First class hospitatility at a beautiful resort. The food at each restraunt is delicious. Special thanks to Carlos, Emee down at the pool and Mario, Luis, and Isaac who helped with so much each day. Came with my family during off season, everyone had such a great vacation.

We stayed at the resort in early September with high expectations, fueled by the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience fell significantly short and was not worth the cost. The most disruptive issue was the pervasive, undisclosed construction. For our entire week-long stay, we endured constant noise from drilling and other work, both day and night. This severely impacted our ability to relax (even dinners were interrupted by the sound of drills). Furthermore, the dining experience was a major disappointment. The food was consistently lackluster and, at times, inedible. A particular low point was the "fish of the day," which smelled far from fresh. The one positive note was the staff, who were genuinely attentive and friendly. However, we suspect this level of service was facilitated by the resort being at low capacity (with fewer than 60 guests during our stay). It's worth noting that we have received equally good service at other PVR resorts during peak seasons. While management may offer a response or a certificate for a future stay, our concerns are too substantial to consider returning. Although the construction is likely completed, we would still advise potential guests to explore other resorts in the area that may offer a similar experience for a better value. We documented the issues extensively and believe transparency is crucial for informed booking decisions.

We keep coming back because the service is very good. When you first arrive Liticia the manager of the spa is so welcoming, professional and genuine, and as we are in a similar business we understand that service is ultra important. Thank you Leticia!

What a wonderful experience we had at the Grand Velas resort. It was truly paradise. The atmosphere and the food was out of this world!! Our concierge Luis Mateo went over and above his duties and responsibilities. What ever we needed he was there, no hesitation. Enrique that took care of our every need around the pool, was outstanding, always had a smile on his face. Special mention also goes to Kevin in the spa and also Edith who gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. I recommend Grand Velas to anyone considering an all inclusive resort in Peurta Vallarta.

I stayed at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit for two nights and only have wonderful things to say about the property. The staff is absolutely fantastic -- always friendly, well-trained, quick, and ready to help with anything. Everyone gets a "personal concierge" who was a real time-saver for dinner reservations, spa appointments, and general questions. The spa is clean and the treatments I had (massage, facial, and hydrotherapy circuit) were wonderful, but the hydrotherapy pool area is showing its age just a bit. Because this is the oldest Grand Velas property, I was expecting it to feel a bit run down, but it did not show its age at all. The gym is especially modern.
My suite was "resort view" but I could clearly see the ocean beyond the pool without having to crane my neck or unpack the binoculars. It is most definitely a family-friendly resort, but the adults-only areas are separate and quite relaxing. Pool and beach service are top-notch. Food quality was very good, especially the Mexican restaurant and pool/beach options. The breakfast buffet could be a bit more exciting, but I'm not a fan of buffets... if you just want an omelet, opt for room service, which is lovely. I highly recommend this resort, especially for families, but couples and singles will also love it. It's worth the price and it is a real 5-star luxury property.

Just wanted to let your staff know that after 6 nights at the Grand Velas we didn't want to leave. The staff was very attentive and the food in all three restaurants was delicious. Our room was very contemporary with a Mexican feel. We were able to lie in bed and see the ocean. I would highly recommend it and have already.
