Grand Velas Riviera Maya

Treated like family..it’s a great place to return to! The warmth with which we are greeted is difficult to describe: Luz and her team (including Daniel and Jorge), and Donato, Jasmin at the pool, and at Bistro , the hostess Shayla , the manager, David, Francisco, Fernando, Isaac, Jose all work as a team to create an exceptional experience. And we love Lizette at the desk at Ambassador :D

The hotel was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are very large and comfortable. We stayed on the zen part which was nice and quiet and peaceful which is nice to stay and sleep at while we can easily get the bus between the different areas of the hotel which took two or three minutes on the buses are very regular and we could go to the more active part of the hotel which was the ambassador, the main part by the pool and beach. We did not find it a problem being in the Zen area. The service and the food quality levels are very very high for an all-inclusive . Annie the personal concierge was amazing and no question or request was a problem. She and her team went above and beyond. Also Francesco at the all in service was super helpful and organised all of our excursions and made some great recommendations.

We just left the Grand Velas after a wonderful time in the sun. Our trip was perfect and it was a testament to the great service and staff. While everyone was incredible, we give a special thanks to the staff at the Ambassador pool - Emanuel, Fatima and Jorge were just the best and made our trip so enjoyable. We also appreciated Nicholas and the activities team for keeping our 10 year old busy every afternoon. It was a great mix of enough to do and pure relaxation. I cannot say enough about the combination of food, service and accommodations. We do not usually stay in all inclusive resorts and this was really above any other experience. We cannot wait to come back next year!

We never ate better! Can't name all the wonderful staff, but Raymond Abraham Julian Nicholas Susie Angel Eduardo Oscar Gabriel Giancarlos and Javier were just a few. Nicest, sincerely kind people. Thank you all for being so family friendly.

I have been to all the best hotels , Grace Bag Club, Four Seasons, Ritz, you name it. This hotel by far blew them all away. The service is truly on another level. You want for absolutely nothing. We stayed at the Zen section which for my family was amazing. It is so peaceful walking around . While it was great to be at the fun during the day at the Ambassador section, going back to sleep at the Zen was perfect. I can’t find a single thing I would change and for me that is very rare. I don’t normally book hotels two years in a row but we ( group of 9) all agreed we are going back next February break. Bravo Grand Velas , you knocked it out of the park. Shout out to our pool waiter Alberto , he was the best I’ve ever experienced.
