Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit

Exactly ten years after our first trip to Grand Velas (for our honeymoon), my wife and I knew we had to go back to celebrate a decade of marriage. We had such an amazing time in 2016 that a subsequent visit would be hard to match up—but it did! I have to highlight the Activities offerings and the team, who are all simply superb. Activities is once again the favorite part of my stay. They are always down for a game of something, and we played *a lot.* Volleyball, ping pong, blackjack, pickleball—all fun (and competitive!) games with a smiling crew. Special thanks to Jazmin (who also let a bike ride outside of the resort one morning), Emilio, Brandon, Charlie, Gus (my pickleball nemesis), Andrea and Delvi, among others. Grand Velas wouldn't be the same without the Activities team!! The room, food, service (thanks to Nino and Francisco for their poolside hospitality), views...everything is just excellent. A fantastic vacation!

Blown away! We've been to 5 or 6 resorts and this is the first one we said we *definitely* have to return to. Yes the food and pool are excellent, but for us, it was all the little details in between that made this a must-return. Grand Velas Riviera Maya is full of personal touches and exceptional service. We felt completely taken care of at all times in this clean, beautiful place. What kind of attention to detail goes on here? About 2/3 through the trip, my wife handwrote her nickname on a signup to sing a karaoke song. By the next morning - our TV menu was changed to say "Good morning, [nickname]". It's just one minor thing, but when you stack them all together, it paints a picture of a resort that is very intentional about its guests. We want to thank our concierge Salvador, who made sure we had anything we wanted right away. The entire staff from front desk to cleaning was also accommodating to our requests. And I want to highlight the incredible activities team, including Jazmin, Brandon, Andrea, Delvy, and others. They had plenty for my sons and I to do during the day, and brought such a positive energy to everything they did. One morning I joked that I'd like to dance a little while I was there...and they put a dance lesson together for me that afternoon! (I told you...it's about the little things here!) We can't wait to return.

Wonderful suites only and all- inclusive hotel. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff is highly attentive.

Excellent trip, 5-star service all the way around. From the pool to the food to the butler service, everything was taken care of. Clean, spacious, nice updated rooms. The beach is really nice but the waves are strong so be careful for that Big shout out to Gustavo at the pool and Dulce our Butler 🎉

Amazing end of summer family vacation. From the minute we checked in, the attention to service was incredible due in large to Salvador our Concierge. He was on top of everything the entire week. We appreciated the entire team who was focused on our amazing experience. Thanks to Gustavo and Eduardo and Kenia at the pool, Kevyn at the pool bar, and Daniel the bartender!
