently exceptional. The property itself is stunning and the overall atmosphere is clearly upscale without feeling formal or stiff. During the day there is a pleasant energy throughout the resort, while evenings are well managed, with outdoor events concluding early enough to ensure a calm and restful night. The amenities are first class. The spa is outstanding, offering a wide range of treatments, and the variety of restaurants and daily activities means there is genuinely something for every type of guest. Service across the resort, from beach and concierge support to dining and room service, is warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Grand Velas is not a budget resort, but for guests who value quality, consistency, and exceptional service, it represents excellent value. The people, food, drinks, amenities, and setting all combine to create a resort experience that keeps us returning year after year.

We had a wonderful stay, marked by impeccable service, the extreme kindness of the entire staff, spotless cleanliness throughout the hotel, outstanding gastronomy, and an exceptional pool and spa structure. We enjoyed unforgettable days as a family and left with the certainty that this is one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at. However, I would like to share one point that left us quite disappointed, especially because it contrasts with the very high standard of the rest of the hotel: the Kids Club. Although the physical space is very good and well designed, we missed a more active and educational program for the children. During our stay, we noticed that no activities were offered to stimulate learning, creativity, or interaction, such as arts and crafts workshops, cooking classes, cultural activities, or guided games. The staff members generally did not interact with the children, and the space ended up functioning more as a room to watch television than as a true kids’ club. This was frustrating, as we believe that a hotel of Grand Velas’ level could offer a children’s experience as outstanding as the one provided to adults.

My family along with our friends had a great time staying at Grand Velas! The kids loved it and didnt want to leave. All the staff members provided exceptional service. There was a great variety of food and it was delicious. We stayed in a double bedroom and it was spacious. The resort was clean throughout. I recommend staying at this resort.

This was my 3rd time at the Grand Velas and there’s a reason why I keep coming back. It is their employees that make this place a true paradise gem. This time, I brought my family for a 3-night stay in January 2026, so they can also experience the beautiful resort. Amazing food, accommodations and even better service from these wonderful humans: Chepe (I always ask for him to be my concierge), Carlos for the outdoor activities, Mariana (bike tour), Celeso and Marvin at Lucca, Francisco and Daniel at Piaf and Francisco at Selva del Mar. Will come back for sure!
