Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit

Jose at the swim up bar was the best! He learned how I like my drink and everyone he would see me approach he would make me one and have it ready! He was very friendly and just great customer service Chepe was our concierge and he was far the best concierge we have ever had in the 12 total visits we have made to all the grand Velas resorts. He was personal and attentive to all our needs. Will definitely be requesting him for our next visit! Eduardo the pool concierge is just the best! He blew up all the floaters for the kids in our group and stored them for us so we didn’t need to drag them all up to the room! He was constantly checking on our group and helping with any needs we may had had! A real gem Daniel and the ladies at koi bar are simply the best! Daniel makes the best drinks and the ladies are so attentive and sweet. We never had an empty drink lol We just had the best time

Everything was absolutely amazing! The hotel, the staff, the accommodations! I cannot express how smooth our trip/our wedding went! Special shout out to our wedding coordinator Gabriela! She is not only the nicest, but she made everything so easy for us and was very easy to reach! Gabriela and her team exceeded our expectations! Our wedding was a dream come true!! The staff and hotel were also very accommodating to my Grandfather that recently had an accident a week before our trip putting him in a wheelchair. The staff not only helped us around the hotel, but would place chairs by the pool for him so he could be by us in the perfect spot. They went above and beyond and I can’t thank them enough!

We just returned from an incredible vacation at Grand Velas Nayarit, and we are already looking forward to planning our next stay at one of their resorts. Everything about the experience was top-tier, but a few things really stood out: The Activities Team A huge highlight of our trip was the activity staff. They were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to get our kids involved and excited about the various games (water aerobics, basketball, blackjack, etc.). We truly loved spending time with them! A special shout-out to Brandon, Mariana, and Teresa (aka Beyoncé) —you guys are superstars and made our experience so memorable. The Dining Experience While all the food at the resort was really good (except for a few room service items), Frida was by far the standout. The combination of the service and the quality of the food was unmatched. In fact, we loved it so much that we went back on our very last night, even though we had just dined there the night before! The Room & Amenities Our room was well-appointed and very comfortable. My favorite feature was the daybed on the balcony, which was the ultimate way to relax. The Teen's Club was also a fun place to hang out when we needed a break from the sun. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful stay. We can't wait to come back!

We were looking forward to a relaxing, no-decisions type of trip, and Grand Velas did not disappoint! We enjoyed the excellent food (ask Jorge at Sen Lin for the dessert cocktail) and spend so much time at the pool. Thank you to Nadia and Gilberto for all of the palomas - and shout out to Gustavo for keeping us in the shade :) The entertainment was top notch as well. We loved the evening shows--superheroes was a particular favorite and the MJ experience was so well done! We were sad to leave, but would revisit in a heartbeat and would highly recommend this resort to others as well.

This was one of the nicest properties in which we have ever stayed. From the moment you arrive until you leave, one can see the attention to detail in everything. The poolside experience topped it. Jose the Captain kept everything flowing. The food delicious and and high quality.
