Grand Velas Riviera Maya

I went with my family and we had the best experience ever, the hotel is beautiful, rooms perfect and comfortable, the food omg every restaurant is delicious. The treatment of the employees is very good, but we get the good luck finding Mario Alejandro at the Zen pool, he made our experience way better, he's extremely attentive and carring, always with a huge smile ready to help, very good with kids, my 2 son's (3 and 5) loved him to the point they asked "are we going with Mario" instead of asking for going to the pool. 10/10 experience, will come back for sure.

My family had the best time at the Grand Vela‘s Riviera. The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. Andres Garcia, the supervisor for food and beverage at the pool was beyond outstanding. He always made sure to check in with us. He always had a smile on his face and made sure we were taken care of. We felt like royalty. Every single staff member at the pool, wanted to make sure we were comfortable and had food and drinks in our hands at all times. The cleaning staff did an amazing job of keeping the property and our room is clean. The concierge service was accommodating and friendly. We also used the best Babysitter, Samantha Cruz for my daughter. My daughter won’t stop talking about her and we continue to stay in touch. This is an amazing place for families to go relax and have a good time. I can’t say enough amazing things about the resort but their staff is truly what makes it outstanding

Really an excellent experience Stunning, capacious architecture and manicured grounds Warm, capable, ubiquitous service. An obviously high level of training and management. Very good staff Outstanding food from poolside nachos to the Michelin starred Cocina de Autor. Every bite at every restaurant was good. Don’t miss the once-weekly ‘Catch of the Day’ feast at the beach The pools are both great, a balanced contrast to each other. Don’t miss Zen. Especially if Gabriel is serving poolside — that guy’s work is inspiring. The beach is limited but nice Large rooms with good storage, powerful A/C, comfy beds with nice linens Helpful concierge shared many programming options for kids and adults alike via daily WhatsApp messages Good gym, great sauna — try the water ceremony even if not doing a spa service A calming, serene, refreshing, indulgent place to vacation. Go for it

Came here with my wife and it was even better than I expected. We had a great stay! The staff was excellent. Mario Pavón was our favorite and he took care of us each day at the pool. The food was incredible for every meal at each location. The room was perfect and the shuttles between the buildings made it easy to get around. I originally wanted to stay ocean side but it didn’t matter at all. The spa was insane. Get a massage and a water treatment. We did that twice. Pure heaven.

Are you f-ing serious with this place?! At 2k a night for an ambassador pool suite we booked for us and our two young children, we just arrived to say our room was UNAVAILABLE and we’d be in a wing that doesn’t allow kids at the pools or restaurants. I’m so angry I could scream. We have two toddlers and booked this specific suite for them for the location for the pools and restaurants and when we checked in they said we’d been ungraded (to a wing that doesn’t have anything kid friendly… what a joke) and they thought we’d be THRILLED and weren’t expecting my response. What a joke. I can’t believe we are wasting all of this money here and have to deal with this. Thanks for ruining our vacation. I emailed multiple times to confirm we had that specific suite. NOT OK. We haven’t taken a vacation for years and this was so important to our family and it’s now ruined. Can’t wait to walk to the other side of the giant resort to have our kids swim and eat….
