Crystal clear ocean waters, lush jungles and intriguing cenotes make Mexico's Riviera Maya a tropical paradise. It is here that all-inclusive luxury is redefined at the new Grand Velas Riviera Maya. Fronting the white sand beaches of the Caribbean coast, the resort is fringed by a lush Yucatan jungle, promising a rich selection of activities on land and at sea, as well as the serenity of a secluded beach. The brilliant Caribbean offers opportunities for kayaking, sailing, sport fishing or a refreshing swim, perhaps with sea lions and dolphins. Choose to explore the jungles by horseback or on an exciting zip line tour through the canopy, stopping to relax in a natural hot spring. The Riviera Maya is a playground in the sun, and now with Grand Velas, it is home to spectacular tropical luxury.

Second visit to Gran Velas Riviera Maya. It’s a privilege to feel the experience. The service is outstanding, from Jeronimo our personal concierge, to Eduardo at the pool bar or Abraham at the Chaka. They make the difference. Proprety and maintenance of the propriety is outstanding.

Really attentive staff and friendly, beautiful rooms and pool area. My concierge made sure everything I needed was provided. The spa was incredible and the massage I had was one of the best I have had in my life! The Sen Lin restaurant was lovely. Room service was not my favourite- just very basic quality of food which did bring my overall rating down.

Went for a wedding. The property is beautiful, the staff is the most friendly, helpful I have ever experienced. Truly they seem to want to make you comfortable and are always smiling. The food is delicious- especially for an all inclusive! (Except for Frida- I would avoid that one). The resort was sold out while we there but never felt crowded. The ocean is rocky so not a good swimming spot- but that didn’t matter to us. The only criticism we have is that they make all logistics more convoluted and difficult than they need to be- the checkin process is ridiculously long and confusing, calling the hotel prior to arrival to book anything is next to impossible, etc. but none of this matters because of the beautiful service and spirit of the people working there and the beauty and luxury of the place. We hope to return!

Amazing, food is so good with so many delicious options from Italian food to Asian food, rooms are so clean and comfortable, and beaches are beautiful. There are so many things to do and is it an amazing experience overall, 100% would come back.
