A pleasant experience not counting that it is an occasional rainy season, this is not the fault of the hotel obviously, but consider this if what you like is to be on the beach. Regarding the room it has been very comfortable. The spa area, such as the sauna and steam pools are included and is an excellent option to disconnect for a moment as it is extremely quiet. In restaurants I consider there is a lack of variety but what they have is good. But without a doubt the attention is first, its friendly and attentive staff, we loved the hospitality.

If you're looking for the Cancun of thumping disco beat, swim up pool bars, and reliving college days, this is absolutely not for you. It is for mature adults and those looking for a peaceful, relaxing four days. The staff is outstanding! 5 Stars! The most polite and friendly we've encountered in decades of traveling and six prior trips to Cancun and the Riviera Maya. The liquor is all top shelf. No "local" or bargain no-name brands here. The spa is wonderful. We usually had a "continental" breakfast at the main building, then spa, then walked to the beach/pool enjoying the side trails along the way And yes, we had a overcast day where there we sampled way too much tequila. Unfortunately there are no shows or activities after dinner which is a big negative for us.

FABULOUS!!! My daughter, 84 yr old mother and I absolutely loved our stay! The resort was beautiful and well manicured! My daughter and I had a massage and highly recommend the very friendly and professional staff (the spa area was gorgeous)! By the end of our stay, we had tasted a variety of gourmet dishes served at every sitting (the pastries are divine) and had loved them all! And we can’t say enough about the staff! They were all exceptional (Raul, Carlos, and Jose to name a few). And we can’t forget Victor, our waiter for most dinners!! He offered wonderful choices for entrees and drinks and went above and beyond entertaining us and making us (especially my mom) feel special!! He was phenomenal!! It was all top notch and the best place I have ever stayed! We can’t thank them enough and highly recommend for your next trip!!!

I’ll start by saying we had a lovely time here, cenote room was great. Large, spotless and with a lovely view. Staff were all great. SPA is very nice. Restaurant menu was fine but not perfect. Beach is clean with plenty of beds… but…. The rooms overlooking the lagoon near the beach look abandoned, in serious need of work. The exterior paintwork and balconies are coated with rust. The beach dining area looks tired, paintwork is washed off in places and decking/railings are buckled in places. A new hotel is being built immediately next door, heavy machinery and piling machines are at work , noise is as you would expect . Apparently been going on for 6 months and looks to have a long way to go. The resort is long, about 1 mile from reception and the beach. Bikes are available and periodic buggies can take you up and down, some areas are …eeer… fragrant. We and serval other guests had stomach issues, I was very, very sick after eating egg Benedict breakfast , may or may not be coincidence . I need to lose weight , this really helped. Lasted a couple of days. Food is tasty but limited, many items you might like are ‘extra’ , crab , steak etc about 100-150 usd. Room service is 20 usd per night. The biggest potential drawback however is the lack of guest facilities. When we stayed the weather was great so time on the beach or terrace was very pleasant, when I was unwell I could sit outside in the sun so could be worse. If the weather is poor there is nothing to do here at all other than the spa. There is no inside bar, the single modest pool bar has no covered area so all you would be able to do is sit in your room unless you leave the hotel . The hotel itself is on a busy road so the only way to leave is by taxi. So just be aware that if you want to do more than sit by yourself in the sun or you find the weather rainy during your visit then you’ll be struggling to fill your time here.

It is a different space, full of nature, with a very attentive staff. The rooms have a particular connection with nature, I love to read and without a doubt all the spaces in this hotel lend themselves to spending a time of peace and disconnection but without a doubt the best place, apart from the beautiful beach, is the SPA envelops you in an atmosphere of peace, the outdoor pool is incredible and steam with that smell of eucalyptus is the best, all this included in the cost of the room. On the other hand the Aguamarina restaurant is delicious, but the Mexican evening dinner with the very good show they give stole our attention. In general we loved everything.
