Overall a good experience for an all-inclusive with our kids. The restaurants were nice, the pool and beach areas were nice, everything was nice. The main negative we faced was that it seemed we needed to reserve pool/beach chairs early or we wouldn't have a spot. We found out on the last day that a concierge can move belongings off chairs but it still seems awkward. Still a good trip!

Just left here after a 7 day vacation with my husband 12 year old and 7 year old. Honestly, a smaller resort but that worked out perfectly for us! Our room was beautiful we stayed in the preferred rooms on the 5th floor. We had 1 king bed and a pull out which was comfortable. The service was really good on my opinion. Anita at the coffee bar was so lovely and Luis from the Gohan Asian resto was lovely. We never had an issue finding chairs on the beach and I love the fact that it was so close to the beach where my kids could go back and fourth. The food was hit or miss mostly at the buffet but Portifono and Gohan were my favourites. The staff was soo helpful from the beach to the front desk. If you are looking for a smaller resort where you can just relax this is it!

I went to the Spa at Dreams Riviera Maya and it was spectacular from start to finish! Andrea gave such a relaxing massage from my head, shoulders, ears! All the way to my individual toes!! Brenda was such a pleasant employee that helped me around the spa into the hydro therapy rooms and anticipated my needs for infused water to a mimosa! My family will be booking another stay at Dreams Aventura for sure!

We stayed over the UK Easter holiday's and had a wonderful time. All the staff were amazing and couldn't be more helpful with any queries or requests that the whole family may have had. This was a small resort and we found that beds round the pool and on the beach got reserved very quickly in the mornings and from people that we did not see use them until the afternoon. There was a policy noted on some of the umbrellas that beds could not be reserved prior to 10:30a.m. and belongings would be removed if bed not used for an hour, we only saw this actioned once on our 10 day vacation. We were luckily enough to have 2 small boys eager to get to the pool in the mornings so did not have to worry too much, but felt sorry for some families who arrived at the pool at 8 a.m. to find no space. Especially considering there is a second pool for preferred members only that was out of bounds for the "commoners" that never looked full from our balcony. The food was superb, we especially enjoyed the Asian restaurant with some delicious Sushi selections. The buffet for breakfast and lunch had enough variation that you didn't get bored having to eat the same thing day in day out and was always well stocked whatever time in the service hours you ventured. There was also a BBQ/grill on the beach side which had limited options but fantastic tacos (as well as burgers/nachos/pizza) for lunch. We were a party of 10 so dinner was challenging to get a table for all of us, but other than one night when 2 big tables were taken up by one group in the seaside grill, we were accommodated well. We also had a private dining experience for all 10 of us which although came with an obvious additional charge was reasonable and delicious. William, our sommelier, picked out some perfect wines to accompany the meal. All members of our party would recommend making use of the spa if you can on your trip. For all the treatments we had the hydrotherapy section thrown in for free, with a sauna, steam room, plunge pool and hot tub at your disposal an hour before your treatment. Shout out to Lucia for an amazing treatment and also teaching me some Spanish for good measure. Overall a brilliant memorable trip, made all the more special by the welcoming attitude of all the staff we interacted with and generous, helpful nature of them all. Highly recommend a visit to this resort for anyone looking for sun, sea, culture and above all a lifetime of memories.

The resort was beautiful and well taken care of. The service and staff are excellent . I knew it was a family resort when I booked but I was very surprised at all of the UNSUPERVISED children. At one point, there were two boys, around 5 years old, running thru the buffet and sticking their fingers in all of the desserts. I also saw one drop food on the floor and pick it back up and put it back on the buffet. Trying to order drinks at the swim up bar was sometimes difficult, too. All of the seats were full with kids ordering strawberry daiquiris and pina coladas. The bartender was so busy with the kids, that adults couldn’t get drinks. I understand that the preferred pool used to be adults only. I wish this was still the case.
