This place is the definition of a true 5 star property. SE spa was second to none. Front desk Guadalupe was attentive and friendly. Mario our concierge was excellent, as ALWAYS. Second time here. Coming back in February. I can't say enough good things. Highly highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. Absolutely exceptional personal customer service top to bottom. We absolutely love this resort. The food is great and newly renovated rooms are beautiful. However, the best part of this resort is the amazing staff. Perla is THE BEST concierge. She made our trip perfect from beginning to end. Thank you Perla for making our anniversary celebration so special. The team at Azul for breakfast and lunch are incredible - Fidel, Ricardo, Francisco, Pablo, Carlos, Litui and Georgiana. Eduardo and Gustavo at the pool make sure you are comfortable and well looked after while poolside. Carlos, Brandon and the activity team made sure beach and water volleyball were happening daily. Also thank you to Perla and the Chef at Lucca for making me a Bianca pizza (no longer on the menu) - one of my favourite comfort meals of the trip. This resort has the best staff which continue to make us come back again and again.

My family (3 adult couples) just returned from an 8 day vacation at Grand Velas Puerto Vallarta. We planned this trip carefully because we know how hard it is to get everyone together and we wanted it be relaxing. Fabiola helped ensure everything was perfect. She and Edna coordinated our arrival and departure plans, and every detail was covered. Eduardo and Gustavo at the adult pool deck were engaging and attentive. They kept us hydrated. Eme and Carlos invited us to participate in activities which kept us interacting with other guests. And Ramon, our concierge, checked on us each day. He made sure we knew about daily activities by texting us the prior evening. Every meal was wonderful. The four themed restaurants are superb. It’s hard to choose a favorite. Azul, the breakfast and lunch buffet, is not the typical all-inclusive buffet. We were never bored by the food. The cafe de olla is fantastic. The week exceeded our expectations in every way.

This was our fourth trip to Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. Returning to a place where your previous expectations were exceeded and your vacation was perfect, can be a letdown if your new experiences doesn't quite match up to how you remember. But, not here at Grand Velas Nayarit! This vacation was absolutely perfect. We needed it. From the moment we stepped into the beautiful lobby we felt the stress lift off out shoulders. A quick neck massage and welcome drink also helped us to relax. The view of the gardens and the ocean, takes your breath away...no matter how many times you see it. Our concierge, Chepe, met us, welcoming us back and making sure we were informed and comfortable with whatever our plans might be. We were glad to have him assigned to us once again. He is a "master" at his trade and is genuinely happy, pleasant and professional staff member. He found a way to surprise us with treats in our room and sharing his favorite coconut candy with us. We hope to see him the next time! Our suite had been recently renovated and was absolutely beautiful and modern. No detail had been missed. Plenty of AC, a comfortable bed, personalized pillow selection, and a carefully thought-out shower, made our stay all so relaxing. Leticia, the housekeeper, kept the room in perfect order, we always appreciated coming back to a clean, well-stocked space. The turned down bed, bucket of ice and candy treats at night, were an added bonus. We ate at Piaf, Frida and Lucca, multiple times. Each restaurant went above and beyond with the quality of food selection, variety of wines and incredible service. We know for next time, not to order so much! It was fun to see some of our favorite waiters from past trips. Francisco at Piaf and Kevin at Lucca. They are two very different waiters, but each professional in their own ways. By the way, having the ability to make your restaurant reservations before even getting to Grand Velas was a very welcome amenity. That way a plan can be put in place for the week. As for the service at the pool...we really liked having the same waitstaff the entire week. That way they get to know your preferences, and you get to know them! Nadia and Gilberto were perfect hosts at the pool. They kept the glasses full, brought cold water several times during the day and made sure a menu was handy when it was time to eat. They were friendly, professional and willing to listen to our chatter. They are two very fine examples of your service staff. We will look for them next time we visit. We will also look for Eduardo, the pool concierge. He has such a charming and whimsical personality, which was really appreciated as he made sure that we had everything we could possibly need at the pool. Unfortunately, we didn't do as much walking along the beach as we normally like to do, but two recent storms had done some erosion making it more difficult for older adults to stroll along the water's edge. But it was so good to see Grand Velas restoring the beach to its natural beauty. We also enjoyed the nightly entertainment and drinks on the patio. Alba did an excellent job of keeping our glasses filled as she served everyone outside and inside the sports bar. She was friendly, professional and exemplifies the level of attention expected of all employees at Grand Velas Nayarit. What a wonderful vacation experience! We look forward to returning for another beautiful week in paradise.

Family friendly comfortable resort suites and spacious conference rooms with projector capabilities, perfect for our professional conference. The beautiful ocean side pools are absolutely amazing! The food was five star in all four of the resort restaurants, and so at the breakfast and lunch buffet at Azure with ocean views. All of the wait staff were helpful, friendly, spoke good English and were very fast to meet any need that came up! Always a cold drink offered at the poolside too. The housekeeping staff were stellar with their cleaning and turn down services. Local recommendations for fun activities were top notch (recommend the scuba diving class). The spa staff were so very sweet but not at all pushy like some other places. Overall just a stellar place to stay during our visit to Mexico and very highly recommended!
