Sandals Ochi

Jauvon at the bar at Dunn’s River Falls, Jamaica, is an absolute master of his craft! He just made us the best mudslide we’ve ever had, and it was pure perfection. The balance of flavors was spot-on—creamy, rich, and refreshing, with just the right kick to make it unforgettable. Not only is Jauvon a talented mixologist, but he’s also incredibly personable and welcoming. He made the whole experience fun and engaging, taking the time to chat with us while crafting our drinks with precision and flair. His warm energy and genuine enthusiasm made us feel right at home. If you’re visiting Dunn’s River Falls, do yourself a favor and stop by the bar to see Jauvon. His mudslides are legendary, and his friendly vibe will make your visit even more memorable!

The fitness pro was outstanding! Thank you Sandals Ochi. Looking forward to coming back. My wife and I love the sandals brand and we also are looking forward to you guys having some more new equipment. We missed most of the classes however the professionalism and friendliness of the gym and fitness pro was outstanding. We enjoyed the meals and the accommodations on a whole. The pillows were not as fluffy as we wanted them to be so hopefully we can get some fluffier pillows next time.

January 2025 This was our second trip to Sandals Ochi. We love Jamaica, the people and the culture. It’s our 3rd trip. Last year it was Beaches Negril. Sandals Ochi is one of the oldest and most affordable Sandals. It’s a beautiful resort with some wear that could use a little love. It has all the amenities of the other resorts, just a little weathered. The food is good overall. I really enjoyed the French restaurant and Neptunes. The diving is included and the dives are great for novice divers. The dives are single tank dives. You can continue your training for advance. We go off season so there’s no wait for the dive or snorkel boat. There’s a little more push for advance training in the offseason as the shop is less busy. The beach area is small and rocky but if you like snorkeling there’s a small reef next to the rock wall. There’s a many fish off the beach as you’d see snorkeling or diving. The staff is friendly. We were greeted at every bar and restaurant with smiles. Our room was pretty. Our balcony had views of the ocean and we could listen to the shows from our balcony. There seemed to be some issue with plumbing. The toilet needed a little help and the cold water had some air in the lines on occasion. Overall no concern for us. Our room was clean and bar stocked daily. With direct flights from Miami to Ochi we definitely plan on returning to Sandals Ochi in the future.

We just got back from an amazing week at Sandals Ocho Rios! We are so grateful to all of the staff that made our experience so great! Our butler team, Shenae and Daniel, were top notch and they accommdated every request and went above and beyond for us several times during our stay. Big Joe was always around with a friendly smile, making sure we were living our best life on the resort. Some of our favorite people there were the Playmakers, specifically: Jordini, Panda, Kemar (Jiggy) and Deashane! They are a ton of fun and enhanced our stay immensely. Thanks again to the whole resort staff for everything! We had a wonderful time!

The cabana was relaxing and amazing. Deschanel and Kemar were great entertainment with great energy. Richardo was our server and he did amazing. He did not complain about running back and forth and made an amazing drink. I would definitely recommend Sandals Ohci
