Absolutely amazing stay at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit
This was the second trip to the Grand Velas, this time we brought our two boys, my mother in law, my brother and his wife. I was afraid that I talked up the experience at grand velas but it did not disappoint if anything I undersold. Everyone that we encountered at the resort were so friendly and helpful! We would love to highlight the incredible hospitality that Nino, Carlos, Miguel, and Francisco. Nino and Francisco gave the utmost service poolside and made sure that we were beyond taken care of. They were incredible to say the least. Miguel at Frida is one of a kind and we had such a great experience with him during our dining experiences. Carlos is so helpful when it comes to water sports. He understands and pushes for safety. He made sure we were taken care of when it came to water sports and checked on us after we were done. We are so overjoyed with our stay and will recommend to everyone.

We had an incredible experience!! Everything was so amazing!! Saturnino (Nino as we called him!!) was incredible!! Impeccable service and so friendly!! Would recommend this resort to everybody!!

It was one of the best stays from arrival to departure. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean just everything all around!!! Food was EXCELLENT all Piaf, Lucca, Frida, Sen Lim, Azul, Amart Cafe, Selva del mar and one of my best restaurants inside the resort Piaf (French restaurant). Also, the atmosphere the entertainment they had every night was awesome. The value the staff to waiter, hostess, room service was always 100%. The location of the pools blends with the Pacific horizon near the beach and where Grand Velas Resort is great the noise level was not disturbing with transit vehicles. All around I recommend Grand Velas 100%!!!

A beautiful resort with breathtaking sunsets. The staff are very helpful. Luis was amazing. He got everything that we wanted to do booked for us. If you have the chance go make all the memories

I stayed at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit for two nights and only have wonderful things to say about the property. The staff is absolutely fantastic -- always friendly, well-trained, quick, and ready to help with anything. Everyone gets a "personal concierge" who was a real time-saver for dinner reservations, spa appointments, and general questions. The spa is clean and the treatments I had (massage, facial, and hydrotherapy circuit) were wonderful, but the hydrotherapy pool area is showing its age just a bit. Because this is the oldest Grand Velas property, I was expecting it to feel a bit run down, but it did not show its age at all. The gym is especially modern.
My suite was "resort view" but I could clearly see the ocean beyond the pool without having to crane my neck or unpack the binoculars. It is most definitely a family-friendly resort, but the adults-only areas are separate and quite relaxing. Pool and beach service are top-notch. Food quality was very good, especially the Mexican restaurant and pool/beach options. The breakfast buffet could be a bit more exciting, but I'm not a fan of buffets... if you just want an omelet, opt for room service, which is lovely. I highly recommend this resort, especially for families, but couples and singles will also love it. It's worth the price and it is a real 5-star luxury property.

Just wanted to let your staff know that after 6 nights at the Grand Velas we didn't want to leave. The staff was very attentive and the food in all three restaurants was delicious. Our room was very contemporary with a Mexican feel. We were able to lie in bed and see the ocean. I would highly recommend it and have already.
