Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit

Our stay at Grand Velas Puerto Vallarta was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The resort itself is stunning—luxurious, immaculately maintained, and truly five-star in every sense—but what made our trip unforgettable was the exceptional staff. Our concierge, Pearla, went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. She was attentive, kind, and always one step ahead of our needs, making everything effortless and stress-free. The poolside experience was elevated thanks to Lamberto, whose charisma, energy, and outstanding service made every day by the pool so much fun. He brought such a great vibe and genuinely made us feel taken care of at all times. Evenings at the French restaurant were a highlight of our trip. The dinners were absolutely delicious, and the nights were truly memorable thanks to Francisco. His service, knowledge, and warmth turned every meal into a special experience we’ll never forget. Grand Velas Puerto Vallarta exceeded all expectations. Between the world-class service, incredible dining, and amazing staff, this was one of the best resort experiences we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to return!

Our stay was excellent in all aspects. The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff were extremely nice and always accommodating. Excellent rooms with very nice amenities. As great as the resort and staff were the food was even better. The filet at the French restaurant is a must We have been going to all-inclusive for the last 15 years. This was without a doubt the best resort we have ever stayed at. We will be returning. Lastly, our Concierge, Perla was exceptional.

Our stay at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were all warm and attentive and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The check in process was such a lovely touch, we were greeted with a massage and a glass of bubbles and juice for the kids. The resort grounds are immaculately maintained and very clean. The pool area was relaxing and not too crowded, lots of loungers available. The food was outstanding with plenty of variety, all restaurants were great at accommodating little picky eaters. Lucca was our favourite restaurant, the violinist that evening was extremely talented. Our suite was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. We loved the mini bar treats and drink selection. Our concierge Perla, was very thoughtful, efficient, responsive, and always a pleasure to interact with. The kids club staff were all terrific. My daughter loved the daily picnic performances. The food was outstanding with plenty of variety. Lucca was our favourite restaurant. We also enjoyed our mixology class hosted by David. It is one of the best resort experiences we’ve ever had, we will definitely return and look forward to trying other Grand Velas properties.

My husband, me, and 210 of our closest friends and family from all over the world celebrated our wedding at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. From the first site visit to the best weekend of our lives, every detail was perfectly thought out from Gabriela and the Velas team! It's been exactly one month and our guests are STILL raving about the hospitality, comfort, luxury, amenities, and cuisine at Velas. Gabriela and her team paid attention to every detail, both for us as the couple and our family and friends. We felt we were at home with a smile and wave from each and every employee onsite. The stay was nothing short of magical. Maid and cleaning staff, room service, gym, best spa in the world, kids shows, the increidble dining options.. just WOW! Every room type was gorgeous with views of the ocean from almost everywhere. The wedding team executed build outs and break downs efficiently and without disturbing other guests. Every event felt like we were transported to a completely different venue. I am Indian and my husband is Australian and Velas Chef Guillome and his crew worked extremely hard to create the most authentic menu full of variety, spices, and hold honor to the culture. We felt we received full value of what we spent. Truly magical. The grounds were spotless, gardeners, maintenance, etc were abundant and clear they valued their work. The hotel felt brand new every day. A wedding with 200+ guests is no easy feat and the hotel encouraged the environment to be fun and fabulous!

Again we traveled to our favorite resort where everyone knows our name. Upon arriving at the lovely open air lobby and registration area, we were met by bell man Santos who greeted us by name and said “welcome home.” After a brief complimentary massage and check in, we were taken to our lovely remodeled and completely refurnished suite. The view from our room was beautiful, overlooking the lovely grounds, infinity pool right onto the Banderas Bay and into the Pacific Ocean. The adult area near the pool and hot water spa is where we relaxed with pool side food service, drinks and other services that were graciously provided. At breakfast when Fidel, manager of Azul restaurant saw us he came to our table and welcomed us back, with his usual friendly greeting and smile. Other familiar restaurant staff who greeted us were Georgina, Edgar and Ricardo who brought me my favorite fruit. All of the restaurants and staff were excellent as usual. The menus were fresh with some new dishes. We were pleased to be seated on the terrace when dining at Frida, and to be seated at a private table at Lucca. Each evening after our meal we would end our day sitting on the patio overlooking the Koi pond, listening to or dancing to good music while enjoying our evening cocktail. There were many staffers who made our trip another memorable one, here are the names of some. Many of them welcomed us by our name when we saw each other again: Sebastian Vazquez (we always get a “welcome home” and warm greeting). Francisco and Jorge (Sebastian’s assistants) Pearla Rodriguez our concierge did a fine job in scheduling our dinners and spa times. Luis Mateo and “Cheppy” (previous concierges) came by to greet us several times during our stay. Itzel (knows us by our names), Alba, Bianca in Koi were always attentive as they served us. Cesar, Veronica Armando, Mauricio (Frida) Fidel, Eduardo, Pablo, Saul (Azul) Conrad, Uziel, Mia (Sen Lin) Jose Ramos Edvin, Enrique, Eduardo Gustavo (pool) Javier, Celso, Monica,Kevin (Lucca) Alan, Daniel and Angel who greeted and welcomed us by name when we entered Piaf. Francisco, Arturo Even Ms. Pilar Perciavalle, managing director, stops to say hello and welcomes us back when she sees us, no matter how busy she might be. Her leading by example no doubt is a big reason why the resort emanates a very positive atmosphere among the staff. On an occasion when my wife and I ordered coffee at Amat coffee bar, Ms. Perciavalle brought our coffee to us. Her attentiveness to service was immediate when the completed order was placed on the counter and we did not know it was ready for us, she noticed and she responded. Thank you Ms. Perciavalle! Cleanliness is obviously important to the Velas management because not only are the rooms spotless, but the grounds are kept clean by pleasant workers who keep the facility meticulously beautiful. In our estimation, this all inclusive five star resort is an excellent value when you consider all the amenities, atmosphere, exquisite restaurants and the personal care taken to ensure an enjoyable vacation for every guest.
